Charlotte DLocations were great and helpful. The uhaul itself was great. That tow dolly for an additional car was even wider than the truck making for a bit of dangerous driving. But honestly, I don't know how I would suggest to fix it. It has to fit the car and I don't think you could make it any smaller.

RODERICK MMy pick up location was changed, and my drop off location was changed but I was able to drop it off at the original location I selected in my reservation, after I spoke to a U-Haul employee and was told it was okay. Then I was called (6/28 around 5pm) the evening before the truck was actually due (6/29 9am), per my reservation, and told that someone was waiting for my truck already and it needed to go to the other drop off location, AFTER I had returned the truck. I was then told I could be charged double for not returning it to the right place. I was very frustrated, because how was a customer already waiting on my truck, miles away from where I dropped it off, and an entire evening before it was due, and some how it was supposed to be my problem? Very frustrated with this U-Haul experience.

Chris CI returned the equipment within 24 hours of renting it and the woman told me the system was down. So she wrote the information on a paper and walked away. I had to interrupt her checking out a customer to ask about the early return and she told me I don’t get a credit and went back to the customer. I had to interrupt her again to ask where she wanted the trailer parked and she replied “just put it in the back somewhere “. What amazed me was “I was a customer too and she didn’t treat me like one”. I didn’t get a credit because she sent me a receipt stating that I returned the trailer at 8:30 the next day. That was a lie.

Bill RThe vehicle I rented was the absolute filthiest vehicle I ever been in. The previous renter obviously smoked several cartons of cigarettes during his journey and was accompanied by one or more of the slinkiest, slobbering, shedding dogs and they either lived in the vehicle or travelled a long distance. All of the windows were covered with dog slobber including the windshield, creating a safety hazard because it was difficult to see through the smeared, slobbered windows. The entire interior was covered with dog hair, ashes and garbage. The bed of the truck was also dirty and littered with garbage. I made a reservation the previous day and showed up 2 hours later than planned so the rental agent had plenty of notice to attempt a thorough cleaning. I would like a full refund, a sincere apology and a free rental.

Brian JThe location was okay. The equipment was fine. Not amazingly clean, but not terribly dirty. It's what you would expect for an old moving truck. Everything was old, but at least the AC worked without issue. The air-brakes felt questionable. Parking was a bit difficult. We have to reverse out directly onto the busy street without much visibility. Easy to pull in and park for the most part.
Eric LI left a brand new dolly on the truck by accident and they kept my dolly and sent me a old smaller one back! I called them and she said that was mines she was lying so no don’t recommend this place at all! My dolly was worth $400 and the one they sent back was worth about $50 might talk to my attorney I have pictures..

Brian WPeople were nice, but truck was junk and was over heating between 40-50mph and ac turns off during this. Also had reduced speed warning and truck idled.. Have picture of one of the warnings. I couldn't go on interstate so had to add extra miles traveling back roads to my house and back to drop off truck.
michael sHad to return it without actually using it because I could not fit my riding mower in the trailer. I have a 52” deck riding mower and the trailer was advertised to be a 5’x8’, but it was not the inside trailer space that was 5’, but actually to include the wheel wells in that width measurement. That was not in the details and I thought the trailer was wide enough to fit my mower. It did not so I returned it almost an hour after picking it up once the rain stopped. I basically wasted $29 since I couldn’t not use it for what I needed it for.

Derick HMy reserved truck wasn't available at my pickup time (the previous customer was late in returning it). The agent gave me a larger truck at the same price to quickly resolve the issue. When I made the reservation online, I was notified about the electronic check in (no agent required), but this option wasn't available at this location. Truck was clean and the agent was pleasant - all in all, a good experience.
Adrian HBoth the truck and trailer were filthy. Had to call them out to tag existing damages on the truck. The truck was parked behind another truck, and there was a ditch behind the truck, so I had to perform ten point turns to extract it from the location.
