Bad parking when picked up the truck and I wasted 45min
German RTruck was dirty. Window seal on drivers side was old and wind blew in. Had 2 towels shut in the window to keep wind and noise out. The passenger side door seal was also old and cold air blew in for the entire 23 hour trip. Warped rotors… steering wheel shook when breaking. Couldn’t go over 74 miles an hour. Couldn’t pass or drive the 80 mph speed limit.

Natashia KThe disc lock was very difficult to get into for the keys to the Uhaul truck. There was a suggestion somewhere on the page about having no pressure on the lock when trying to open it, this was critical as it was the only way to open it. Beyond that delay and some frustration, the rest of the check out process is smooth and easy.
AARON YScheduled for 9 A.M . Pickup. No one @ Location @ 9 I Called number and Greg was annoyed and stated he had to finish some work at home and would be there in 20 minutes. He did arrive 20 minutes later. I had a deadline with the move so it was tight. However, I did return the truck with time to spare. When i picked the truck up it had half a tank. he said be sure to bring it back with 1/2 tank. When I returned it i had filled it just above half. I still got charged for 2 additional gallons. The guy was a bit of a tool to be honest. So a big negative review from me.

Rebecca VAfter being overcharged $30+ making my entire rental close to $600, for going according to them 28.5mi.over alotted mileage. Perhaps they forgot to factor in loading uhaul in Fitchburg storage unit, mileage to & from Lac du Flambeau 17mi. + stopping to refuel and use restrooms. Very disappointed with this entire outcome, I await a call back after requesting a formal response.

Sara WWe rushed to empty the truck and get it there before 5:00 closing. When we arrived at 4:30 they were closed and their sign on the door said they close at 5;30. This needs to o fixed.
Monica NI was yelled at and complained to upon pickup due to a delayed pick up time. I called earlier to ask if it was okay to pick up the uhaul truck an hour later than scheduled, that I was paying over $1000 for, and I was yelled at over the phone later about being “late” and that he “had to get lunch with his wife and had errands to run after lunch and that other people had been late, and that when someone make an appointment he expects them to be on time” as well as many other complaints about prior customers, then proceeded to hang up on me. I moved across the country, which is why I ended up being late-due to 100 obligations I had prior to my move. I ended up going to the wrong pick up location and talked to a lady and told her what happened, she called the man, and was also yelled at over the phone. She reported him and reccomended I did the same. I have never been treated like this at any professional business and would not reccomend this specific location to anyone, ever.
Emily SWhen I made the reservation I selected a location 2 miles away from my house. When the confirmation went through, it sent me to a different location that was 15 away. This made my cost $45 more expensive than expected due to the $1 per mile. When I went to pick up the vehicle, it asked me to take a picture (because you cannot upload one) of a document I didn’t have. This forced me add an extra hour to the trip. The man who owned the shop told me I had to return the vehicle prior to when the contract said. The vehicle was also filthy. The passenger seat and back of the truck was filled with dirt. There was also a mysterious blue goo on the dashboard that I HAD TO CLEAN to avoid being charged for it. Do not recommend.
Caleb Swas missing furniture pads and dolly
Isaac CWe rented an appliance dolly with our truck to pick up at 7. When we got into the truck there was no dolly . Store for not open till 9 . Went back to GS skytunes at 9, it was not open , called the store number the guy was very rude and told me he would not be there for awhile go to the other U-Haul store at west Towne and get the dolly . Drove over there and they were so accommodating and nice . This whole transaction delayed our move 2 1/2 hours . In the end sky Tunes charged us for the dolly they never gave us and added on charges because we were late getting the truck back because of their delay . Will not recommend this place anyone terrible customer service . Should have read his reviews ahead of time . Would like a refund for the dolly and xtra time because of their delay thank you
Eric BGreg was not professional whatsoever. I would have rather paid $100 in mileage to pick it up ANYWHERE else. Rude and disrespectful, overcharging for things I didn’t ask for, and refusing refund. Special thank you to UHaul though, they were very helpful on the phone and was able to solve my issues with this location quickly.

caryl tTruck was NOT where the app said it was, so I could not find it. Before I even got the key, the app glitched out and said I had my truck already. No answer when I tried to chat with someone for help. Bad experience and made me even more stressed on a stressful moving day.
Michelle LMoving equipment was not in the truck. Truck was stuck in snow. Took 2 hours to get out. We were told 2 days of use. We had it for 3 and were CHARGED for 3. Customer service is not available before 9. UI for the app is awful. You close out of everything you’re doing if you push 1 wrong button (even if it’s the only one available) We were not allowed to pick a drop off time. Also UI ISSUE.
Genesys TThis guy was late by half an hour on pickup, said would be there until 6, but was gone before 5:30. Key fob too big for night drop, no other options available. The vehicle itself was fine and in good working order. I don’t understand how they maintain a franchise with this type of service.
James BHad hard time to open the lock if the key box. Very old and stuck. Took about 20 minutes to work. Had to wait more than 20 minutes waiting for customer service. The driver door need to be slammed very hard to lock.
Amr EEasy comfortable rental experience. The spot is hidden away, but very worth going to. Friendly helpful service person.
Robin PI was needing assistance which I was told by CS would be there in 30 minutes. Over an hour later he still hasn’t shown up. The issue put me hours behind cause I had to wait til the shop opened to proceed with the pick up in person.
Janeen LIf a reservation is made with additional equipment such as furniture pads, please make sure the furniture pads are actually in the truck. This is the second time I’ve rented from this location and add ons I’ve reserved have not been included.
Craig EThe uhaul automated app is way too complex and prone to failure. it took twice as long to do the pickup and the return. Using an app on a small handheld device in a parking lot trying to upload a picture of a license that meets your electronic whatever is not the proper way to do business. All it does is places all the burden of the transaction on your customer. It isn't making things easier by any means. I'll never use uhaul again.

Patricia NOwner of this business was unprepared for me and another customer on day of pickup. Uhaul also failed to contact me about a change of location, so the location I used opened two hours later than I needed plus the owner was 50 minutes late to getting to said place of business. Overall a disappointing and unprofessional experience from all parties involved

Evan WRef. customer service number 2716476. The vehicles right front tire blew out. While on the Highway. We could have been killed. It took the Roadside Assist over 4 hours to get to us because of poor communication in your company. After he finally got there and changed it, he inspected it too see if there was a hole in the tire and there wasn’t. It was a defective tire. The damn thing literally blew right off the rim. If my driver was not so experienced, we very easily could have been killed. This and all other events surrounding it are a very very poor reflection on your company. Not to mention the harassing phone calls from the guy who rented it too us even after I told him what had happened. That Asshole kept calling about his fuckin piece of shit truck while we were sitting in between a highway on ramp and speeding traffic. I’m mad as hell. I don’t think I should have had to pay one single penny for this. Refund my money

Jeffrey KThe lock boxes for the keys are too high! I’m 5’2 and could not see the lock face to enter the code. Had to have my husband come to open. The app also kept crashing-black screen. Had to call the 1-800 number and have them transfer me to the correct department to get the code. Frustrating experience!

T-Juana SGreat Location, this was the second time i booked from here. I picked up from the owner each time and both times were good experiences.
James HIt’s not marked very well. While the process wasn’t the easiest and kinda all over the place it was nice not to have to talk to anyone. It just wants the most convenient for the truck to be as far from the key boxes. I wouldn’t have known the keys were where they were if I hadn’t had a second set of eyes.

Erin BI did not receive the utility dolly I requested and, even though I was told it would be removed from my bill, it was not and I was charged for it.
Ron GDrove from Minnesota to Madison to pick up an appliance and was not given the appliance dolly we needed. I had to go to a different location and rent a dolly because you couldn't have it ready when we got there qnd no one to talk to. Had to be standing in front of the building door to check in online but the truck was in front of a completely different building so we had to start the check in hundreds of feet from the actual truck or the software kept telling us we weren't at the location but I couldn't have been more at the location unless I was inside. Not having a dolly made uhaul useless to me I can't lift a move dryer by myself. Also, it took 35 minutes from beginning to end to sign into get the truck. It just kept loading information. I will not use uhaul again. The trucks tire sensor was on the whole time including when we picked it up. Have a truck without issues for the person please. 300 dollars for the amount of issues you have as a company with your software and incompetent people preparing yiur trucks is wayyyyyyy tooooo much.

He says will email receipt and charges extra charges like more gallons of gas adding services which are not selected. Uhal reputation is a problem with this location..

Bhinder SThis satellite location was fine, but the process for getting the keys was quite unclear. Similarly, when dropping off the van, uploading pictures to the U-Haul website was clunky and slow.

Houston MVery friendly staff. Had no problem picking up the truck and it was clean with the furniture blankets we requested.
Sandra EWhen doing the self check in on my phone, between the text messages and emails I felt I had to do everything twice in terms of checking in, taking pictures as well as the check out process. I thought it was unfair that who ever was using it before me, left it on a third of a tank and I ended up getting charged for a large amount for gas.
Alex FThis place is closed until 1pm and my pick up was at 9am. I was on hold for 20 min waiting to talk to staff and was told I had a 24 hour pick up. I never got a call to confirm anything the day before or to tell me about my pick up switch up. This was a terrible experience with U-Haul
