When I booked this truck online it gave me three locations for optional drop off. I think all of them said Xenia. I was moving to Wilmington Xenia isn't exactly close. I mentioned that i know there was a drop off location with in 10 mins of my house to the guy that i checked me in. He said he saw two options and told me this location was just up the road. When I pulled it up on my gps this morning it was 22 miles from my house. It took me over 30 minutes to drive just up the road. When a few weeks ago we had a truck that we dropped off less than 10 mins from the house. Said it would open at 9. Got there for a few minutes before nine so I waited. At about 5 after 9 I checked the truck in myself.BRANDON P.

Originally had a reservation at CJ in Washington Court House. When I showed up to get the equipment they said sorry about your luck. They did not have the trailer to rent. So much for making a reservation. Sent me to Xenia 28 miles away. Also had to return to Xenia or would be charged extra $200. Had to drive an extra 112 miles. So much for customer service. I am surprised with a culture like U-Haul you are asking for feedback.Robert R.
Check engine light was on, air conditioning worked sometimes but went a couple hours where it did not. Pick up location overcharged me which required follow up calls to get resolved.Vince M.

The only thing email I received from UHaul confirming my reservation stated my pick up and drop of were at The Jeffersonville location. When I drove to pick up the Truck at jeffersonville there was on truck and no one there!! After several calls a Uhaul rep told me the pick up had been changed to Xenia location. Nobody to me!! I received no text, no call or no email to tell me of this location change!! Xenia was in the opposite direction to my trip and resulted in over and hour round trip, which meant I missed the time allocated to move my daughters furniture into OSU! It was nightmare for me. To top it off, it was 90degress and when I picked the truck up at the Xenia location it had no air conditioning and the check engine lite came on!! So I had to drive and extra hour each way on top of my normal planned trip in a truck with no aircon in 90degress. This was a terrible experience from start to finish. This location was easy to find and the drop off procedure was easy to understand online. We were able to drop off the truck, take the mileage and pictures as needed, and drop the keys off without any issues. I hope that the truck gets back to Greenville safely.Elijah M.

Have the â€œguaranteed â€œ truck available at the time and place I reserved it for 3 weeks prior! Drove by numerous Uhaul dealers to get to the guaranteed pick up place. Directions on reservation takes you 10 miles away from actual pickup place. Reserved 15' truck, told I had a 26' truck. Shortage of 15'. Never communicated of change. Huge difference in gas and driving. Poor man in charge of pickup did the best he could. When you only have a 26' truck on lot, what do you do? Fortunately, a 10' truck pulled in while trying to figure it out.! Had no other option, truck was needed that specific day. Took twice as long loading because of smaller truck. Price was the same!!! When booked, price was much cheaper for 10' vs 15'. According to Uhaul 800, prices went up $400+ since I booked, and nothing could be done about priceâ€¦.â€already getting a deal by giving it to me for price I reserved your it atâ€â€¦..regardless it was a much smaller truck!!? Very disappointed with pick up! Drop off as bad or worse!!Michael B.

Was charged for gas when I had filled it back up. Had to call and inform them I had taken picture of gauge upon return. They said they would double check it and then the refunded me the money. Glad I take pictures.don C.
My only complaint was my pickup location changed. The only way I knew it changed was the fact they called me on pickup day to let me know. Luckily it worked out and I picked it up the next day due to the fact the new location closed earlier than what I originally booked.Brad B.

Pickup location was fine. Given the lack of availability of vehicles in the region, you have to take what you can get. The vehicle was clean enough. Customer service was good enough, he did what needed to be done, no chit chat.Nicole V.

Even though I did the online check-in and answered all the questions and took front/back photos of my drivers license; when I arrived, I still had to go through all the same questions again in-person and they asked to see my drivers license too, what's the point of the online check-in then?... also, very unfriendly guy at Florida Car Connection.Benjamin K.

Improve location office and service. Had to ring bell and wait for someone to come. The pickup location was move the night before I was to pick up, and did not receive a text msg. Went to original location and they advised they don't handle trucks there. You'd think that would've been noted when I reserved pickup location on line the WEEK BEFORE. So I was delayed in getting the truck I reserved.David D.
The location is not inviting. I did mobile drop off. There were a few individuals looking at used cars in the lot after hours. One of them approached us and started bothering us while I was trying to check out. It was unsettling because we were alone and because he was exhibiting strange behavior. This was made more difficult by the fact that the web app would not recognize my location (which I confirmed was turned on) and would not let me proceed. Luckily it worked on my wife's phone. If any of this stuff could be prevented in the future, it would provide a better experience.Nathan P.

U Haul standards, seem to have fallen significantly. Your agent at this location , made me think I was an interruption, to his repair shop duties. Having inspected the wear on the tires as well as asking when were the wheel bearings last packed, I did not feel confident with the answers. Anyway, your 5 X 8 enclosed trailer did the job for us. The parking lot at Florida Car Connection where I rented the truck is in desperate need of repair. Lots and lots of pot holes exist and have been that way for years. I have rented from u-haul several times now the past couple of years and the pick up locations always seem to get changed on me at the last minute.John S.

We were not informed at the time of registration or pick up on the process of check out after hours. We had truck back on lot and locked up at 7:30 pm and at 8pm we got a text message saying we had to take pic of millage and everything to make sure we had back on time to avoid $20 late fee. We had already locked truck up or we would have done that process. Now we know for next time.dawn m S.

This location charged me for gas not being full enough when my paperwork shows it's actually over...They also charged me an additional day and miles which were also authorized already. Total charge was an extra $189 and now I have to wait for an $79 refund that should have been closer to $90 but this rude individual charged me for the gas as well and I don't have the patience to call corporate back and explain. Corporate did look into and issue a refund within the hour so I have no complaints with them. It isn't there fault I'm too annoyed with this location to explain the extra gas charge on top of all the others. I'll just settle for the amount they came up with but I'll never deal with this location again.Randy S.

The instructions for dropping off the keys were not clear. We were not told to have a copy of the contract to put in the dropbox. Luckily, we had a smartphone and were able to complete the process online. My fiance does not have a smartphone and would have had to come all the way home to print that contract and bring it back, adding miles to the u-haul.Lori S.

This location should have offered to help hook up the trailer to the vehicle and offer a ball and slider so the trailer can hook up to the vehicle. The guy just told me to go to Autozone and buy the needed parts. Also, it took a long time to finalize the rental to get on the road so a shorter time to get it rented out would be helpful. Nice guy but not the smoothest operation.jonathan P.
