The staff member had no idea what she was doing. Had to make phone calls and still didn’t have answers. Told me she had no idea how trailers work or how to set them up and didn’t even know which of the two completely different trailers I was supposed to take. She didn’t even get up from behind the desk, just told me to go outside and help myself. Upon return she told me to just leave it and go, again she didn’t even get up from her desk to check anything. Told me she and her business have nothing to do with U-Haul and they aren’t responsible for anything U-Haul does.

VENKATARAMANA AI think they should be very clear about the equipment that are giving to the customer. They gave me half filled truck and I confirmed them by call that it is half and they said you can return truck at half fuel level. When I was returning the truck they demanded the fuel level at full. Fortunately I took all the pictures but they wanted me to charge unnecessary and said that you pick truck earlier and took pictures after using the fuel. Then I confronted them with the mileage. After 15 minutes of heated argument they said that we do not charge you for gas but you did not filled the gas . Then I showed them the gas receipt and then they agreed. I would never go to this location again and also share this review with them .
JARMAN SLock was not working. The dials were a struggle to move. You should service/oil the locks. After we struggled for 10 mins to move the dial, the lock itself would not budge. We struggled for another 10 mins to open it. Was about to quit and go home when it barely moved and then was about to open it to get the truck key. We wasted about 30 mins just to open the lock.
Troy SThe truck is not winter ready, I got stuck every time I stopped, it was the worst and most terrifying truck to drive with just a little bit of snow, no dif lock or traction control. Please put a disclaimer about winter driving in those units

Shubhneesh KVery Disappointing Experience I recently rented a U-Haul truck for the first time, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. First, the truck was extremely dirty both inside and out, making it clear that it had not been properly cleaned or maintained. As soon as I started driving, I noticed that the truck was shaking constantly, which made the drive very uncomfortable and even concerning for safety reasons. I’m not sure what the exact issue was, but it definitely felt like the truck was not in good condition. Another major issue was the fuel situation. When I picked up the truck, the gauge indicated that the fuel level was at ¾, but in reality, it was much closer to empty. This misleading fuel reading caused a huge inconvenience, as I had to spend $120 on gas for just 100 km, which is absolutely ridiculous. Overall, my first experience with U-Haul was disappointing. The lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and fuel accuracy made for a frustrating rental. I expected a much better experience, and I would be hesitant to rent from them again unless they improve their service.

KERRI-ANNE EI already paid online but when I check in, still I have to pay more amount. Secondly, I drove just 20 kms starting 115523 to 115543 but as per my bill I was charged for 32 kms(12 kms extra). Roughly, $0.89*12 kms = $10.68+ tax = . Also, they will never respond you on phone. I also mention my contract number (19315175) if some responsible person can see this message. I want to give negative rating but there is not an option rather than 1 star.

Harman PPrevious rental guy , left the keys inside of truck . Had to wait long time to get it resolved . Fineally , store representative. Called tow truck to get the keys of the truck. Got late around 1.5 hour from actual time until store fixed it.

Its not our fault its u-haul fault and they didn’t provide another truck. I took leave from work and its all wasted. Zero percent customer satisfaction.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Amarjot SVehicle wasn’t at invoice/requested pickup location (Bovaird) so had to travel to Main Street Location. The vehicle has mushy brakes, barely any shocks, duct taped windshield and looks like it fought a bear (and lost). Used it 1 day/trip and parked it for 4 days, then loaded up again and then returned it. Digital invoice said to drop it off at Main Street location but after an hour of waiting and speaking to someone, they said I had to pay a $400 surcharge for returning it to the location I didn’t pick it up from (Bovaird). So another 1/2 hour drive to original location I was suppose to get the vehicle from and re-inspection - nice small sign telling me UHaul office is in a Furniture shop. Have been using you for trade shows and moves for a couple decades, won’t be making that mistake again.

Aditya TI scheduled pick up 10' truck from lormal gate location but they told me to pick it up from 170a bovaird location. That was totally fine but the lady at uhaul/ furniture store was so rude she said i did not have any booking and there is no 10' truck i told and showed her email she said its uhauls fault i called uhaul and they scheduled me 15' and then i showed her that booking and she is frustrated and then she gave me keys to 10' truck even though they booked it me for 15'. I hope you guys and feel my frustration i was so pissed I always booked uhaul and i never had trouble but this was big time trouble and confusion. They should know the meaning of reservation.
Pardeep sThe rainwater was leaking like an open tap and falling on the dashboard and on the driver. I had to shorten my trip without completing the transfer because of this.

PAMELLAANN MI would like to leave a complaint and some feedback from a recent experience that I had returning my rental truck. It is supposed to be an easy process, but instead it took me 50 minutes to find the drop box at the location. The contract says Furniture Depot, and when I picked it up I went inside, spoke to the lady, and got the keys. The drop box for returning the truck is at a completely separate business. You have to walk past the restaurant next door, and go all the way around to the back of there building. This cost me money because I had ordered an Uber to pick me up, and it took so long to find the drop box that I had to call more than one Uber. I do not live close to this business. The live chat agent i spoke with sent me a picture of what the drop box should look like and it looked nothing like the building. It is not even the same brick colour. They also suggested that I return the keys in the morning, the following day.. but that would not have been possible. I just found this experience very stressful and it cost me time and money on top of the cost of the rental.

Rohit KI rent with U Haul frequently. There are truly crap places to rent from in Brampton especial the lazy idiots on Ruth Avenue. This location knows what they are doing, it was a pleasure to do business with them! Fast friendly and they know there stuff, it was just too easy! When not renting you should check out their furniture it is truly stunning! I'll be back shortly.
