JULIE GI spent 45 minutes trying to rent a trailer at the Avilla, IN location. She told me finally I needed a 7.5 trailer and she had a 7.0. When I arrived at the Ft Wayne location, he told me I actually needed a 7.0, but would rent me his 7.5. Almost an hr of my time wasted on misinformation and unqualified service at Avilla.

Jeffrey HDONT USE SELF CHECKOUT!!! I needed the van for a quick trip to move a couch for my aunt. The van we were assign had a flat already had a flat. We could not even drive it at all as no one made sure it was in running condition. We had to call roadside assistance to have them fix the vehicle in the uhaul lot. This took almost two extra hours where we had to stand out in the cold and wait. What should have be a 45t minute trip turned into an hours long ordeal. There were plenty of vans with working tires available here but no one at uhaul could or would switch us. They said we had to wait there for service to fix the one we had been assigned before we could even leave the lot. I had to pay my helper extra and I was forced to fix faulty uhaul equipment on my own time and no one I talked to at uhaul cares. I waited a bit before leaving this review because I truly expected someone from uhaul to contact me about such a horrible experience but no one did. The only thing I can say is that when I did return the van the guy at the office was very nice and apologized. Be warned, if you use self checkout, you could get stranded at the pickup with an undrivable van. not worth it.
William WI don't appreciate that the equipment I booked on January 17th was double booked for February 8th. Apparently since I booked through the UHaul site my reservation didn't receive priority over the person who booked directly through the UHaul franchise. Even though the franchise location had my reservation on file. Luckily, they had another trailer I could use. UHaul needs to do a better job of linking their reservations with the franchise reservation system. Not sure if I'll use UHaul in the future.

PIERRE HKeep Mike around he done everything that was expected of him and more .. hell my hubby left his fine in the U-Haul when we finished we drove all the way home B4 he realized it we called Mike and he hung out for me to come back down on Saturday to grab the phone . Thank you Mike keep up the great service and that wonderful smile.. you made our move simple and easy

TREVOR LI had a scheduled rental at another location that didn't open like there sign/website says. So I called the customer care center and they sent me 5 miles away to another location which it the one I actually rented today. Excellent place!!! The other location I'll never go back. Almost cost me my job today.

JONATHAN FMaybe it was a bad day but the man helping me was a total mess. He couldn't find the keys for the lady ahead of me, took him at least 15 minutes to find her truck and then key and the whole time he is running around like a chicken with his head cut off.

Sarah BThey closed earlier than posted time, I did not have uhaul app so had to download and take pictures of everything and turn keys to Dropbox, i rushed to get truck back before close to avoid that, preferred to work with humans. Not really a big deal. Will still recommend
JUSTIN HI requested to pick up the truck at 0830 to leave out of town. Checked in on line and said no truck was reserved. Called the customer service line and was told had to wait until they open at 9 to speak with someone. Finally got the truck at 915 and they still had to load the dolly I rented. I was late getting where I needed to go and getting back because of the delay. Also the truck shook very badly on the highway and was concerned it would not even make it there and back. I did not get my $50 credit for the truck not being ready as promised either.

JIMMIE RI reserved a truck online and when I got my final bill these crooks added fees for after hours services and other charges! I returned the truck and only used for several hours, put gas back in it and was in same condition as it was when picked up!!!
