Charged me $20 for dropping it off a half an hour before they opened up. I had no choice! Piss poor business model. No trucks/trailers on site. I don’t know how they stay in business. Very disappointed.
RICHARD KThis was such an easy process with this U-Haul site. I talked to a person once and was able to pick up and drop off on my own through the APP. KNOW THIS- 1. The pick up is not the same entrance as Foley Guns-it is to the left on the gravel road and the keys are also there for mobile pick up through the APP. The APP will show you pictures of where the keys are located when you enter the pickup phase. 2. The APP will ask for your drivers licenses pic and other things before you get the key. Our phones did well with this. When dropping off, you will also have some pictures to take before returning the keys. Each time it took about ten to 15 min to complete and we were not expecting it. 3.Using the load and unload companies on the UHaul site was easy. We used one from Summerdale, Al and they were great. Make sure you tip with cash. You will use the U-HAUL APP once again when they finish their work. U-HAUL will pay them when job is complete after entering the code. 3. Hopefully will not move again, but would definitely use them next time.
Marjorie LThe first location we had chosen for drop off was called Going Nuts in Foley, AL. We got there, and it no longer existed. Leveled to ground - construction going on. Might want to remove that from locations. The Gun Shop was fine. Only 7 min away from Going Nuts.

MICHAEL DFoley Custom Guns was great , My reservation showed going to Foley Custom guns but it showed him on his end me picking up at a differnet location but he fixed me up. Not sure why reservation s was messed up but they fixed me up.

leland wU-Haul computer system very slow and non responsive up loading pics takes forever. The person helping me was awesome this place I will use over and over and there is other U-Haul around (a lot actually ) and no one treats you like where I go. Great people

JAMES FThe facility was very unwelcoming. Signs on the door with "rules" listed to abide to if you dare enter. The far right political environment caused my wife and I to feel threatened if we were to say anything outside their beliefs. The field where the vehicle was parked had areas of wash out and large holes had to be navigated to exit. The engine light was on in the rental truck.

RALPH CI would not recommend this location only because we scheduled he pickup for a Monday and the company is not open on Mondays. This is not the fault of the pick up location as much as in the website? Luckily there was a gentleman there looking for a truck that was missing. He found the truck and was able to pause a conference call he was taking part in and helped us pickup the truck. Had we not beeen lucky enough to catch him there we would have had major issues especially since we had moving help setup for 1 hour after we were scheduled to make thee pickup. He was kind and super helpful.

MOSES SDrop off was easy and straight forward. I had to drive to another town 50 miles from major city in which I attempted to rent truck. Apparently there was no availability at the time. That was a major inconvenience, but to their credit, I was upgraded to a larger truck at no cost. I didn't really need the larger truck, but it did simplify the loading process. I have always had a positive experience with U-Haul. For such a large operation, it appears to run like a well oiled machine. I hope I don't need a truck or trailer for a long time; but if I do, I will make one call....U-Haul.

BRYAN TThe drop off was the absolute opposite of the pick up. Nick was helpful and was so kind. Please send Nick from Foley Custom Guns to Farr Hardware to teach them how to treat customers. Nick met me outside with a smile. He was friendly and very helpful in the information he gave me. He unhooked the trailer and took care of it for me. He was exemplary in his customer service. I would use Foley Custom Guns any time but I will never use FARR and will tell everyone I know locally to never use them. Again, I would like the $25 dollars that I did not authorized credited back to my card.
