KENT SReturn went smooth and owner was honest and kind. Had some connectivity issue with UHaul’s website so couldn’t confirm when I was there, indeed was a bit hesitant just leaving the key without any formal confirmation. However it call came thru soon enough and all went well so I’m pleased.
Yuxin LMy above noted comments apply here as well. The only difference between both locations is that the 900 N. Lombardy location is a very nicely set-up business, with any product one could require. The 494 Merritt location is modest, but clean. And the service by the staff was excellent, which is most important of all. Again, thank you, everyone!

Also with the fuel level i had problems like the paper they gave me marked the level of fuel and when i returned it they charged me more saying the fuel was not according to the marked level. I mean if you guys want to do that shit than come out and have look. This the second bad experience with uhual never renting with them again. The vehicle was not even in the great condition

Also very easy drop off.
Inder cWasn’t told about the charge hold for the Dolley and furniture pads when I booked online, which is misleading, and was told that if I didn’t use them, I would get a refund, which still hasn’t happened, even though I didn’t use them. Upon drop off, I was initially charged for more, than I actually drove, so I pointed out I only drove just under 10 miles and not 16 miles which was written down. This was fixed, however I don’t understand how you make that mistake because you are writing the mileage down, and happened to add extra miles?? Overall, not very satisfied, feel like I got robbed a little bit, and had to spend longer on this during the rental process and after.

sukhpal sFor the second time this summer I arrived at the rental location for my scheduled pick up and they told me they do not have the equipment. It is then a scramble for them to find me one. They said that my reservation got bumped by another customer. How does this happen. I am a multi year customer with multiple rentals per year. When the new location was identified, I have to drive to another location and they knew very little, although all the information was on the reservation, they had to re-enter it again causing further delay. In this weeks situation, it made me late for an important appointment. I have been recommending your car trailers to others in our club but will now cease to avoid embarrassment if they suffer the same issues. The only thing I get is a sorry and $50 credit. That does not make up for the time and additional travel I have to deal with.

SUKHSIMAR SI was told the original location I booked didn’t have the truck I requested and I was sent to this location which was much much further than the original location I booked. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for the extra km that the company made me drive — I was. At the pick up location, the man we met was trying to charge me for additional fuel as the truck only had an 1/8 of a tank left. After speaking on the phone with 2 different U-Haul representatives i was supposed to be receiving a credit for fuel. When I was asking about the charges, he was being completely u helpful and then pretended to not understand me. I questioned why my reservation didn’t have my name on it—it appeared as someone else’s name. He told me it was my problem that the last people didn’t return the truck with enough gas and their cars payment was declined—he was trying to carry their charges over to me. I ended up getting this “credit” which wasn’t a credit at all, it was just not an additional charge. So I paid more gas than I used as I was strictly instructed to bring it back at 1/4 even though it wasn’t like that to begin with. Everything was thrown in the corner, and there was a mess all over the floor. We had to clean up before I brought all of my things into the truck. I genuinely will never use U-Haul again. This wasted an hour of my busy day, I was late to my move in (in which I only had elevators booked for a certain time—and had to argue to for more time because of Uhaul’s mess up)

Bradley TThis is a new U-Haul location. Super convenient. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and considerate. DEFINITELY recommend using this location. I WILL be a repeat customer.
