The staff were great The truck was a little worse for wares. Inside the box was muddy, there was a headlight burnt out, also out side of the truck saw dirty. Other than that the truck ran fine. Judging from how many trucks were there it looks like it might be busy there for a while.

Reza MI got a call 2 hours before pickup from uhaul saying that no 15 ft trucks were available at my location and I should either take a 10ft or change my location. Im glad I didnt change locations as my location ended up having 2 15ft available. So im not sure what thr confusion was about. I was disappointed when I paid that I was charged for the coverage when I declined it at booking. Because my reservation was tossed around and changed so much within the few hours there was no way to prove that's what I selected. All in all I think its a badly disorganized company.

Brett PCheck in took mote than 2 hours, attended put wrong time of return, helpline was not working at all. Try to call multiple time but no answer, The truck was making noise from the bottom. Look like exhaust pipe mount was broken, Motor has no power at all. Only 25 bikes(aprox waight 350kg) and on highway can't go over 60km/h . Total hectic. For only 79km it took $65 fuel. So fuel economy was worst ever.

Stephen MThe truck wasn’t inspected from the previous renter. In the cab there was dirty socks on the dash, empty pop can, and the back was dirty and wasn’t sweep out. We used it for 3.5 hrs and moved furniture only. Certainly didn’t clean up someone else’s mess and told that to the guy at our drop off location in Calgary, who said he would be sure to make a note of it so we wouldn’t get charged a cleaning fee. A few months ago we did rent a U-Haul truck at another location and it was clean.
Shelley FAlways ensure your staff are knowledgeable and must be able to drive. I was not impressed by the worker who attended to me at the Balzac location. I was given a bad truck which was useless to me at the end of the day. I await my refund as I did not make use of the truck.

STEVEN KTruck was rented from Airdrie location and confirmed the day before by phone call. When I arrived to pick up truck I was told "head office" took the truck 5 minutes ago despite being told it was rented. There were no other 15 foot trucks with a ramp available. Only solution was a much bigger truck which would not fit into the space we were moving to. I was sent to Balzac location and had to waste time completing the rental agreement etc with them while paying for the movers waiting at the house. The truck I received had less than a 1/4 tank of gas. The Uhaul experience for this move was less than optimal.

OLUGBENGA SI want that Store associate who attend customer supposed to know that have to explain everything to customer, dont put any reservation time by assuming. I paid double charges only because Store Associate who deal with us did not listen carefully and also I called and requested again and he said he make request but they still charge me twice.
. MWas very easy to pick up and into fuel up on our return and to check in when I returned the unit. The truck itself was great driving there and back. Except I left a huge oil stain on both driveways the pick up and the drop off location. I forgot to mention it to the owner of the U-Haul franchise got back. The leak was on the rear passenger side near the rear wheel not too sure where that came from.

Mohammad Mthe location is good as well as the staff and supervisor who attended my needs and accommodating , friendly but the vehicle i rented need repairs , the tire pressure gauge appears when driving the cover on top where mirror is located at driver seat is broken so i need to cover my eye with my hands when driving thru sun directions also it is not clean there are coffee stains and dust.
D JId like to express some concerns about the unexpected cost of my recent U-Haul rental. When I picked up the truck, I was asked to estimate the number of kilometers I’d be driving. I carefully estimated around 500 km, which turned out to be accurate. At no point was I told that I would be charged $2.09 per kilometer, which resulted in a total charge of over $1,000 for distance alone. This was never disclosed or explained at the time of booking or pickup. In fact, the staff member seemed shocked at how far I had driven when I returned the truck—even though I hadn’t exceeded my original estimate. He didn’t mention at pickup that this amount of distance would result in such a high cost. When he asked for an estimate, I gave him an accurate estimate, based off of google maps and he didn’t seem shocked or question the distance at all. A friend of mine made a comparable one-way move of the same distance and was charged around $0.80–$1.00/km, with a total cost of about $400. Being charged more than double that rate—without warning—feels extremely unfair and misleading. If I had been told the rate at the time of pickup, I would have made a different decision. I’m asking for a full review of my charges and an explanation as to why the rate was so high and why it was not disclosed upfront. Thank you, Charissa Smith

Peter YThe brake lines on the trailer were snapped off and dragging on the ground. There was no tongue jack or any other means to lift the front of the trailer other than just brute strength. 2 of the 4 tires had defects in them with large bubbles in the sidewalls. The rental location has not been able to provide any sort of documentation to show that I returned the trailer. Terrible service, terrible product. Lucky no one got hurt.

Dipanshu SThese crooks robbed me. Simple as that. I was quoted 104 with a gas meter at 9/16. Then charged fuel for returning the truck with the gas meter at 3/8. My shock when I took a video of the trucks exterior and interior including the gas meter it was 3/8 at 557pm. I returned the U-Haul at 8pm with 3/8 which is what is on my final receipt. This is fact and documented with the information provided by the dealer location. My question considering the facts, Is it true that I was charged for fuel I never had. When I answered this question I realized the cashier, most likely the son of the owner. Maybe made a mistake by thinking there was more fuel in the truck. We can correct something like this. A $20 after hours fee when I spoke to the kid working the counter as he exited the store at 8pm the stores closing time. Insulting!!! A cleaning fee of $15 when I left a can of redbull and a Reece’s wrapper in a filthy truck. The only thing could eat for a 2h3m couch delivery . Are you kidding me. I wanted to pay with debit but the cashier said I had to pay with credit card or I couldn’t rent the truck. Only for the store to charge me nearly double the actual charge for mileage in fees. I going to ask them myself for an explanation and a refund of specific fees. By the time you respond to this message I’ll be on their property. Those bandits. Thanks for asking how my experience was I really was gunna just take it on the chin and go about by week…. But I really want answers now.

When I returned the vehicle they made a false statement of my total distance that I took the truck and wanted me to fill the gas to full when it was only slightly above a half a tank when I took it. Very dishonest retailer.
Jarred Jeverything was so perfect 0% delays just got the keys the guy who worked there was professional. Just one thing went wrong which was from my side i just mentioned wrong information about the fuel level by mistake while doing verification so that was my bad. Otherwise from u haul side everything was smooth.
. RI was over charged for my rental. I asked for a 10' truck, when they didn't have any and I would need to use a 15' i was told it would be the same price as the 10' when it was over $100 more expensive.
Brant UThey did not have some of the moving equipment that I ordered so I had to go somewhere else from U-Haul to purchase these items for our furniture covers. The Main issues are with U-haul, when I went to make payment it was significantly move expensive than I was quoted at time of reservation of this truck, I was told told any reason why and I tried to call the local U-Haul office with no answer, the attendant at the pick up point said that was the cost as no if I did not want to pay I would have to cancel my reservation and find an alternative. I had no option but to take the truck and pay the amount that was about $800 more than quoted during my reservation on line and when I called the local U-Haul office.
