The store front had broken glass and was very poorly kept. The store didn’t check me in correctly and it felt like I still had to do manual steps. I was unable to put gas into the vehicle at the end and I mentioned this to the store and U-Haul and was told they would look into it and was still charged for it. The vehicle’s suspension definitely needs to be serviced as it felt very badly abused for the amount of miles on it. This was definitely not the experience I’ve come to expect from U-Haul.

Gary RThis review is for Grab and Go, 5835 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ, 85017. Employee refused to go to the rental truck with me to verify no damage, vehicle cleanliness and fuel gauge. He said drop the key in key drop box and leave. Now Gas and Go in Phoenix AZ is charging me for an extra day for $40 on a three day allowance. I rented the truck on 8/7 and dropped off the truck at Gas and Go on 8/8. Their receipt lists return date of 8/11. I was in California on 8/10 so an 8/11 return date is impossible.
GARY UI had issues trying to get the vehicle because the location did not have possession of the keys, instead the keys were inside of the vehicle behind a combination lock to which the employees at the location did not have and I also did not have. It took over 30 mins, 4 different 'Live Chats' to finally receive the code. By the time I could retrieve the keys, I could not do the pre trip checklist on the app. Horrible customer service and horrible accessibility of the app made this a stressful reservation
