Owner is completely clueless about what should do. When I'm asking him the key, he told me I should go to another gas station which I went. The owner at the other place told me I need go back the the one before! After came back then the owners for the first gas station told me oh right he should give me the key. What a jokeShuoting D.

Focus more on serving customers needs. The moving process is stressful enough without having to deal with unfriendly representatives on the telephone. The representatives in person are much more understanding. Even though my in person experience was far better the phone representatives flawed my overall experienceCordell W.
The dolly in the back was just laying around inside the truck. There was trash inside of the back. There was also a light bulb just inside the front of the truck. But other than that it was fine.Gabriel L.
Paid for and was not provided furniture pads. Asked for refund which was told would be processed. It wasn't. Had to track down owner to handle the rental, twice. Upon return, the owner expected me to parallel park the truck into a tight space. I told him no, and he asked why not. I could see he didn't want to know why, he felt as if intimidation was necessary. I did not do it. I flatly told him no. He told me to get a photo of the mileage used and I asked him why isn't he doing his job. He said it was my job? This guy was not helpful and bluntly expected me to provide him with customer service. By the way, the truck was not 15 feet it was 12. Plus he never told me to refill the tank, which I was then charged a premium for. Poor communication. Poor.Amye C.
All trucks should be cleaned regardless if the doesn't sweep out the back people uses these trucks and they transport a lot stuff so the company should or the distributor should make sure the cab area is sprayed and swiped down and the seat belts should be sprayed as well and some type notice left in the vehicle so the customer doesn't worry if it's been cleaned and the rear department should be swept out regardless if it appear to be swept and sprayed as well. Before I loaded my items I swept and sprayed for myself and my family's safety. I hope this is very helpfulðŸ™‚Jacqueline V.

I ordered the uhaul online ahead of time but then proceeded to wait 45 minutes to pick up the uhaul I had already rented. What is the point of having online reservations if you then have to go through the entire process again at the pickup place?William S.

The truck smelled like weed and smoke. The back of the truck was not clean. It was difficult to pick up the keys. I had to go to the gas station next to it to get a paper to then get the keys. It was not all done at the one address location.Gabriel L.
This location seemed a little sketchy since it wasn't a regular U-haul facility. The attendant was very nice but the procedure to drop off the vehicle was unorthodox. He gave us a phone number to text our milage to. He then asked us if we had filled up our vehicle and we told him we did not receive the vehicle full. He then said to text a photo of our first receipt that had the amount in the tank upon pick up to the phone number we texted the milage to. Did not like the whole texting transaction. Was not comfortable leaving the truck. We told him we actually filled the gas tank up to the 3/4 tank line which was more than the amount in the tank when we picked it up. Was disappointed to get a second charge to our account for going 7 miles over the alloted 59 miles in the contract. Especially when we put in additional gas. With the milage, you need to give 10 miles over the actual milage alloted from point A to point B. What if you get lost and add on milage.BRIAN M.

Picking up the truck took forever -- the guy was having trouble with the U-Haul app in his phone, and I ended up paying about 30% more than I should've: I was charged SafeMove Coverage, which I had specifically declined, and $3.75 for the so-called EZ Fuel, while the price of gas in our area currently does not exceed $2.29.Leonid S.

The furniture pads and dolly were not in the truck at pickup. I had to go to another location for them, after driving 45 miles for an available truck. I was told the cost ($20) would be credited back; it hasn't been.Robert F.
I only drove this truck for 23 miles and use it for about 2 and a half hours and I paid more for this truck than the one I rented last Wednesday for a full day from a uhaul store. I thought I was going to use it for 30 miles but I did not. I only used it for 23 miles. When I told him to corrected it he said that there was nothing he could do. I put $5 dollars of gas and left it with the same gas I picked it with. if there is cameras you can see when I did it. But the next day I received a different bill wehere the miles were corrected but the gas level was totally diferent from where I left it So I got charged $15 dollars more in Gas. I endup paying a total of $20 just on gas. I told him I did not want insurance but He told me that he could not take it off and that whoever made my reservation add it the insurance. and there as nothing he could do. So He charged me another $15 dollars. I will make sure I share my horrible experience with this guy at this location with everybody I can, And please Uhaul Company this is not the way to keep loyal customers. *When I arrived the dealer wasn't there and I had to wait extra time causing my move to be an hour behind. *I was asked to check in a second time after doing it the night before online *When the funds were withdrawn I was double billed and upon calling the dealer I was told its Uhaul's fault - did not take any responsibility for his part *Just overall not pleased with my experience. I registered online for this location and I was given a different location in Frederick, Md. even when I registered over the phone the agent still made the other address my pick up location. I've had the worst possible experience at this pick up location. I paid and checked in online and they kept me there for an HOUR because they were unorganized, unprepared, and unprofessional. They confused my truck, admitted the didnt have the keys for one of the trucks which was BLOCKING a separate truck. The two employees were arguing and blaming each other for a key mix up. And one of the employees also tried to have me pay again for my truck because he confused what was on the computer. I had to point out were it said balance due and i had to explain what HIS COMPUTER said so that i wasnt overcharged. I will never go there again and the only recommendation I have is to train these people properly or fire them or discontinue this location as a pick up for uhaul.Hanna T.

I had to run the card for the person who was talking to his friend on the ohone most of the time. I needed this truck for an emergency and he had no idea what he was doing nor did he care to figure it out. Upon return, again I had to do the legwork for the paperwork. This site needs to be trained, if they are even motivated to do anything.Michael S.
I paid for moving blankets and did not receive them. I did pre-check and it still took 30 minutes to check out. He was using a mobile device for me to confirm things and then I had to do it over again on his laptop. I had to reconfirm things that would easily be seen on my confirmation. Two different people checked us in and then out, they were both totally confused and almost over charged us $75. After 30 minutes of him trying to figure it out he had us come behind the counter and use his computer. He got interrupted every 3 minutes to sell cigarettes.Jay H.
The people running the rentals had no idea what they were doing. It took me a long time to get in and out because they had to keep looking things up. My rental was not ready until 9:00am when my pick up time was at 7:00am. Maybe someone else should be there specifically for U-HAUL'S and not the gas station people since they seem unreliable.Cristal D.

This was the worst experience! The cashier had no idea what he was doing. I started my reservation. Then after had to call customer service to end the reservation. Followed by deleting my photo Id off his phone that had several other ids on it. Horrible!Billy H.
