Every time I have rented from this location there is never anyone at the desk, even during normal business hours. The check in process via the website told me to get my keys from the desk. After calling the location I was redirected to uhaul customer service because they could not locate an employee. The uhaul representative gave me the lock code to retrieve the keys, the website never have me this information. Wasted an hour of time for no good reason. I have never had a pleasant experience renting from uhaul and I will do my best to avoid them from now on.

Had discussion with the Plantation representative about returning my trailer on Monday 10/7. It was requested that I be there before 4:30 or 5:30 since the site staff may go home early that day. When I arrived at 4:00, no one was there and had to leave the trailer in the parking lot without any drop-off acknowledgement.

You need a sign on the main road to indicate where the business office is. Bob handled my local reservation and was extremely courteous, helpful, and patient.

Location made us check in via app which is more complicated than checking in with a person, we then had to call uhual customer service because the app wasn't working. Eventually since we were sitting in the parking lot for 15 minutes the guy said he'd check us is.

I will not ever do the rental again online pick up and drop off. When I picked it up the check engine light was on. Made me very nervous. When I returned the truck you ask for all these photos and scans etc. There was NO LIGHTING to scan the bar code or take pictures. Had to drive up and parallel to the building. It is very dark there for a single person returning a truck to get out take all those pictures and send and wait for them to process. More lightning definitely needed

People at the location and area were excellent, but for the uhaul app, location services were awful and could not confirm that I was in the area. Took us over 1 hour to get into the truck. My suggestion for improvement would be to not offer mobile pick up at this location unless a new cellular tower is in place.

It appears as though I was charged for fuel. I brought it back with 3/4 of a tank while it only had 5/8 of a tank to start.

The gentleman at Flowers was nice and very helpful but $270 for a half a day's use of a truck is ridiculous. The app to pick up and drop off the truck would not work and was overly difficult. The app would not recognize my location, or the pictures i would have to download for it. I had to contact customer service for help. (Who was a very helpful person) I was forced to provide multiple references when I have previously rented trucks with no issues. Overall, a poor experience with UHAUL this time, Not Flowers Plantation.

I have stored our camper there since the facility opened its doors and am only leaving because i am not able to tow it long distances anymore., I was able to secure storage at a camp ground in Myrtle beach SC. That eliminates towing it altogether.

We gave the truck back with over $50 more in gas then when we got it. The gentleman who was kinda only said we would be SOL when I came to any discount or money back when we paid more to leave it with more gas than when we took it. Kind of crappy we only got $8 for the gas in consideration

The Uhaul app is horrible and there is a lot that isnt explained before you get the truck through the app. Dropping it off was a nightmare too. Also the price was WAY more than i expected. I returned the truck a day early and got charged for the next day. And what is an EZ fuel charge of $45 plus $30 for the gas. Very disappointing experience.

On the only 2 occasions that I came to the office there was a sign on the door saying “be back in 5-10 minutes” both times I waited. When I returned my utility cart I waited more than 10 minutes. You need to have some type of doorbell or alert for the employee to know someone is waiting.

The virtual check in experience was terrible! It took about 30 minutes and was was very frustrating. My husband went in to ask for help and was told “you just have to finish it” we continued to work on getting through the process and had another question but this time when I went to the door there was a note that said the attendant would be back later.

The facility was secure and lighted by the office and entrace into the storage units area but there were no lights by the units or in the units and it is really dark at night. I would still recommend the place but I would let people know to bring flashlights when going at night.

Truck had a broken mirror, but not a big thing. Check out was a little complicated and confusing! Returning truck was fast and easy.

The main problem we had upon an early arrival (6:30am, office closed) was that the WiFi was so poor at this location. We had delays using the truck pick up system due to minimal WiFi reception that made everything take longer and be more challenging since we had to call to toll free to have the assistance of UHaul customer service to navigate it all. I would highly encourage that office to have an open guest WiFi account or make improvements to what they currently have so that the pick up process can happen much more smoothly. The site and truck were awesome!

My appt was at 7:30 after taking a picture of myself and my iD they still said they couldn’t id me. Which is crazy so they had to call and wake my daughter up. Then I tried paying with my bank card and it kept declining when there was more than enough on the card. Then once I put in code to unlock to lock to get the key out it wouldn’t completely open so I had to keep trying about 4 times. I didn’t leave the lot til 8:24 when reservations was for 7:30 -9:30 so I didn’t get it back til 10:10 due to the nonsense I had to go through wasting a hour just trying to get the truck. This was the worst experience with uhaul in the last 20-30 years I have used YALL. Don’t have service available when u closed if u make ppl go through all that nonsense

This storage unit was the cleanest unit I have ever rented. Never seen any signs of rodents or cockroaches like the other storage units I have used with other companies. Would definitely recommend using this storage unit company.

My only issue was the online check in wasn’t working for me to get the truck at 8am, so I had to wait for the place to open and got it at 930am. Then I was told that it had to be back by 5pm, and I got it back right before then and the 5pm guy left and never rented the truck and I still needed to use it. I didn’t realize there was a rental time it had to be back, bc I said I needed it for the day to move a 3500sq ft house with me and a friend doing all the work.

Went 22 miles gas needle didn’t move but 5 back in it and was charged 22.00 for gas!!!!! Rented the truck for the day and only got 4 hours and had to turn it in??? What happened to renting and getting the vehicle over night til the next day…… AHHHHH no had turn it in after 4-5 hours of use. This is pretty shitty ! 19.99 truck cost me. Damn 80 dollars. This how you do business? I’ve lived in clayton 19 years and I know enough people to tell…… and

Very easy rental and move out process. The location of this facility is easy to get to from the main road and well laid out. We had a climate controlled unit and the facility was very well lit and very clean with extensive hours for use. Would use this facility again.

We had a great experience finalizing the rental and then moving in to the climate controlled unit. The man at the desk, Dave, walked us to where the unit was and showed us the two entries for our use.
