Truck cab was not clean. Nobody did a walk around with me. Didn't find out until I dropped the truck off that I needed to inspect it first. Nobody told me this information. Clean the truck so the next person doesn't get charged an extra fee to have it cleaned. I was not happy to get charged an extra$25 for someone else's mess. Which was not fair to me. Nice customer service, but the truck was disgusting. Filthy inside, bug ridden windshield, very old and overly used. The steering was atrocious and required a lot of work to maintain. Probably my fault for not going in to ask for something else, but we were in a hurry. I won't make that mistake again.KRAIG K.

I maid the reservation, in person, in one place and when i arrived to pickup the trailer Uhaul had moved my reservation across town and did not tell the place I rented in from or me. If I wanted to rent it from across town I would have. Apparently the place I rented it from typed me phone number in wrong. Still not happy as this is the second time I 've rented from Uhaul and it is the second time they messed up my order. Not a good average so far.James P.

I was the only one there to pick up a trailer so the process was easy; employees pleasant to work with.Arturo C.
Truck was fine except the inside stunk and windshield wipers need to be replaced. The main problem I had was not with the location but with uhaul mobile pickup. I followed instructions on my phone and was instructed to get acquainted with controls, lights, etc. As I did this, I was on a screen for an agent. I couldn't find keys anywhere. After 15 minutes of searching vehicle while it was pouring rain outside, I ended up calling uhaul directly just to find out the agent I was waiting for online would verify me and give me a combination to a lockbox to get the key. My reservation was 7am, I didn't get key until after 730am. Maybe note the entire process online so customers know they will need the online agent to get key and give an approximate time frame. I started my move behind schedule which frustrated my moving helpers and myself.Paula T.
Try to verify the trucks box isn't leaking if possible. Although I understand things happen, my surround sound system was in the overhead area and was ruined from leaking rain water.Travis L.

I would've given 1 star but the last pick up location saved the day. I had to go to 3 locations total because I was told the first 2 had tow dollies the 1st location was nasty he had glass on the parking area and trash all inside the uhaul trucks that were left open he was coughing everywhere and he was rude and should be fired I hate complaining but that was unacceptable. The 2nd location she had a tow dolly and it was broken and she had no clue what she was doing and kept calling someone else and kept calling it all stupid out loud. The 3rd location was a life saver and the were awesome best people to work with and understanding and helpful. Will definitely recommend 3rd location to anyone!!SHAWNA D.

I towed this trailer over a bridge which requires an EZ pass or Bill- by-plate, at some point U-haul should work with the toll company's to direct charge the tow vehicle. It has proven to be impossible to get anything done with the toll company to pay in advance, in order to keep the bill grime being sent to the â€œregistered ownerâ€. The pick-up location is one of the best I've used!Thomas J.

TLDR,... self check in sucks,...get rid of it asap! Immediately get rid of the customer self check in process coupled with the threat of being charged an extra $20 bucks for the convenience of having someone else check it in! I should receive a $20 discount for doing uhauls job of preparing the truck for the next person! After a day of moving items on and off the truck...no one is going to be excited to stand around in the dark taking pictures of a truck you can't even see in freezing temperatures. Take pictures of the mileage, take pictures of the side of the truck, take pictures of the back with the liftgate open, take pictures of where its parked,...allow location finding....what? ....really?.... On top of that,... I was lucky that I even had my phone with me with otherwise,...there would have been 0 pictures to upload. No consideration for the availability of data access or network connectivity. And then suggesting that all of these steps are to make it easier for the next person to find the uhaul. When you drop the key into the keybox...the next customer is going to have to go inside the office to check out the uhaul and the keys and go through this whole process all over again. Its redundant. Get rid of it asap! After this whole photoshoot experience,...that was the tipping point. I don't intend to rent from uhaul ever. I will find some other way. Uhaul used to be the go to place for moving trucks,...but after today...I feel like the someone who is being punished because of uhauls previous abusive relationships and trust issues....James B.

24 Hour pick up before site opened. Had an issue with a lock on the bay door of the truck and unknown combination. It should have been removed prior to rental. However, national site contacted the owner of the business and he was there within a few minutes to assist. Which greatly reduced the stress of the situation.Richard K.
