If you're not going to be able to supply a customer when an item like a dolly is unavailable and the customer calls 2 hours ahead to make sure everything is copacetic, it would be good business to tell them then. Also, trying to get away with not printing out a receipt (equipment contract) for a one-way truck because he didn't want to figure out the problem was not confidence-inspiring.

Charles TWhen seeing the MAJOR damage to the truck & trying to get them marked with the X stickers by the dealer he refused stated I paid for the insurance he will file it on there as he has before, filing insurance claims on same damages multiple times is fraud! After video and recording of conversation I called uhaul 800 number explained EVERYTHING they insisted I keep the video for future claims that he will be filing.

Lee PWhen I made the reservation, I tried to change the drop-off time because I knew that I wouldn't have it back by the next morning at 10am. I told the person at the desk about this and he said that as long as I had it back by 3pm, I wouldn't be charged for another day. This was incorrect, I was charged for another day. They also didn't have the furniture dolly I reserved, so I had to buy one at Lowe's. They charged me for a utility dolly and furniture pads automatically for some reason, I called U-haul and had them refund this amount.

Nola NThe mileage was not accurate on our vehicle when compared to the paperwork. The manager was “unable” to check us back in, bus assured us that he would get it handled. I contacted uhaul by number to inform them of what was going on, but I still received an email about needing to return my uhaul? Haven’t seen any new charges on my account yet, but time will tell if he truly didn’t know what he was doing it if he was trying to con us.

Stephen GWhen the customer picks up the trailer, need to have staff be the ones to attach the trailer to the customer's truck; not the customer. And the same on the return. The inability of the business to modify the bill to reduce of a service not provided, and have the customer deal directly with U-Haul for the refund is not good. If this is a software problem out of the business ability, then U-Haul must address.

He gave me a two day rental with one day being the fourth of July. He could have given me at least a 3 day renral because his actions caused a huge problem once I got to Louisiana because apparently its ok for Tiffany at picou construction company to be intimidating and awfully rude to customers. Also return place was ridiculously misunderstood being that there is a picou's building supply in Gonzales as well. I would never ever recommend uhaul. Im going with budget or penske should i ever need to next time.

Fortunately, I called and found out. These sites are not that close together and it would have been very inconvenient if I had first gone to the original pick up site.

Patrice MI reserved a motorcycle trailer and was told to pick it up here, everything was a go. Sorry to say that was not the case at all. Uhals lack of communication as a company is humorous at best. The man Steve at the Firestone was a huge help. Wish the same could be said about you guys.
Denver MProvide clean equipment. Rental truck that I was provided had 135,000 and was rode hard and put away wet. Truck was filthy when I got it on the inside cab, smelled of smoke.

James TPersonnel charged me twice for the truck even though I told him I already paid two weeks ago. UHaul customer service had to help the store where I picked up the car transporter before I could rent the car transporter.

He could have come outside or gotten somebody to help my girlfriend and I hook up the trailer but he didn't. He just gave us the paperwork and said here you go. It would've been nice to have an extra hand because my girlfriend couldn't help lift up the tongue of that big trailer. Also, the guy was late. I understand that we were a little early but he wasn't even there by 9. He was about 15 min late. Overall not a good experience. I won't return to this location. What needs to be improved is the customer service. When wrapping up with a customer simply ask them "Is there anything I can do to help?" or "Any questions that you might have?" Go the extra mile, not just enough to get by. I just paid you $300 so it'd be nice to have a little better service than what I received.

Jefferson HWe need more trailers available in our requested area. Our first request was Oxford, MS and we were told that we would have to drive an extra hour north of Oxford to Memphis, TN. Our 2nd requested pick up location was Pascagoula, MS and we had to drive to Gautier, MS to pick up which was not on the way to our destination. It was 30 miles out of the way and we were told to return it there instead of a closer Uhaul location. We were happy to get it, but convenience was not their priority.

BYRON HPickup location was changed from online reservation. A charge for insurance was added which I didn't want. Trailer was dented badly, no mention of this pre-existing damage was made to me. Person at pick-up desk made no attempt to be helpful.
MIKE PNo copy of contract was given to me. He didnt tell me a time to return it. So i owed another 60.00. Was not very friendly. Told him i was paying early and not picking up til 4 he put i picked up at 9:30 am. Just lied
LISA AVery friendly and knowledgeable staff at this location( Firestone of Gautier). Spoke with another location in the area and the lady was very short with me and had a terrible attitude. Would never have rented from there. The u-haul equipment worked well as usual with no problems. Would definitely recommend Firestone of Gautier to anyone needing a u-haul.

Had we known we was being charged for 2 days we would of kept it till Monday to use more. Not happy about that part of the contract.
