It was very difficult to get to the dolly with my motorhome. The mechanism for tightening the straps was rusted and I had to lubricate them to get them to work. One chain had been attached in such a way that I could not use it. The right tail light was burnt out. The light and chain were subsequently fixed. Finally, the drop off point was 10 miles away through Washington DC construction. Once there, we found 8-10 people milling around the drive entrance making it difficult to drive in. These people were not Uhaul related at all. Very uncomfortable to be there.

No staff at 6pm, Fox Automotive location was in a questionable part of town, isolated, so going through drop off steps and taking pictures was unnerving. We couldn’t wait to get out of the area, thank goodness it was still light out. At night this would be very scary and unsafe. The road was rough terrain. No clear area to leave the truck but parked it next to other uhauls on a dirt muddy field.

Rob was terrific with us. If you made it easier to locate the desk within the two buildings, that would be helpful. Other than that, we had a perfect experience.

When I arrived at the location. The door was open. But it was dark inside and music was extremely loud. I stuck my head in the door and saw no one. It was dark. Stuck my head in a second time, thought it was odd the music was so loud and no one was there, told my son, no one is here. Then heard a " hey back here". Walk inside. A man was sitting behind a desk, in the dark with music extremely loud. He was asking me questions witch I could no hear do to the loud music. I finally just gave him my license, instead of trying to scream over the music. A order lady walked in after my son and I, and immediately ran out. The gentleman finally turned down the music and asked if the lady was with us. We said no. He gave me the keys and told me to park the truck where it was. The truck was in a ditch, and almost got stuck trying to move it. After i started to leave a received a text to do the entire check out my self. Why do I need to do the entire check out myself when I pay the say amount as the uhaul place where they check out the trunk. So 10 minutes later after I have to do a check out in a place where I have no service i use the truck. The truck was completely dirty. From in the cab. To in the back of the truck. If this truck was returned dirty. The previous renter was charged a cleaning fee. But the truck was never cleaned. So I used the truck. Cleaned it. Returned it with more fuel then it had when picked up. The next day after returned, the company charged me a $5.90 fee the next day. The worst experience i have ever had with uhaul ever, and I would never, ever, renter a uhaul from a place that is not a actual uhaul place!

The rate quoted was not the one I was charged. Almost 50% was added for insurance and “safe trip”. Told them I didn’t need either but they insisted or I wasn’t getting the trailer. My insurance covers this. Will consider other companies in the future as I am tired of paying for insurance I dont need.

Very little room to park the truck and you have to stand in the road to take pictures of the truck. This was not my preferred return location. I get charged if I do not return to the designated location, but you can change on me

I had to wait for the owner to arrive. Their was no place to park. There was no place to sit and wait. The owner was nice enough and the transaction was smooth though.

The gentleman who runs this location is very nice and friendly. The negatives are that there is really no place to leave your personal car. I had to move the truck, park my car in that spot and then take the truck. Same thing in reverse when returning. I also found the return procedure using the app to be a lot of work.

I have rented from this location twice in the last year. Both times the owner / manager charged me for unauthorized charges. First time was insurance fees. This time he charged me for 2 days even though I only had the trailer for one day. I would not want him representing my brand name.

Mr. Fox was great! He did everything in his control to make sure our CASH deposit was returned to us, and that we had confirmation from U-haul before we ever left his facility.

The person was not there when i arrived then left after I got in the vehicle. Never did an inspection the truck was so loud and engine light was on, people who heard me drive up also complained that they never heard a u-haul truck sound so loud and bad. when i returned the vehicle no one was there again so I took pictures to cover myself that i returned it clean and that the fuel gauge was where it should be.

I went to pick up the trailer and the owner Bob Fox asked me to hook the trailer up. I told him that was a U-Haul violation. As Bob was hooking the trailer up, I noticed that inside the trailer had screws and nails. So I told Bob about that and he never cleaned it out. This trailer is not on his property and it is next to another business. Bob, also charged me $5.00 for "Safe Trip" which was not needed for a trailer since I already paid $8.00 for insurance on the trailer. From the reviews from other customers I would have to say that this location should not be renting out U-Haul equipment!

This pos said two words to me before brushing against my shoulder while walking past me grabbing the keys and just walking out to the truck. This is a mechanic shop w/ 100 broken cars outside. If it wasnt for spotting the small uhaul box for keys somewhere on the wall I'd not even know it was there.

Too crowded with cars and trucks being worked on. I had to park in the sand off a dirt road. The owner is nice and relational. His location is too crowded to pull into for a truck and for my wife to pick me up. Unsafe due to no parking and the two lane road.

Truck was dirty inside the cab and the box and we had to wait for it to arrive. Mileage and gas on board were both wrong on the paperwork.

The guy I dealt with was not pleasant to deal with nor professional whatsoever. It started as soon as I walked up to the building, as he walked outside to meet me halfway and said "Can I HELP YOU?" with a blatant attitude, as if I was intruding on personal property or something of that nature. I told him I was there to pick up a UHaul truck that I had reserved. He then proceeded to give me more attitude after I spoke with him more about my rental reservation. We went inside, and then he began to basically chastise me for the expected mileage I listed down on my reservation, which made 0 sense whatsoever. He answered the phone twice while I was there, and was completely rude to his customers as well, borderline yelling at them. It was unbelievable. Then, when we went outside to look at the truck, he basically demanded I BACK the truck up into exactly where I got it from... which was on a long, skinny dirt road, surrounded by trees, next to a railroad track. I told him I was concerned about being able to back it down the road without hitting anything, to which he said "You got this, you're fine". ??? If I could've rented the same truck/trailer combination from any other UHaul location in the area, I wouldn't have even rented from this location due to how rude/unprofessional the gentleman running the shop was. I will not be returning to this location, and I will also be warning others who need a UHaul, to not go to this location and to instead go to the main UHaul branch, less than 5 minutes away from this 3rd-party-vendor.

I’m having serious problems this place is filled my credit card three times for the same charges and on top of that I can’t figure out the bill because I had a truck for four days drove 39 miles and my bill was $400
