I had an issue with my first pick up location and had to go to this location. I reserved a 15 ft truck and then while I was waiting in line, they gave my truck to the angry person in line ahead of me. She reserved a 10 ft truck and got my 15 ft truck. I had to take a 10 ft truck two hours after my original reservation. They said that I could bring the truck back 3 hours late and that they would discount the miles, since I had to make multiple trips with a smaller truck. There was no paperwork for me to sign at all. No contracts or paperwork at all. And no one to help me with the return. There was no discount at all and I think I ended up paying more than I thought. The whole experience was bad and I need to review my invoice to see why it was more than I anticipated. I will never rent a uhaul truck again.Jon H.

They are not really a Uhaul store. Took a long time to rent the Van. He also had to work the register in the gas Station. He went back and forth. Very annoying . The door of the side van did not work. I should of checked it but i checked the back door instead. I found out when i got to the storage unit and tried to open it up. I did call him to tell him about it. I took a week to close the contract and someone from Uhaul called me and asked when i was going to return it. I was embarrassed from the call, but I had already return the Van that day. She did follow up for me and got it taken care of. TomThomas B.

When we arrived to do self check in, the tuck was there our reservation was set for 8:30 but when we clicked to check in it said the truck would not be available until 11. The person at the desk was able to get everything sorted out with in 15 min. Then there was confusion b/ we were told we could drop the truck off at any location but when we called a different uhaul we were told we could not do that. So just communication issues with pick up and drop off influences our rating.Jay R.

using the on line check in system was cumbersome but I understand and muddled through. when I went up to the counter there was a line and the reason there was a line is there was some fool who arrived after me (I was struggling thru all the online steps on my own) and walked up to the cashier to have him help him thru each step. ridiculous. WHEN WE ARRIVED, WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY NO LONGER DID UHAUL CONTRACTS AS OF LAST WEEK. I SAW A TRUCK IN THE PARKING LOT AND SHOWED MY CONFIRMATION NUMBER. THE EMPLOYEE CALLED HIS BOSS WHO THEN WAS PUT ON SPEAKER. THEY SPOKE IN A LANGUAGE THE WHOLE TIME I DID NOT KNOW. SOMEHOW THEY FOUND MY RESERVATION AND I GOT MY TRUCK. THERE WAS LESS THAN 1/2 A TANK OF GAS IN IT, WHICH WAS NOT GOOD BECAUSE WE HAD A LOT OF DRIVING TO DO. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED AND IT DELAYED US A LOT DUE TO THEM "NO LONGER USING UHAUL CONTRACTS". I WAS DISAPPOINTED BUT AT LEAST I GOT THE TRUCK. THEY ASKED US TO RE-DO EVERYTHING THAT I HAD DONE ONLINE SUCH AS NAME, PHONE NUMBER, ETC.Ryan E.
Have 2 clerks. There was only 1 clerk who was also the gas station cashier and spoke very poor english. He kept stopping our process to assist other customers which caused him to lose our information multiple times and the whole process to drag on for an hour which caused us to miss the retun deadline for our rental car and pay extra there. He also entered our information wrong and even though I asked him directly if the rental was for 12 days and he said yes he inputted it on the contract as a 2 day rental.shai B.
You have to watch out for this location, they had charges that are no requested. Before getting the truck the staff member expected me to unload the equipment in the back of the truck before taking it when I didn't need or request items. This location leaves your personal information on the counter when this location is a gas station/fast food chain and has a lot of public access to see your information. Very thankful for U-haul customer service in refunding the charges. Highly don't recommend this location.charles B.

I wish there was signage saying that this was a U-Haul Rental center There was only one U-Haul rental truck If that truck wasn't there. It would've been very hard to find this locationTERRY G.
HORRIBLE!! When I picked up my truck the associate asked if I was returning to the same location, I said no I was returning to Yuba City and he said ok. The truck I reserved was a 17', yet I ended up with a 15' truck, which in turn caused me to take several more trips than expected and I had pay movers twice. When I called to extend the rental I was told I was to drop off at the same location I picked it up from and if I was to drop it off at a different location they said no because that location owns the truck. I asked to speak with someone who could help me. The following day I got a call from the district manager who was incredibly rude, and accused me of trying to get the rental for free from the start of the call, never once did I ask for anything OTHER THAN to change the drop off location, which he told me if I did drop off in yuba city he would charge me hundredsof dollars in fees. The call ended with him threatening to ban me from renting from uhaul ever again (not a big deal, plenty of other truck rental companies out there, many of them are much more affordable AND the actually provide CUSTOMER SERVICE). Because I had to wait for a ride to return the truck since I was not expecting to have to go back out to Folsom to return the truck, I called customer service to extend the rental a day, who said they had to call the district manager for permission. I then explained to the customer service agent what had happened and that he would not help me. She assured me that extending it a day would not be a problem and called him anyway. When she got back to me she informed me that I had to return it now or the district manager would report it as STOLEN!!! How could that be when I called to extend it! The district manager is unprofessional, a bully and has no business being in a position of authority. I called corporate and never received a call back, therefore, I have filed a complaint with BBB. Not to mention the truck had it's windshield taped one, was filthy and full of trash when I got it. Also, upon return they used a "APP" to determine the gas level on an old truck, which I am positive is not compatible with any sort of gas tracking app to try to over charge me for gas. Thank goodness I had my gas station receipt and took pictures of the gas gauge upon return showing I had filled it up to the specified amount so they could not get away with it.shannon M.

He made me pay him an additional $10.00 in cash. I asked for a receipt and he didn't want to give me one but I insisted so he gave me a receipt for $10.00 and rang it as groceries. I saved it. The truck was not ready when we got there.BRUCE T.

I waited for one whole hour to be checked out and another 1/2 hour to be checked in. I would not recommend this Uhaul location to anyone and do expect a call and or refund from a manager of your company.for all of my wasted time.erich H.
Booked a week in advance. Keys were not left out for my app pickup, had to wait 3 hours for them to open. Gas tank was empty, tried to give and charge me for equipment I didn't want and turned down a few times. Truck was full of trash in the cab. Employees seemed clueless on how to sign out a truck. Pretty sure they had someone at home do all the paperwork and printed her email for me. Mileage was wrong on paperwork and tried to charge me for an extra 54 miles.Erin B.
I had a problem with rental rate that was promised due to not being able to have a truck from the Gilroy, CA area. They lowered my rate from $430 to $390 but was not shown on the contract when I picked it up. I did not notice until I had left the rental facility. Shantel (sp?) at your AZ call center found the reduction in the notes and was very helpful to get the $40 credit back on my card. I have rented three units so far with another 2 more to go with this move, so I know UHaul very well and you have been great to work with.dennis B.
I have never been to a more screwed up Uhaul dealer in my life. There were no signs, in the front of the business indicating a Uhaul Dealer. There was a guy sitting on the ground of the car wash that didn't even get up, he just pointed in the other direction when I asked where I should go. There was a paper dish on the dash and the truck had not been cleaned. There was no one at the counter and I had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone came to it. They brought the truck around and I started to put some things in the back and there were about 40 Uhaul blankets in the back. I had to wait another 20 minutes for the guy at the desk to tell someone to clean out the back. I spent probably an additional 35 minutes waiting for these idiots to get the truck readyâ€”â€”-HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A CHINESE FIRE DRILL? It was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul and I have used Uhaul about 10 to 12 times in the recent past. I am surprised a company of your reputation, let this account keep your name on the trucks they rent. I have seen a Day Care Center better run than this. If this had been my only contact with a Uhaul center, I would never use them again and would literally rather buy a truck than do business with these A holes. The clerk who was also working on gas and market purchases was rude, unhelpful, and refused to address any issues with the rental. I had to spend two days making calls on an overcharge and never heard back from the district manager on my complaint.Danielle B.

This place is very poorly operated and they will steal your money by charging you for 1)dolly you never had 2)pads you never had. 3)charge you for gas when you brought it back full. This whole location has major problems. It is dirty and literally smells like sewer inside the food mart. They had no uhaul staff on site. They had to take a pic of my credit card that i was not comfortable with. Absolutely would not recommend coming here. Uhaul: what are you doing? Who evaluates where you place your equipment? Only one person at counter who was attempting to run a convenient store and a U-Haul at the same time. It took 55 minutes just to pick up the truck. I picked up lunch at Baja Fresh while I was waiting and ate in the lobby of the U-Haul, and still had to wait. The supplies I ordered and paid for were not available. The attendant had me sort around in their storeroom looking for them. There was one box, which was used, broker and had tape all over it. She said, "Oh, did you want new boxes?" I said that is what I had paid for. I had paid for them on my credit card, but was issued a cash refund. The manager of the store kept calling her with instructions and talking to me on the phone about U-Haul rules. He sounded very drunk or stoned. Their u-Haul license should be taken away.Jeffrey K.

The man who we got the uhaul from at the mobile location was extremely unprofessional. He did not explain the breakdown of fees, asked if I â€œwanted anything elseâ€ without explaining what he meant. Our uhaul was parked very tightly next to 2 other uhauls. We were asked to back the uhaul out of the space. I declined and asked one of the sales people to do it. It took him about 10 adjustements to be able to get out the of the space. Once he had the uhaul out of the space, he drove it a ways down the road, got out and left us there. There was no walk through or explanation of the vehicle. I would never recommend this location to anyone and the person working there at mobile should not be in a customer service position.Lauren W.

Great service, however, this was the second time I have used Uhaul's online reservations and it let me down. The first was an inadvertent change of rental date. the second was a trailer that I did not request. I requested a utility trailer and the pulled a box trailer. Due to the inconvenience and lateness of the day, I have to rent a 15' truck to piuck up and deliver a refrigerator. Both times were using the mobile app.ROBERT A.
Have a reliable network to ensure customers can receive contract documentation before renting equipment. This has been a long-standing problem with UHaul for several years across many states (e.g, I've had this problem personally in VA, MO and CA). I actually reserved a trailer online near my house at11351 Pyrites Wy Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 - some reason the reservation got changed to 7620 Folsom-Auburn Rd, Folsom, CA 95630. What a joke this was getting this trailer. They didn't have any supplies to buy like tow hitch or ball. I needed both called ahead and they said yes. I also ended up need an adapter for light connection. What should have been an easy pick up took almost 3 hrs to get. This is why I orginial reserved at a UHAUL FACILITY and not some rinky dink wanna be uhaul place. I had to leave 2 times to grab stuff for trailer. Then there was only one person renting out the uhauls who kept leaving and I had to wait several times. I go there at 2 pm and by the time I ran back and forth it was almost 5 pm. This was the WORST experience ever! Highly disappointed.Lori H.

I arrived to a store without power. However, the gentleman that helped me processed my order with his cell phone. As well as four others. A lighting strike took out a transformer and power was down for repair. None of this affected me. Great service.ROBERT A.
Called to confirm after receiving automated text to do so. The person who answered told me to hold and then came back on the line and told me he would call me right back. He never did. I called back 2 hours later and the woman who answer said only "hello." Thinking maybe I had dialed the wrong number I asked if I had called the right place and the entire call was both unprofessional & unhelpful. After playing 20 questions just to confirm that my rental would be available I was still left with a feeling that the woman had no idea what I was talking about. The following day, when picking up the rental, the young man behind the counter seemed confused and had a difficult time navigating the computer he was using to try to find our rental reservation. The transaction took nearly half an hour after which he was unable to find the key to the truck the trailer was attached to. After realizing he had the wrong set, he went in to find the right ones and we spent another 15 minutes out front waiting for him to return with the right ones. When I went in to see if he'd found the keys, he said he'd thought we'd just muscle it over. This was an auto-carrier and it was me and my 73 year old father. Needless to say, I was not impressed with this location and will happily go elsewhere (even if it is further away) next time I need a rental.harlanjude W.

I have learned my lesson! Will choose U-Haul stores instead of gas stations that also rent U-Haul. Vehicle wasn't ready, staff had no idea what to do, tried to write my CC # on a sheet of paper with my name, then upon return a different staff didn't know what to do and stopped fumbling a dozen times to serve other customers. Finally when he presented the bill he tried to charge me $60 fuel charge. I had driven 24 miles and had just pumped 3 gallons from THEIR pump into the truck. Fortunately I had taken a photo of the dash showing the mileage and gas gauge when I picked it up. After I showed him the photo he adjusted the bill. Terrible service and attempted theft really left a sour taste in my mouth!Tim C.

Besides the horrible on line system, we we went to get key the guy in the store said he did not handle U-Haul, the guy wasn't there and it wasn't his responsibility. I asked what we do, he said he would call guy, then he said he did not answer. The store guy could care less, wouldn't help. I called U-Haul, was on hold a while, finally lady got in touch w area mgr who called store. The store worker told him same thing but eventually he pulled out a box that was right in front of him and gave us key. After they hung up someone else come for a haul and sent them away. Unbelievable. It took so long, he was absolutely rude, didn't care and would not help. I will never so there again and I also do not like this new automated lengthy system.Reinhard S.

He called the other guy and we waited for him to get there and then we waited for him to call uhaul even though I did mobile check in.
