Waited over ten minutes as the employee was repeatedly called to the desk. When the employee got there he started to tell me how “I could have made it alot easier if I had used the app to check in the equipment. Waited another ten minutes for him to finally come outside and simply do his job. Absurd.

Vanessa NWe were 3 hours late and they charged me for a whole other day The truck leaked really bad and took an extra day to dry stuff off We were really late getting it back to begin with but shouldn’t have charged a whole day for 3 hours late And another thing We were charged for more miles than we actually drove It was supposed to be 29.99 per day???? They charged 40.00 per day So a lot of misinformation Wouldn’t do that again
Kathleen BI picked the unit up at 5pm on Sunday and returned it at 11am on tue and still had to pay for 5 days. Now you can rent out the unit again while I’m still technically paying for it and double dip. It sucks you don’t have a daily rate. As well, the dude at the rental place was fairly uneducated as to who to call or what to do if has problems and seemed just somewhat disinterested in helping…
John RThe truck I reserved was not there. Two reservations were taken for the same truck. Had this not been a small in town move this would have been a serious issue. I wasn't happy.

Chenin BIt's a grocery store that opens up at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. I arrive shortly after anticipating dropping the trailer off before I had to go to work. Turns out nobody is there that knows how to check in a U-Haul vehicle. So I had to tow the trailer another 50 MI turn around I'm driving another 50 mi back. And do this all within the 24 hour.

Travis JTrailer was caked with mud. I had the trailer for 9 days, returning it on 03/31/24 at 8:15am. The store was closed. I went into the store today (04/01/24), the first day it was open again, and told two different people that I had returned the trailer on 03/31. However, I was charged for the extra day (a total of 10 days) even though I did not have possession of the trailer for the last day. It is not fair that I would have to pay extra for a day because the store was closed. They are certainly free to take a holiday, but I should not be charged extra because they were not available to process my return. They have cameras. Simply looking at the video would easily verify when the trailer was returned. I probably won't use them again, and will think twice before I use U-Haul again.
Paul BI asked three times for a specific drop off location and clerk did what she wanted to do regardless of what I asked for. The truck was filthy dirty and I had to ask him to sweep it out. Inside of cab had mud caked on floor mats and I had to use whisk broom to sweep it out. This is totally unacceptable and I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Leah WCan't think of a THING! The lady working the counter was AWESOME! My phone was acting up as we were trying to take pics of my Driver's license and she ended up using her OWN phone to transmit the information! Made a "trying" time turn smooth and easy! Great job! The young man that hooked up the trailer is also a valuable asset to your company! The trailer was fine, pulled GREAT and served out purpose well!

Matt NI’m mad I have to pay a cleaning fee! When I received my rental it was disgusting. I took many pictures for proof. I honestly don’t want to rent with uhaul anymore if this is how it will be. I received a dirty and very filthy truck, but I have to pay for it to get clean. Makes no sense. The people who had it before me should be ashamed with the way they left it.

Gene MThe vehicle I rented had less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas, had a very dirty interior and the battery died after I drove it off the lot about a mile away. When I called to see what could be done about the battery I was told to call 1-800-uhaul and there was nothing they could do to help me out. I was on a time schedule that particular day and would have appreciated a little help.
Ian MThe young man at this location, like the gentleman at the Mobile location had to deal with the mess the Leakesville location created by failing to do their job.. He was very professional. Did what needed to be done, etc. My rental cost me an additional $10 at check in again due to the mess that started my rental process... I paid the $10 and told the gentleman to have a wonderful day.. Again the drama that began with the Leakesville Dealership failing to do their jobs is NO reflection if this young man nor this dealership's handling of the situation... I really wish I could write a review about the Leakesville Dealership - that would not be as "glowing" as these unless you count a dumpster fire as glowing..
