Alfredo MThis was the worst U-Haul experience I could have imagined. You canceled my truck at the location that was .5 miles from where I was. The same location I rented a storage unit at. Because you cancelled and I had to take a Lyft 30 minutes away to this remote location to pick up a truck I did not make it back to the storage unit in time before it closed which left me stranded in miami with no place to safely park a U-Haul. I had to pay for parking this truck over night and then the next morning unload the items in the storage unit and then drive another 30 minutes to the location to drop this truck off and take another Lyft back. Your cancelling my scheduled U-Haul caused what should have been a 2 hour move into a two day ordeal. Never again with uhaul.

Zarkys VThey make you write a review for the place you picked up from to try and deviate from the real problem which is UHaul. Shitty truck that had trouble starting, opening and closing. After driving 17 miles, they charged me $1/mi, $27 for 6 gallons of gas, and then $30 fuel service charge if that wasn't enough. Then they actually asked if I was ok with the claim or wanted to dispute since this was all over an app. I was surprised that they'd be so kind as to review the charges for me, but it was shortlived when today they just sent me the receipt of my payment. I'm not even the type to care usually and so I'm not going to dispute this further, but this is just how bad this company has come.
Christian LI was given the option of counter check in or online, we did not know the location was closed and it was only virtual. The equipment we rented was not in the truck and there wasn’t anyone there to help. I would not recommend someone get a truck here if they want the full service.
Priscilla CAgent was courteous and nice, but the truck was horrible. Every light on the dash was red, including the tire pressure and the odometer was unreadable. We were petrified that it would leave us stranded, but had no other solution than to hope for the best since it was a long weekend.
LILIANA FThe office is inside a stuffy and dingy office space as part of a warehouse, it's carpeted, with uneven floors, wall panels, and the stairwell upstairs is a hazard. The office itself was just a room with one guy in there watching TV, and he was actively upset and bothered by my very presence. Didn't help me sort out anything with my rental, and I had to figure it out myself. It looks more like it's the guys hangout away from home and left the cash flow in without any work. The van had German roaches and I was so grossed out that by the time I noticed I just turned around to return it. I had driven a number of miles already, so they still charged me full price even though I didn't use it to move anything.

RAFAEL BTerrible experience with one positive customer service experience. First, those of us who choose UH do it for value and speed. The trouble started when I received a message a few hours before that my schedule van was unavailable at the location I chose. Without the option to pick at a location closer to my move, which saved on mileage and time, my van was now at a location that was further and difficult to get to due to Miami traffic patterns. I get to the van and found the mobile app check in process unreliable. Everything just froze when I attempted to upload photos. Then, the equipment I ordered, funiture dolly and utility dolly, weren’t in the van. Once I started to drive the vehicle the low tire pressure light comes on, and then I see a dirty roach (not the big scary outside ones) crawling in the van!!!! All but one tire had adequate tire pressure. And now I’m wondering did I make a mistake. It’s after hours for the stores and now I can’t begin my move because I don’t have the right equipment to move heavy boxes and my sofa sectional. I called customer service on my way home with the van to report all these issues, and was told I would have to call the location I picked up the van the next morning to address issue with them and/or find another UH and start a new reservation for the funiture and utility dolly. The following morning, I call the location I got the van from and the phone kept going to voicemail. Then I drove around to find a closer UH store, which when I found one they told me that I couldn’t get a reservation for a dolly without a truck rental. Then, after I told them customer service didn’t say that, that they were out of stock on the dolly I needed. I called customer service again, and thankfully was assisted by a wonderful customer service manager who located a funiture dolly, which was the most important item I needed. It was again further away but I had no other way to move forward with my move, which was already delayed. The worse part was that I needed to extend the van rental, which costed more money due to mileage and the additional day. I wasn’t happy at all. I’m still waiting on my refund for the utility dolly which I never recieved. The final mobile return process was again no functioning. It was difficult to navigate the app and it froze! I got to the location early, because it said the business was open. It wasn’t. So I didn’t have a chance to share my poor experience in person or get help with the return van process due to the app freezing. My friends, you have a product that is very helpful in this difficult financial days. I feel like things should have been better. We get what we pay for, but that shouldn’t mean we don’t get what we were promised per the agreement. Friends, do better please.

MARCOS SI make the reservation thru you web site and for anyone that is not too savvy it could be a problems with so many steps to follow, also when I did the check out on the app was keep asking about the return so I end up calling you guys just to confirm that what I did was correct, on the prize you guys needs to work on that specially when I cound get a flat rate with your competition, I was looking to pay 42 plus and I belive I end up paying 72 plus for just few hours other them that everything went weel, the person at the location was excelent and professional ...

THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE ALWAYS GO TO A CELLPHONE VOICE MAIL THEY DO NOT HAVE HOURS OF OPERATIONS CORRECTLY WAS THERE FOR MORE THAN 45 MIN WAITING TO BE HELPED THEY NEVER ARRIVED TO OPEN THE PREMISES WITH EQUIPMENT AND THEY NEVER EVEN RETURNED MY CALLS BUT THEY DID CHARGE MY ACCOUNT FOR EXTRA GAS LIKE THEY WERE THERE TO HELP ME RETURN THE EQUIPMENT AND ALL THAT!!

Roberto SU-Haul is not a place I’d rent a truck ever again from the location. I went to to pick the truck up was not safe and the person there was very unhelpful. I didn’t get any information on my receipt of what I was renting. I was charged for four days. I only use the truck for one day, which I completely feel I was ripped off, and the truck itself was in poor shape, it barely could get above 60 miles an hour which the roads for driving on were 70 so definitely not a company that is out to take care of the customer out to rip the customer off. It is one of the worst companies I’ve dealt with in a long time , they also tried to are trying to charge me more money for gas that claiming the tank was half full when the tank out of the truck was at a quarter so I would say they get a one out of 10 for quality of service a one out of 10 for the truck they provided and I would suggest finding a different company to rent from and not ever use U-Haul ever ever ever

Dennis KPickup instructions unclear and the website portal says to grab and go trailer do online form and submit through the app, while there is no front desk or any help with the location. There is not a lot of signage at all and warehouse space is empty, warehouse next-door said to go to the second floor but all the doors are locked, had to call the guy after the fact couldn't ever find him or face to face.
Marco BWe wanted to use mobile pick up but couldn’t they didn’t give us a code to get the key so then we had to wait about 10 minutes till the guy got there to give us a key after my reservation was moved from 7am to 8am! then he says they didn’t have furniture dollies never do yet you can select it! Cargo van didn’t feel very well kept either! Not a good experience
