Don was exceptionally helpful with enabling me to get a truck. In addition, when I incurred a difficulty with my iphone concerning an IT issue, the Uhaul representative I called on 833-399-0504 delivered exemplary customer service and resolved my issue. THANK YOU UHAUL!!

when I showed up for 3:30 pickup I had to wait 10-15 minutes and I was told by service person you might as well go wait in car. I did online check in and when got was told that is not for trailer pickup. got home and tire was at 11psi had to pump up it seemed to hold air for 3 days. returned u-haul and forgot to fold blankets. so I was charged $15 for that and because I brought u-haul back hour after closing I was $20 for that as per agreement. I found that the rep was rude and when I called him on saturday and sent him pictures, he did not reiterate that they are closed at 1 and my drop off was 3:30 & I had to do online drop off. I think that good customer service is not only about having agreement but certain times should be communicated verbally not well look at your agreement and it is your problem. on that note I won't use this location anymore, I might still use uhaul but the this fellow was rude and had an ignorant attitude and well he was way older so maybe he should retire and give us all a favor.

The person who runs this location was rude, dismissive and condescending. The fuel was not at the level in the contract and in the rush to get the truck after 30 minutes we did not notice the fuel level until on the road. When I called to discuss this he just blew me off by saying the time to mention it was before leaving the lot. He told me that he would have mentioned it when checking us in but he did not. He rushed us through the process, complained about how busy he was deferring to us to the online booking system which was not clear at all and then finally helping us but was very rushed through the process which is why we didn't think to check the gas. We also had to stand outside in freezing weather while he checked us in from his vehicle. I don't believe this man is suited to dealing with the public in such a manner.

The location was extremely muddy, and the only exit from the parking area required a running start to avoid getting stuck in the mud/puddle. I would avoid the location in early spring if snow is still visible. Notably, the uHaul attendant onsite was accommodating when I had difficulties with the app and was very helpful.

There was a problem with the app and website that caused me to be on the phone with an agent for an hour. When I told Don, the guy who services this location that, he told me other people check in in 5 minutes, and said he “believed I was a complete idiot”! The yard was an absolute muddy disaster, so much so that when I picked up the truck there was another truck stuck in the mud. On top of this, the yard was locked when I went to return the truck, forcing me to drive to work and back in a U-Haul! Completely unacceptable!

The vehicle wasn’t very clean when I picked it up and it wasn’t in the best shape. The lot was also extremely muddy when I attempted to drop off the vehicle. However, the gentleman who assisted me with the Uhaul was very understanding and helpful.

I had to call customer service because the first pick up point wasn't setup for mobile pick up even though it let me choose that option. The second place, when I tried to return the equipment, it didn't let me take pictures of the truck and then the website just deleted any record that I ever had a order. Not sure what happened and the uhaul employee I called to help said "do your best" when asking him what I should do in that scenario

Abs And brake lights came on, asked to drop off in spruce for safety as that’s where I was currently with the truck, still had to come back to St. Albert to get my car so I could get my dogs. Don the guy who rented it to me started telling me I was trying to save money on fuel, kept going too was a real piece of work. Anyway I called the place in spruce and they told me I would have to wait for a tech to come out and look. I had to get back to St. Albert to get my dogs and I am a mechanic, roads were wet and I told don it’s most likely a abs wire got wet and tripped a code but “you can’t be too safe when it comes to brakes” but he continually told me I’m a liar and trying to save money…. I don’t have words for this type of person. Anyway I got the truck back to St. Albert. The lights were no longer on when I started the truck to return as the wet wire had dried (most likely). Don was extremely rude and does not care about customer safety. Not to mention the truck was from the states and I couldn’t drop this truck off at a u haul 30km away for safety reasons..? Terrible experience.

This a self dispatch location where you sign out your truck yourself and everything is on-line. Don was the voice on the phone for booking and finalizing the transaction. Don was Very helpful. Only used the rental for the day. Only wished the truck had cruise control. Nice to have a UHaul location in St Albert now and not having to go into Edmonton.

The online registration and pickup process was very cumbersome and took a tremendous amount of time. Next time I decide to use a U-Haul service, I’ll make sure it a person to person contact. To register you get up to five text. Not worth my time!

The yard was quite muddy, and the truck was not in good condition. The engine would rev very high before shifting into the next gear, which caused excessive fuel consumption.

Arrived at 830am No access to keys until 900am Keys in neighboring business knocked on window asked to access key station inside for Uhaul.They let me in to access key station. Don (Uhaul Representative) contacted me at 1100am about accessing keys before neighbouring business was open. Don was Very Rude about me asking the business to access the Uhaul keys when my reservation was for 830 am but I couldnt access until they were open until 900 am I will not be using that location again

Return was in a muddy lot and there was no one there. Had to phone a person and go through a bunch of hoops to clear the return. Very low service.

Don was fantastic! It was my first time booking a u-haul so he explained everything and answered all my questions, he was available by text on the day of the rental when I needed to add a driver (on a stat holiday!), checked me in when I returned the truck. I was charged what he promised over the phone I booked. The truck was clean when I picked it up and using the app to sign in was easy. Thanks Don, I will be recommending you!

Just an empty lot with no staff. Outside of truck, mirrors and glass were all dirty. Very hard to see with the low sun.

Don’t have a representative text the morning of pick up to reach out if they need assistance, only to have a very rude man tell me to give it more of an “effort” when I struggled to check my truck out and called for help. His “did you turn your location services on?” is the equivalent of an IT person telling someone to restart their computer. He had a rude attitude and he was on speaker for my brother to hear as well. It’s clear that if a person needed assistance, he wouldn’t know how to help. He was unhelpful, I sat there with a painfully slow app, and I will look to rent future u-hauls elsewhere, if not renting from a different company altogether. This is my fourth u-haul rental in a little over a year and I’ve done mobile pick up for each. When I call for help, it’s because I have a legitimate reason.

You can’t. The location is run by thieves who double billed me and in spite of seeking resolution from two different agents and emailing time stamped evidence to prove they are liars there has been no resolution yet!! People will hear about this as social media is the best revenge.

The truck stalled continually. Once in the middle of an intersection. The exterior was really dirty The gas gauge position when I picked it up wasn't accurate, so I filled the tank to where the gauge was when I picked the truck up. I didn't like the hassle at this location It was convenient, but that's about it.

Was called the day we were to drop off and were told the manager was sick in the hospital on an IV so we could not drop off at the location on the contract. Had to take it into Edmonton. I texted the manager. He said this was false. I was also told this was a locked facility so there is no way to drop off there because the manager was not in. This is a lie as well. Then we were told they wanted the trailer at the other location because another family wanted to pick it up in Edmonton instead. What is this nonsense?! Nothing but lies and more lies. We will never recommend Uhaul to anyone. Such a disaster. Honor the contract on booking. Stop messing with people.

Have an actual building there for people to speak with representative. Some people will not call a number posted on a sign. Even if it’s a portable office trailer. The man on site was most helpful and I was hooked on the trailer in less than 20mins ( that included booking on spot ).

Rented a truck, did not have a good experience with the person there. Blamed me for their system not working properly and was extremely unhelpful… as a result, I submitted a review saying it was a poor experience. The person took the time to text me personally a day after I submitted the review to say I was “on alert and not welcome ever again” - crappy business from start to finish. I’d recommend finding somewhere else to rent a truck.

The self check out and check in system is a huge pain in the ass!!! It took almost a hour to get going. The app kept kicking me out after completing a section. There was issues with the brake lights that thankfully were mitigated by my friend who was following me with my car. Compared to my experiences with uhaul from about 10 years ago…this experience has absolutely made my mind up to never use uhaul again or recommend it to anyone else. Highway disappointment.

Passenger side of truck on floor had cigarette ash all over the place. Truck was definitely previously smoked in and not cleaned properly. Just a really messy cab for sure

Very friendly and the off-site manager was fast to text and call me. The truck was very clean, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was confused about the keys doing everything online my first time but he talked me through it and it was simple really. Met me to drop off the truck. It’s a big open lot so driving in and out was also easy.

It was all fairly easy. I used the app to pick up my truck. The only thing that would make it easier would be the signage for where to pick up the keys in the bottle depot. That took a bit to figure out. A clear sign would help. Other than that, it was quick and easy! Really impressed!

Parking in a field is not as nice as an actual parking lot. The rain and snow is a bit of a pain to walking in (really gets muddy)
