I pulled into the station to return the truck at 7:55pm. By the time the process was finished, with truck inspection and all, it was 8:15pm. They clocked me out at 8:15 and charged me for an extra day. Didn't like that.

The back of the van had some dirt/debris but I was able to cover it with towels. Over all a great and easy rental experience. I will be back!

The online process was confusing and the dependency between the online system and the hours of operation of the station (my pickup time was 8:00 pm and the u-haul store was supposed to close at that time too) made it for unnecessary escalation and delays.
Employee at Exxon in Vienna, Va, was excellent. Very professional and helpful when my initial tries to check-in via phone proved difficult. Check-in and check-out process very quick and efficient.
Probably one of my worst experiences with reservations and check-ins. Not so because of the people there— the people were amazing. It's the app. The U-haul app is such a poorly made app, it's unbelievable. There are countless bugs in the app and issues with uploading and loading. It will often ask for the same information repetitively and then ask to create an account while already signed in. As a student studying computer science, I'm genuinely appalled at the lack of professionalism in this app. It feels as though it were made as a draft, not a final app. Very user-unfriendly too. In addition, the app doesn't even match what some stores say to do. I noticed that our location elected to things there own way because the app's check in takes way too long and too tedious to complete. We are coming here to reserve a vehicle, not to debug the company's app. Very disappointing... If not for the people who work at this location and the actual quality of the truck, I would not return
