Location is very nice--no needed improvements.
DONALD HI came in with a coupon that wasn’t applied or honored. Was charged twice. Had to call and it it straightened out. Two times in a row U-Haul have been an inconvenience

JULIE SWe could have picked up the truck a couple hours later if I’d of known it would change the time we had to drop it off. Had a lot to do so got additional charge for returning a couple hours later. Consider a grace period if returned by same day by close of business. Otherwise everything went smoothly and folks on both ends were helpful.
ELI RThe app is a bit glitchy. Took a second to figure out I wasn't at the pick up location as it was closed on a Sunday. Looked clean and nice the property and the pick up area was clean and simple lock to get key so was good.

Melissa GThe self check in process was a nightmare. Tried to use the app - very difficult to navigate. Had to call U-Haul. Was asked for two verification people to call. I wish this would have been stated beforehand so that I could have people ready to receive call. Passport? Who carries around their passport? However I would have if I had known ahead of time about these requirements. Was on the phone for an hour to be walked through the “self” check in. Difficult to open the lock to get the keys. Omg I felt like I was on some ridiculous game show trying to reach the next level of obstacles and the prize was a damn U-Haul truck. Wouldn’t it be more efficient to just hire an attendant at the location? We wanted to pick up U-Haul at 7:30am which doesn’t seem unreasonably early. So. Not a great start to an intense day of moving.

Moving is a very stressful thing, and Ken made all the difference on one of the hardest days in my recent history. He does U Haul proud.

Steve LWe have no complaints with the location where we picked up the 20’ Foot UHaul. Where our complaints are with: First off the original locations (Pacific Hwy Medford). We reserved the 20’Foot UHaul on October 9, 2021 – On Friday, October 15th at 2:07pm received a call from the scheduler at the Pacific Hwy location that the vehicle reserved would not be available due to the fact the of their 5 vehicle that should have been available on Saturday – 4 were MIA for over the last 1 to 2 weeks and 1 was having mechanical issues in Burns Oregon. The best he (Gary) could do was maybe a vehicle for us on Sunday, October 17th. I informed Gary this would not work because we had already paid for the Mover-Haulics on Saturday to help with our move. After getting off the phone with Gary – I called your Regional Agent and spoke with Tyler. Tyler was able to find us a 20’Foot UHaul at your Crater Lake Hwy location for Saturday, October 16th with a pick-up time of 11am. I thank Tyler and stated we would be driving 2.5 hours to Medford for moving our belongings out of the storage unit in Medford. On Saturday, October 16th at 10:30am – received a call from Amber stating that the vehicle we had reserved at the Crater Lake Hwy location was no longer available. SERIOUSLY UHAUL!!!! What is wrong with this picture. I was already in Medford after driving 2.5 hours and you call at 10:30am to say no vehicle. Why did you say over a week ago I had a vehicle to rent!!! Then hearing on Friday – no vehicle!! To found a vehicle AND ON SATURDAY AT 10:30AM NO VEHICLE AGAIN!! After a long period Amber found a vehicle 20 minutes away for us. Thus we were late for our already scheduled movers and had to put more miles on our personal vehicle. She gave us an extra day (which we did not need) and extra mileage. What we need is compensation for the mental frustration, extra miles on our personal vehicle , additional mover fees due to be late with Uhaul and extra dollars for the extra gas we had to put into the Uhaul and our personal vehicle.
Nick MThe U-Haul box with the code to get the key was not working, but luckily the site manager was around to come by and assist. Great facility!
Jennifer BHad some difficulty finding parking after office hours, but the U-Haul Customer Service lady made notes recording that I had returned it.
MALCOLM CIdeally I’d like a partial refund. The Uhaul was not very clean, it didn’t come with a back lock like most Uhauls do which made me nervous about theft. The Uhaul also got what seemed like 10mpg. It took two full tanks of gas to get from seattle to Ashland Oregon. I also almost ran out because the estimated miles left went from 100+ to 40 almost instantly. A partial refund would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Matt NThe gentleman in charge was locked in the office - he came out to see what I wanted and had me go park the truck around the corner from the office and drop the keys in a dropbox - did not feel very safe in leaving the truck parked there out on a street with the pads unlocked inside - and good customer service would have done it for me so I felt secure in leaving the truck at the office.

Dalia MThis phoenix Oregon location also has storage units. The people in charge have to open a gate and you have to follow the golf cart to the location of renal which has another gate to take the rental out. After using the uhaul I called them to see where my wife was supposed to pick me up because there isn't room in front of the office for the uhaul rig and my pickup. I called the number on my contract thinking I was calling Phoenix Uhaul. The number on contract is a Corvallis Oregon number which is 200 miles away and didn't know anything about the situation. On my way to the Phoenix store, Corvallis had called Phoenix, then called me and told me to just drive to the office and they will see me and open the gate so wife had room to park my pickup. The people in phoenix are great. Would be nice when you call the number on the contract, you could talk to the people you rented from. Would have saved a lot of hassle. Phoenix people were nice and Uhaul van was great and really clean. Thanks, Larry Bruce
