It wasn't the pick up locations fault. But I arrived before 8 AM and couldn't pick my truck up because the U-Haul app wasn't working correctly. Which caused me to be late to my movers who were there at 8 AM and are paid by the hour so thanks U-Haul not

Provide netting for moms attics so that items do not fall from it. Yes generally you have furniture to block but sometimes you won't. I moved a 5x6 shed this time, and stored stuff up in the moms attic but had nothing to block it in. I didn't push the shed back because I wanted it by the door. But nothing fell in transport. Just thought it would be an good extra for the next person.

The truck I rented the transmission was going out didn't want to shift into second gear causing the engine to rev up more causing more fuel to be used and also the exhaust was so loud. They need to have there truck worked on more.

Make sure they actually check and maintain their trucks. When I rented a truck from them, they gave me one that was absolutely filthy, had a flat tire, every light in the dash was on, had undisclosed damage, an inaccurate fuel level, and it made a grinding sound when it started up and ran. I immediately traded it for another truck. The second truck was equally dirty, also had undisclosed damage, but at least it started and ran without all the lights in the dash turning on. And then it became obvious the truck had a transmission issue. Horrible location, horrible service. I won't rent from them again if I can help it.

The individual working the counter was rude as hell. Initially there was no one at the counter. After about 5 minutes, he showed up, and just stared at me. I asked if I could request my reservation through him, and for about three minutes he completely ignored me. Then finally replied with “if that's what you want”. I asked how I was going to get the 10' truck I reserved because I didn't see it in the parking lot. , He said nothing, just nodded his head in the direction of the side door. I had no idea what he was referencing, so he said “it's there “. The truck was behind the building next door. This man wouldn't make eye contact with me while I was speaking, and initially ignored me altogether. There's not a chance I will ever rent from that location again.

When I showed up to get the truck it was completely covered in ice, the wipers wouldn't work. And why don't you U haul require your vehicles to be filled up, before someone rents? Your cents on the mile is to high. I feel like your company is a scam, in that all the additional charges and when I checked online, I had to manually go back and take of the dolly and pads. That's shady. Won't be using U haul again.

Apparently I pulled it in the the wrong spot. I immediately was greeted by a man who was screaming at me to pull it around back. There were no signs from bridge st to inform me to pull it around back. His English was broken and I couldn't fully understand his instructions. He was very rude. However the guy that I gave my keys to was very polite.

We understand that stuff happens and that trucks may break down but I'd recommend having a better plan for customers for when this happens. We sat in the cold with our child for 6 1/2 hours before a tow company could get to the truck. Then the truck would only take two of us home and so for all to get home safely I called a Lyft and paid $100 to get home. I can think of several other ways that could of went differently

When we picked up the truck, upon inspection my husband checked the oil level. There was no oil on the dip stick. We reported it to the attending uhaul dealer. My husband had to put 3 quarts of oil in the truck before it showed that it was within a safe range. I would have never even thought to check the oil level because as a paying customer, one would think the truck is in good working order. I was told that we would be reimbursed the cost of the oil. When returning the truck we presented the receipt for the oil. The woman had no clue how to reimburse my credit card. She attempted to call her boss 3 or 4 times to see how to do the reimbursement. He never answered. The cost of the rental ended up being even more than the original hold on my card supposedly with a discount. I am very dissatisfied with the service. The truck was FILTHY when we picked it up. If I had not needed the truck so bad to move my son I would have canceled. There were no other trucks available in town. I know because I called. Absolutely a horrible experience!!!!

While I was there I learned several trucks were double booked, myself and two others were waiting on trucks that were not available even though reservations had been secured. Female associate was polite and friendly, male associate was rude and impatient.

The fuel was only at 1/4 tank. I suggest filling all your trucks and when it's rented it goes out full. It's expected to be brought back full. Too much guess work in trying to get fuel to a specific level.

This is a hotel office, but the worst customer service. The attendant seemed like he did not want to be there. Wanted me to give him an alternate phone number to rent the Uhaul, which I did not have and only own one number. He said it was a requirement in order to rent it, although I do not recall doing this at other locations. I just made up a number because I only have one. The attendant was rude and it seemed I was inconveniencing him by being there.

The reviews I read prior to my experience are not indicative of the service that I received. Not even close!! The gentleman that assisted with the pickup, and return of the vehicle, was very personable and helpful...couldn't have been better! It was a very pleasant experience. I will definitely use Uhaul and The Executive Inn for all future needs.

This place is a joke. He charged me 99 cents a mile for the entire trip even though I had it on Monday and Tuesday also. I was 15 minutes late and he charged me for an extra day. I usually rent twice a month minimum very disappointed in the greed...

I rented a 20' truck. Upon receiving the truck, discovered the actual floor space of the box to be about 16'. Due to the lack of space, we had to remove the dolly which was attached to the inside of the box. I did not request the dolly and did not use the dolly at all whatsoever. I find your advertising this truck as a 20' truck to be false and misleading. Furthermore, the placement of the dolly in the truck consumed even more needed space. Since I had to remove the dolly to make space, I have now been charged for the dolly that I never asked for or used. For reasons of false advertising and frivolous charges, I am quite dissatisfied with the U-haul experience. I've had much better experiences using Budget truck rental, and nicer equipment in general.
