There was stuff in the passenger side of the cab on the floor. The cab stunk I almost got sick. For some reason the app was not reading my location so it took me two hours just to get the truck. This post me to be moving my furniture in the pouring rain. Then it wouldn't read my location for the return. The actual mileage when I picked it up was 56704.3. What exactly 20 miles on the truck not 20.3. If I had been able to rent the U-Haul from the Lakewood location, it would've been a few miles less.CONNIE C.

Registered for a truck and initially there wasn't one available. Was able to locate a truck, but this issue delayed moving.Rachel H.

The truck needed maintenance. When beginning to drive it seemed I had a flat tire but not the case. I am sure it needs to be aligned or diagnostic check. I had reserved the truck from the Columbus store weeks in advance. I was called on Friday around 5 pm and told I needed to pick up the truck somewhere else because another customer extended their rental. I was told I would get a 10 mile credit ho front. The app/pick up process was very difficult and took about an hour. It kept telling me my reservation was expired even though it was within the time frame I had reserved it for. I was then on hold with customer service for about 20 minutes and they were not able to help and had to transfer to another department which had me on hold again for another 20 minutes. It was very frustrating in the moment. Once we got the truck everything was great. It was very clean and easy to drive and load. The return process was smootherRebecca W.

I LET HER KNOW THAT IT WAS COOL & TO TAKE HER TIME.... I RATHER IT TAKE A LONG TIME AND EVERYTHING BE RIGHT THAN FOR IT TO BE FAST SERVICE WITH A LOT OF MISTAKES.... I returned the equipment early (after hours) and the company just returned it with an incorrect date. I am due a credit on my account and the drop off representative will not change the date because they were closed at the time. I contacted U-Haul customer service and it is noted on the contract the date and time I returned the equipment. This has been a horrific event dealing with this issue.eric W.
Reserving the trailer was easy. When I went to pick it up, however, things got difficult. Someone's nephew was running the place. He was about 20 and really had no idea what he was doing. He was, however, very nice. He messed up the transaction and had to redo it. He was not very knowledgeable about how to hook up the trailer.William J.

Become better organized and prepared to process customer rental actions. Assist with loading dollies, blankets, etc.. in the truck rather than just piling it up inside the entrance, and have all of the equipment that was requested in the online reservation. This was the worst Uhaul rental experience I have had in our last 3 moves. Was seriously considering Penske prior to this move, and after this experience was really wishing I had gone with the Penske truck.Travis G.
Make sure u give better explanation and correct information far as rates.. We had uhaul from 3 until 7 am net morning.. Rental fees was 39.95...why u charge my dad 180.00..and employee argue that this is correct.. Spike with Lisa from uhaul she looked at invoice say u can loom and see IRS not right and type info to a manager.. I been waiting all day for a manager and haven't heard back from them yet.. When I brought the uhaul back I was over charged. I was charged double, I explained to the lady that I was over charged and she said that was the correct price because of the mileage. I only traveled about 8 miles at the most. Finally worth me explaining to her that this was totally wrong, she called someone and they explained what she had done wrong and then she gave me the correct amount back.Erica S.

Hours not posted on building or online had to call uhaul as I got there a bit earlier then my drop off time only to find out they were closed. Was stuck there for an hour as the employees had children running around and kept calling someone else to figure out what it was they needed to do & my credit card is showing the additional charges pending twice.
