Facility did not open up until 1000 even though my rental was from 0930. The U-Haul representative that confirmed my reservation the previous day assured me this facility would be open at the time I had scheduled it to rent. My apartment complex only gave three hours to move that day and that's why I needed it at no later than 1000. I didn't drive away with the vehicle until 1025. I was making the move by myself had a a lot items to load up. Three hours was not enough and every minute counted. The vehicle was handed to me with nearly an empty tank. It was at 1/8 of a tank yet the initial contract stated it was at 1/4. Furthermore, the vehicle had the "check engine" light throughout the entire rental. Luckily, I only had to drive not more than 20 miles. I made sure I took picture of the instrument panel showing the 1/8 tank and caution light which I am happy to share if requested. The interior of the vehicle, both the cabin and bed were dirty and not previously cleaned by the previous customer nor the staff. The cabin had a used-up dried up marker, a plastic bag, a used-up crumpled up adhesive tape, and the wooden stick from a consumed icicle pop. The bed was a few pieces of paper and had not been swept. Mind you, I found all this out once I got to my place of moving. I was in a big hurry to move and only noticed the aforementioned items in the cabin. I had a deadline and I could not afford to lose any more time and refuse to accept the vehicle in its condition. When I returned the truck, I made sure I got rid of the trash in the cabin and the general waste that was previously left behind because I didn't want to pay $25 for someone else's negligence. Overall, I would not rent from this location.

No one was there. Had to drop off in the key in UHaul nigh box, that was around 3:30pm.
David MOnline says it opens at 10am, no one got there until 10:40am. The phone number listed online is not in service so it’s impossible to get in touch with them. When the person showed up 40 min late he had me talk to someone on the phone to check out the truck I rented. Limited parking when you return the truck and if you double block a truck you’ll get fined. TERRIBLE PLACE
Marco BI don't usually write reviews, but this experience pushed me to. I want to start with the positive: the Fort Lauderdale location where I picked up was excellent. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the employee who helped me, but they were fantastic, professional, and friendly, making the hookup as smooth and easy as possible. If this review were just about that location, it'd be five stars. The Miami drop-off was the complete opposite. As a business owner myself, I know what good customer service looks like, and almost nothing about this experience came close. The facility sits on a very narrow road in a confined, cramped area, and there wasn't enough room for me to back the trailer in. There's no signage and no designated spot to drop a trailer or contact anyone. A van was blocking the only space, and I ended up having to park on the road with my hazards on while I went looking for someone. While doing that, I was yelled at by someone not even a U-Haul employee for not parking in the right place, even though there was nowhere else to go without blocking the road. When I finally tracked down the employee in the office, I asked him to move the van so I'd have room. It turned out he didn't have a driver's license and couldn't move it, so I had to take the keys and move the van myself just to create space to drop off my own trailer. After that, he disappeared. I checked the trailer in myself with all the photos, and since I had no one to hand it to, I left the wiring extension (given to me in Fort Lauderdale) hanging on the door handle. I never saw him again. I typically hold U-Haul in high regard, which is exactly why this was so disappointing. The location is poorly suited for drop-offs, the service was unacceptable, and frankly, I would only suggest this location to my worst enemy.
Caleb PNot enough parking spaces at the moment of the return.
