The lady behind the counter that helped me was extremely curt and short tempered with me. I was a long standing customer and have rented numerous trucks for my company and I was told I did not know what I was doing. I was misquoted the price of insurance on the truck and then told that if I brought the truck back after hours and didn't register it on the website that I would be liable for any damages, gas shortages due to theft and so on. Even though I had paid for the added insurance and the truck was parked on the Uhaul lot. When I asked what good the insurance was then she didn't answer me. I also mentioned that I had rented there for years and had never been asked to walk around the truck and verify how the truck looked since I paid for the extra insurance. Her response was that I was asked but I didn't do it. This is not true. I have never been asked to personally inspect a truck and download photos of it. I was basically called a liar by your staff and I will never rent a truck there again. And if you are going to have customers pay for insurance that covers everything then why bother with the pictures. And include the back of the truck and the inside of the cab on that part. The cab of my truck was never wiped out cleaned or sanitized. And there wasn't even a spot to note that. Come on this is Covid! #nevercomingbackJOANNA L.

Used 24/7 app for pickup at 7am. Parking lot was dark with minimal lighting. Could not find truck numbers. Could not see damage x stickers. Very difficult process. Will not do it again. At turn in the app would not accept mileage so I used staff to complete. They were great.Brian D.

Didn't explain price well or I would have rented a trailer. Alarm came on in heavy traffic letting me know that passenger door was ajar ( we had been driving for twenty minutes already. None of the receptacles worked so that I could keep my cell phone charged. Vehicle was dirty with trash all over under seats and debris and rocks in cargo area.SHERYL W.

Could not return truck. Closed Christmas Eve. Website would not cooperate. I am computer tech at office so this is rare. After 43 minutes on the phone with 3 different people. Last person said I would be liable and only thing last 2 people could do is send me instructions on how to check in online. I was even madder after wasting 45 minutes of trying to get truck returned. Finally last person said sorry only thing is I can send you back to the department that transferred me to her. Location was excellent as well as truck. The vehicle was well maintained and I don't blame them for the dirty floors in the van. It's Washington, and it rains. I am happy that it was dry mud. Or I would have been unhappy about moving my belongings. Otherwise phenomenal experience. The interaction I did have with the girl inside for the key. She was extremely polite, professional and friendly. 1st time doing the mobile experience and I was grateful due to Covid and social distancing.Eric M.

I am not impressed by a business that trys to steal pennies because they can. The recorded mileage was one mile wrong at pickup. I made them aware. They stole $1.19 from me. The also guessed the fuel higher. I took a picture, they stole another $8.00. A little over $9.00 kind petty. It shows the character of the management.....Sad!!!KENNETH HARDING D.
My unit smelled like wet basement when we were given the unit. I probably should have asked for another unit, but since they are all outdoor, I assumed they all smelled the same. I only needed the storage for one month, so I placed my items there, and a month later when I came to take my stuff, I had condensate on the hard surfaces (plastic containers) and the boxes were damp. All my stuff had that wet basement smell, but I unpacked all my boxes at home pretty quickly within a few days, so did not discover any damage (like mold) yet. My stuff was there only for one month, and I would not recommend to use this storage facility for longer than a month, as there is no climate control or even some sort of ventilation or dehumidifier installed in those units, and the bottom of the units sit directly on the ground.irina p. | Overall Experience

This review will be followed by a letter to UHaul because of the completely unpleasant & challenging experience it was. The truck was dirty when I picked it up. It had items in the cab from the last customer. It was a local rental, and I informed the reps on the phone before I picked up the truck, as well as when I picked it up, that I would need an extra day. Both times, they said fine but would charge me for an add'l day. After I drove home, I got a call from a "Tisha" informing me that I had to have the truck back by the next day. I informed her, as well, that an add'l day would be required & that I was told it was ok. She said the local reps should not have given me the truck, scolded me, then hung up on me. The following day, when I called to check on the add'l day, the rep informed me that the record had been flagged by Tisha to NOT allow the extra day. Also, that the truck would be considered STOLEN. She contacted the local dealer and was able to secure the extension. After returning the truck, I was billed $125 for CLEANING. I was beside myself. Seems to me that charge was retaliation for standing up to them, and making them follow through on their assurances. I suppose that I got someone into trouble by escalating the issue, and the thought they could get back at me by charging the $125. I am completely disgusted with your company, and will in the future use Penske or Budget...even if they cost more.Phillip C.

The uhaul employees were great ! However the truck was just a little beat up and needs some maintenance work for example there's a severe exhaust lead. So loss of power and had to spend more on gas ! Also drivers door does not close completely so wind whistle for 600 miles.Daniel C.

After calling about availability before hand and arriving within 30 minutes to pick up a trailer - it had already been rented out. Told to go down the street. Picked up a truck- 20 minutes of waiting - informed about 4 per gallon charge but not $30 fee. Went from original quote of $34.95 to bill of $145.93. Called office told to call customer service. Called customer service- told that they â€œshould have done...â€ absolutely NOT satisfied with service or answer. Will NEVER recommend Uhaul or use again. Product was fine people didn't care about service or customer at all.Stacy M.

There was take out in the cab of the uhaul that wasn't ours. And we tried turning the truck in virtually and the app wasn't working so we had to pay the $25 cleaning fee because we couldn't prove it was clean.Kimberly N.
This location was good but the one prior (12 and L Tacoma)to here that we tried to use was useless and rude. Our reservation process on the phone and then dealing with the first location was a nightmare. So bad we had to get a hotel because we couldn't get a trailer the day we needed it. I will really try not to use Uhaul in the future because of this experience.Jason B.

Not sure why the female young employee was exempt from wearing a mask in the office by the front counter. Both coming in to rent and return... no mask no attempt at it. The male employee pulled up a mask both times I came in. So is it a state regulation to wear it or not? Just asking!!!SCOTT M.
