First off the place was way out of the way, in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't my initial pickup spot and I found out after several hours of trying to get in contact with UHaul that the original location was closed…for unknown reasons. I did not not feel safe and would have cancelled my reservation had my boyfriend not been there. Second, when I was finally able to get someone on the phone the first time, they made the switch for the pick-up location but failed to communicate effectively how far out the new location was. When I reached out again to ask more questions, after waiting for 15 minutes, I was hung up on before I could finish asking my questions. Finally, I completed the online check-in which was supposed to cut the time down only to have to go through the whole process again in office. After this experience, I doubt I'll use your services again or recommend them.

They were working on Sunday which turned out to be the day i really needed the truck so thank you!! Mostly good except we had no cold air conditioning during the hot part of the day & the driver door was a little dirty. Besides that it was good. Lovely store & nice ladies working.

Uhaul truck was rented out with low air in rear left tire. The sensor on the dash lit up the next morning and I had to get AAA to put more air in tire. It was at 55psi and was supposed to be at 80! The truck was fairly clean. Fuel was at 3/4 tank so I did have to get more before hitting the road.

The overall experience was horrendous! The original pick up location was closed, fesulting in an addition 20 drive the opposite direction to pick up...Ferguson clerk and equipment. Codition were only positives.?.then on drop off there was NO 24HR DROP OFF....waited for OVER 30 min to hear back from someone authorizing drop off...VERY DISAPPOINTED

This pickup location is inconvenient for residents in Asheville. The hostess made me feel accosted when I refused the U-HAUL insurance. She also set a U-HAUL return location in an inconvenient area that could not be changed.

For some reason, the UHaul drop off was scheduled to be 17 miles from the closest U-Haul dealer. Not recomended.

The location was not prepared for a return of equipment. Staff was away from the location. I checked in my truck by telephone. The location was in the middle of nowhere. I chose it because I was dropping off my cargo in Clyde. The two locations were at least 20 miles apart. I should have chosen better and would never chose this location again.

U-Haul head quarters did not notify me that my location changed from Jonathon Creek to Clyde. U-Haul customer service did not resolve my issue or communicate that my location changed to me the night before as it should as stated in the electronic contract.

Drove 1.5hrs on the back of my buddy's motorcycle, through the mountains, to this remote location to pick up a 15' truck. The place said we don't have a 15' foot truck here and called dispatch. After waiting an additional hour, I had no choice other than take a 26' truck to travel 900 miles home. I had to pay extra insurance for the larger truck. The fuel bill was around $400, a huge added expense. It was a terrible experience.

Pick-up location was an utter disaster. Ensure when an agent says they have a vehicle that is actually is there. Prevent the customer from wasting time and driving from one place to another in search of a vehicle. This snafu costed us $401 as the movers sat around for 3 hours doing nothing while we searched for a vehicle. Even tho we had called the day before to confirm the vehicle was available at the first pick-up location.

I called and filed a complaint because my original pickup location in Canton wasn't even open for me to pick up the truck. It was a HORRIBLE experience. It cost me a lot more money and time. I NEVER had any resolution for my aggravation. I don't feel that I was compensated for my aggravation, time or money. To top things off, I didn't even get a truck with a full tank of gas, yet I was expected to pay for a full tank, which I did. I can't believe how horrible of an experience this was!!

The location was great but there were issues picking up the item. The servers were down with uhaul and whoever we talked to at Uhaul was very rude and I ended up wasting about a hour of time and could not pick up the truck. I was then called asking why I was late to getting my truck and that uhaul rep was very rude as well. I had to explain to her that her own companies servers were down. I was then made to drop off the truck at the same time I was scheduled to pick it up, when I couldn't get the truck for over 4 hours late. So I essentially lost 5 hours of use of the truck! Not impressed with uhaul over this.

Would highly not recommend using this service period. I was up charged on a 26 foot truck when I was told that I was getting it for the price of a 10 foot. The staff at the Clyde location was very arrogant and unprofessionally. He at one point asked for my credit card and Id and never gave them back and made a comment about not making any money because I prepaid for the truck and then up charged me. DO NOT BUY HERE. I will never use UHAUL again because of their service.

Originally I reserved an open 5x8 trailer from the S Asheville location. They would not let that trailer go out one way even though I had reserved it online. They told me there was one in Clyde, NC 50 minutes away one way from where I was headed. I arrived at this location and was basically told that I had to take a box enclosed trailer, they too did not want to let the open trailer go one way. What a complete sham your reservation system is, if I had ANY other option to rent a trailer I would have, and I will not use Uhaul if at all possible ever again. Ferguson Supply was polite, and I understood their situation, but the overall system is flawed.

After filling out all our info online it still took 45 mins to check out.After repeatedly trying to check out the trailer it turns out the trailer was listed as overdue due to the fact that they hadn't bothered to check in the trailer when it had been returned. This delay caused us to lose the man we had hired to load our trailer at our storage unit. This location was also out of the way for us.

Every time I rent with U-Haul, I end up having to drive to a second or third location to pick up the equipment I ordered. This time the first location was supposed to be open from 1-4 on a Sunday. I arrived at 1:30 and the gate was chained and locked. No answer on either phone number, no voice mail available. I called Uhaul customer service, which did secure another trailer for me but it would be 40 miles round trip to get it. My moving help was standing around getting paid for nothing as I chased down an available trailer. Once I found the location, way, way out in the most rural of all places in NC, the person that processes the orders had already left for the day. I waited over an hour to get my trailer, and then had to drive all the way back to my house. Needles to say, it put me WAY behind on my loading. I swear I will never rely on Uhaul again, and I have used them probably 20 times in the last 30 years.
