My only "complaint" is that the truck we rented was not available for the location we wanted and therefore we had to go out of our way (about an hour) to pick it up. Trucks should be where promised.

this site was out of way for pickup. your employee was late showing up. there was a uhaul site that was just 2 miles from where I was loading, but I was sent to this one which was much further away. with more than a week in advance reservation, you would think you could have been more accommodating



I wish you would just build the insurance in to the cost and tell everyone you do it to protect the client. Every time I rent from Uhaul, it seems like a scam to have to add insurance because of the fear you place in the event something happens. At least pick up the insurance for a trailer.

Arrived at the appointment time, no one there. Called the 800 number, was on hold for 10 minutes, male answered, gave him information, he put me back on hold. 15 minutes later, I hung up, called number again, and got a female, she had me search the cab for the keys, no keys. Then she asked if lock box anywhere, found one in the building airlock, got key. Almost an hour of my time wasted.

This was not the location I selected. It was across town by a local airport. When I got there, they did not have the correct number of furniture pads I reserved and were completely missing the dolly I reserved. The truck also didn't have enough gas for the trip I was going to make so I had to fill it up. Overall, between the extra distance and the refilling, I ended up being an hour late meeting the movers back at my apartment. The person who rented me the truck also told me that if I returned it with more gas than it had, they would issue me a credit. When I returned the truck, they told me that wasn't true, but eventually refunded me some of the gas money as a courtesy. U-haul did call me back about this but just said that this is the way it works.

Not a thing! David Williams was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We lost a reservation in Manassas Park. At the last minute our reservation was ‘moved’ to Maryland from Virginia??? We found the Falwell Airport location to be EXCELLENT!! But, your after hours support sucks. YOU NEED A NEW LOCAL SUPPORT SYSTEM. People that know the region of the rental locations. Seriously, I am PMP customer service expert, and honestly you have a problem with your reservation support system. Go local or you may not be #1 for long. And thanks to the Falwell Airport team, for their great service!!! We had almost given up and borrowed a family trailer 4 hours away.

I was very disappointed with the service we received. After scheduling a pickup location 2 weeks in advance, we receive an email at 10pm the night before moving, saying that our truck was located in a town almost 2 hours away from us. Thinking this had to have been a mistake, we arrived to the location we made the reservation for, where there was the size truck we needed sitting there, and were denied our truck for moving. After hours of calling around and searching, with no luck finding another large truck, we had decided to settle on picking up a smaller truck that evening. Three hours after our original pickup time of 8am, we called uhaul to reserve a truck for that evening or the following day. After being told by them several times there was no 26ft available in our area that day, all of a sudden there was one available. We ended up finally picking up the 26ft that had been sitting at the place we went to first that morning, where our reservation originally was. When we asked what happened, no one could give us an answer. According the guy working at the pick up site, there was another reservation for that truck at 9 am, which apparently was there one minute and kicked out of the system the next. I don't blame this guy, however. It was a huge mix up and mistake on Uhaul's part, which cost us several hours, able bodied movers, and a lot of headache. And of course, no one at Uhaul cares enough to actually apologize or remedy the situation. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them anymore. Which I'm sure they don't care about either.

The location is great and people are helpful HOWEVER I am sick of Uhaul hidden fees and unorganization at the cooperate level. This is the third time things were not communicated to me/equipment was unavailable/my order was messed up. You would think with a company as big as uhaul the computers would be able to reserve equipment ACTUALLY present at the store... or even know what’s available. I will likely not be using uhaul again and telling all of my friends to choose another company instead.

I have rented several times as well as family and friends. No one really gets what they ask for even when reservations are made days in advance. You should not call people the day before to tell them to go to another location for pick up. Having to stop immediately for gas because the fuel is low. So it wasnt the location the rep was awesome.

I did a self check in at 7am because the Location did not open until 8am, and there was an issue with the self check in that told me it couldn’t verify and I had to wait until the location opened up at 8am, which was very frustrating because I did not live close by. Thankfully I was able to call and they helped me out.
