Make the process faster. I have rented very frequently and by now there should be a record of my vehicle, insurance, and preferences. But every time I have to give ALL of the same info to the person checking me in.

The trailer worked great, no problems what so ever! The trailer was readybto roll once the staff hitched it up and checked all lighting.

Everything was good with U-Haul. The only concern we had was the key got stuck in the ignition and the battery died. But other than that, everything else was fine.

The checking process itself was quick and easy. In order to locate a rep you have to follow the signs through a door to a hangar garage where it always smells of heavy cigarette smoke. The rep was sitting there smoking when I walked in but at least put it out when I walked back.

This location was not the closest, I tried to change location to one that was closer but was told that it was not available. The location I went to was fantastic, the people were very helpful and fun. I enjoyed the Falwell Airport- I recommend it.

What was disappointing was the fact that although we were renting a cargo trailer, there was no mention about the size of the ball! At the time of securing the reservation, the size should have been mentioned.

There is no real check - in counter, just a messy desk in the back of an aircraft hanger. The person there was smoking and the place stank. They only had one trailer available, no trucks. Check - in was reasonably fast and the trailer was in good shape. The young guy who whhked up the trailer did a good job and was very polite and professional.

The cabin of the truck smelled like someone had been smoking in there for years not just once. I wiped down the seats and steering wheel with disinfectant wipes and they were filthy. The box of the truck smelled like farm animals were transported in it. The engine light went on halfway through my 500 mile drive. Oil was low and I realized the gear shift was kicking when slowing down as well so something was going on with the transmission. Needless to say I made it to my destination but not with confidence. There was obviously a neglect of maintenance with the vehicle. I will use another rental company next time.

The hitch is heavy and it would be sooo helpful to have a hand cranked lift like on most utility trailers. I could not disconnect the trailer from my truck due to the strength needed to lift the hitch off the ball.

I reserved the trailer for TIMBERLAKE U-haul which was 5 minutes for where I needed it! Only to get an e-mail the night before telling me I now have to go 20 minutes down the road(the way I will travel home) and then go back and get the car I was towing! The guy at Falwell airport was friendly and helpful.. after hooking trailer up only to find out a turning light wouldn’t work he got me squared away with another one. Total time wasted in driving and getting trailer..1 hour.

This was our second attempt to drop off. The first location (Park Street, Lynchburg) wasn’t helpful at all. They were filled and simply sent us on our way. Met us when we pulled in and said, “We don’t have any room, take it over to …. Falwell Airport”. So, we did. I’m sure they can’t be to blame because they were full and no space to part the return. After 10 hrs. Traveling, it wasn’t the welcome I was hoping for. Just all part of the day!

Uhaul repair person picked up truck, we refused to drive the truck any further so we don't know about this place

Very old (and abused) 5x8 trailer in poor shape. Door "lock" failed and allowed door to open in transit; lesson learned - door needs to be locked for more than just anti-theft.

Helpful This is a comment at all the locations and corporate policy. As a Compliance officer, I have a grave concern with the devices used to capture PII in the driver's license. Please get back with me to help me understand how these devices are uncompromised/secure.

The drop location is a great business. Just don't trust uhaul to care about you as a customer. Their moto is to let the customer solve uhaul’s problems of not having reserved equipment at the location you chose to pick it up from.

This place doesn’t answer the phone number published on the website or in any search online. We NEEDED to speak to them and it took hours of calling and chatting with Uhaul to get a phone number for them. Once I finally spoke to someone he was very nice, but they need to answer their uhaul line!

Truck tires looked worn and needed replacement. Truck also feels like wheel alignment is off.. some fishtailing. Rep. Actually followed me for about 5 or 6miles becuz he noticed some pull. Checked it and then followed me another 3 or 4 miles to make sure it was ok. Great rep!

Staff wasn't very helpful in terms of teaching how to hitch/unhitch. Tried calling several times to make an appointment to pre-check the vehicle as well as to evaluate what hitch ball/receiver tube height I would need. Never answered the phone. Stopped by several days in advance to see if someone could give me the information, and staff was barely willing to help or give me any information. Had to google what height I would need and go to a separate shop to get the right riser. Day of they did however, quickly attach the trailer for me and check in was smooth. Novice trailer renters beware.
