On top of the location having a rather late opening time (10 AM) which set us back to a rushed schedule for the day as it was, all of the doors were locked upon arrival at five minutes past the reservation time. The open signs were on, lights were on, but we had no way to get in and pick up our scheduled vehicle. I called once, the person on the receiving end picked up the phone and immediately hung up without saying anything. I called again and spoke with a location employee, and it was close to another five minutes before they let us in. When I did get the keys and went out to the assigned truck, I discovered it did not have a loading ramp as requested. I went back in, they informed me that the smallest truck they had equipped with a ramp was twice the size as we ordered, and charged us more for that size truck. The process of cancelling the previous reservation and getting a new one took close to half an hour and involved a phone call to U-Haul support. This time the employee came out with me and removed the hand cart from the truck (not specifying whether or not we would be taking it with us) and went back inside. The equipment was clean and functional, but that was the only positive from the experience.

There are no signs for where to return the key. Who would have guessed that you give it to the restaurant hostess!?! Regardless, the time we dropped off and the time listed on the receipt didn't match by greater than 30 minutes. Thankfully we returned it plenty early, but otherwise we would have been charged incorrectly. It was not a positive experience.
