The people at this location were very nice and very helpful, however, I had a reservation for a 15 foot truck and when I got there they told me my truck was in Ohio and I was in Pennsylvania. All he could do was offer me a 10 foot truck which meant I had to borrow a pick up truck off of a friend. I tried to call U-Haul to complain but I was on the phone for 48 minutes and then I had to hang up so I could drive. I will be calling them back because I think they should give meSome kind of discount for the trouble that I went through and the time that I wasted

1st of all I reserved a truck at my local u-haul center and unbeknownst to me they obviously did not have one and they defaulted my request to a gas station in Philadelphia. Philadelphia is the armpit of Pennsylvania I do everything I can to avoid the city of Philadelphia and if it was not for the fact that I needed a truck at last minute I would have never even walked in to this gas station it's filthy the truck was filthy there was dirt in the back I have plenty of pictures to prove it the truck itself was in a state of disarray the person that waited on me I never received a confirmation paper I never received a contract I never signed anything and when I returned it I just had a key the person behind the counter I asked if there was a receipt he told me no I don't know what I'm going to get charged they never checked my mileage they never checked my fuel in or out myself being a Christian man I made sure I put the exact fuel back in the truck to the original amount I took a picture of my mileage before and I took a picture of it when I returned it I have a service animal as well and the owner of a gas station told me I was not allowed in his facility because of my dog she has a coat on that defined her as a service animal I explain this to the ignorant man at the counter he did not wanna hear it kept shaking his head and proceeded to throw the key at me because I asked for the key back so I can take a picture of my mileage nobody was there to inspect the truck before or after and I really hope that there are no funny business going on with my credit card as far as charges go I rented it for A-day I only used it for a couple hours I understand that I am responsible for A-day that is fine but there was only 30 miles used I originally had said 50 but I only used 30 so I also witnessed the person behind the counter selling pills to a street person and not that that is any of your business or does u-haul probably even care and if it wasn't for Philadelphia police being so badd at what they do I would have reported it but they would never even come out but anyway the whole experience was horrible and It really left a very bad impression on me I have rented with you haul several times always using a local spot like I said they deferred me back to a Philadelphia gas station and if you really truly valued your uhaul name you'd go to this station and see what is going on there it's an absolute mess right there and their mess leaves myself with a horrible Customer experience

I knew there had to be a catch $30 was too good to be true , I used the van for approx 3 hours and it cost me $82 . $1 a mile , wow , I will never rent from Uhaul again

We've rented from the blvd location numerous times and always have a good experience. This place however Was the ABSOLUTE worst!! The truck I ordered was not available ...the truck we received shut off on us twice but the worst part was the owner of this shop. Rude, angry and aggressive. I will NEVER rent from this place again!! It's closer to our home but. It worth the aggravation. Told us to “go somewhere else he doesn't care” every time I tried to say the contract didn't match the vehicle he kept taking over me saying we weren't charged!! I was explaining that I wanted my reservation to match what I was receiving. He just kept talking louder and louder. The place itself is dirty and I think this is a completely shady operation. If I was uhaul I would not, in any capacity, want that man representing me. The worst experience ever.

The truck that I reserved was not at the location or even available at that location. I don't understand why it is on the website if it is not available at the location. It was a very big inconvenience for me as I had to make two more extra trips than I had planned, more time and more money.

That gas station was just a terrible location overall to pick up the uhaul. When I arrived to pick it up the lady told me I had to wait 20 minutes I assume because she didn't know how to do it or because she wanted to take other customers before me in which she did.

It was a shame they didn't have a larger truck, but we were able to make it work with the smaller one. The gas station also would have been an added bonus for returning, but it all worked out. The customer service was great and we were able to shop for snacks after a long moving day. We were also grateful for the long hours.

The truck came with a master lock attached to the gate preventing the latch from fully engaging. The agent tried to find a key and tried to cut it off, without success. He tried multiple times to reach a manager without success. He was never able to remove the lock and I lashed the gate to the latch slot, which worked adequately for the local move.

Well the cops came in to speak to the owner about incidents at the store. It was dirty and smelly. They sold loose cigarettes and kratom. The owner gave me the wrong keys 3 times. Left my debit card and id out for all the customers to see. Made us wait outside while the place was getting questioned by cops. Was so unorganized. Missed the check in questionarre because she took so long. Uhaul had 160 miles and grafitti all over it. Would not recommend and pretty disgusted uhaul made us go there to get it. Not the location we chose.

I was highly disappointed with UHaul. I reserved my truck at one location and had to drive over 25mts to get the truck all while accruing additional mileage. Then unfortunately, I was again informed that the drip of location that i originally picked was 5 mts from my daughter's apartment was moved from Oggantz to Philadelphia. Another 30mts and additional miles and gas. This UHaul experience created a lot of stress for me as I was driving all around in a city u don't know well at all in a 15 ft truck picked up and dropped off at locations that were out of the way and far from where I needed to be. I am very disappointed and sad that I was unable to depend on your usually good service.

They are rude gave me a smaller truck I rented a 10ft I got 9ft I ordered a hand truck and dollies for furniture they gave me 2 hand trucks and wouldn't listen to a word we said I would never go there again plus he overcharged me now I have to try to get money back such a nightmare

Clean truck, but low tire pressure (Driver front side) that was initially attributed to a “sensor problem”...however, I found a nail in the tire. Only after I said I can't take truck with nail in tire, they were helpful in getting it repaired (plugged) and refilling air in tire.

The indian man and his wife refused service to me today after I waited 30 mins inside of the store for them to get my truck ready. It didn't make sense because I already checked in online. The man was trying to ask me for my cell phone and I didn't understand why. So once I figured out why he wanted my cell phone, he became annoyed with me. I asked him if he was going to print out my paperwork with the contract and he said no. He was only able to take a picture of the contract on ,my phone. I asked why he could not print out my paperwork and his wife told me that it was because their computer was down. The man stated again that he would not be servicing me and that I could go elsewhere. I missed the pickup of my furniture so the items that I was trying to pick up were sold to someone else. I rent uhuals pretty often and I have never been treated this poorly before. This is my second time going to that location over the last 3 months. He took long the first time also but this time was unacceptable being as tho I didnt even leave with the truck. So around 3:30pm someone from uhaul called me asking me why didnt I pick up my reserved truck.

I reserved my vehicle several days in advance, the only truck available was dirty and had a broken mirror making it very dangerous to drive. They did not close my order until the next day after several calls to customer service and to the facility that did not have an answering machine. Corporate U-haul said they had limited hours whereas the attendant told me they were open 24/7, yet they were in possible to get in touch with. This added to an already stressful situation. If I had been instructed to use the APP/text service after I ASKED if they had a drop box I would have. But I was told they were open 24 hours and could drop the truck off anytime. Worst experience I ever had with a u-haul facility.

I rented A towing dolly for a 2011 Ford Explorer and it didn't fit in the dolly. The dolly was small. I picked it up in the evening and I head out of state in the to pick up the car and I was back around 1 pm to drop it off. But I couldn't get the car to fit so I had to pay $300 for towing and I returned the dolly with out using it. And I explained the situation to the guy that was there and he said sorry I can't help you if it fits or not you are charged already and there is no refund. I used Uhaul for so many years but this time was horrible I didn't get what I asked for and I got charged. Please refund my money because your dolly that I rented was too small for my 2011 Ford Explorer. I paid for no reason wasted my time and money.

The gentleman whom i rented it from (Gas Star Fuel, Frankford Ave Philadelphia PA) charged me for protection fees, even though i declined them in the original reservation, told me that uhaul doesnt allow anyone to rent a vehicle unless they pay for the protection insurance. which i know is not true considering i rent from uhaul often, for moves and such.. refused to reimburse me, i will not be using again.

Customer service was abrupt and unwelcoming. The truck we were given was vandalized with spray paint and had a leak in the gas tank. When we told the owner there was a leak, he denied it saying that it was water. It was not water. There were streaks in the liquid, which was puddling at my feet as I filled the gas tank with my own money. I had to repeat procedures that I had already completed online. Overall, the service was poor and the location was not ideal.

Most difficult and inconvenient experience EVER from start to finish. Phone call after phone call to get things confirmed and straight. Employees at 1800 UHaul rude as heck! I will never rent or use Uhaul products/services again.

Difficulty finding my vehicle because it's a small lot, vehicles were parked across the street. When returning the vehicle there was a private vehicle blocking the parking space. Location needs designated u-haul parking.

I rented a uhaul van and when i received the van it had 419 miles. Overall i drove 14 miles. When i took the van back apperantly it said that the van was suppose to have 390 miles. Thankfully i took a picture of the miles when i got it and my issue was resolved. Everyone there was really helpful. Just sometimes people make errors so if you rent a uhaul make sure that you have the correct miles on your documentation and on the actual vehicle. Overall my experience at this location was really good. They had uhaul available, the process of renting was easy and fast and the slight problem i had was resolved quickly. Would recommend this location to a friend.

Pick-up AND Drop-off Site were both very courteous and professional. Pick-up site was extremely helpful with coordinating same location of Auto transport carrier rather than making me pick it up at a further, different location. This was very much appreciated.

I was overcharged and unaware I was being charged and the charges weren't explained to me I would like to understand why I was charged 102$ then when asked about how many miles I was going to use there was no way for me to kno that for sure so I guessed and it seems I was penalized for it. 19.95 is advertised then fine print says .99 a mile i went 20miles he said which im not sure that was true but still how does all that get from 19.95 plus mileage to me being charged 102$?

We had reserved a 10' box van/truck and when we arrived the vehicle was not avalable. They offered us a van instead which we had to take because we were on a tight schedule. We were forced to leave furniture and personal belongings behind since we didn't have enough room in the van. This experience alone will force me to use another rental company next move.

I had major issues picking up my truck yesterday and after an hour long ordeal with the vendor and speaking to two Uhaul agents the vendor Finally handed over the keys to the truck. Moving is already such a stressful process which is why I have always relied on your company to help with the process, but after the events that occurred yesterday I may never use/ recommend your company ever again! I for some reason was made to get on a FaceTime video with two random men who were demanding to know where I was taking the truck. They claimed that they worked for the vendor, but were completely unfamiliar with the system. I was not comfortable giving them that information as I am a young female who was attempting to move all on my own and unaware of their intentions. When I refused to tell them where I was going they started making threats saying that they would cancel my already paid for and confirmed reservation, call the cops and "Come UP THERE" if I did not leave when all that they had to do was look at my phone screen and hand me the keys. They denied having the truck on the lot, denied possessing the keys, etc even after walking outside and looking at the truck with me. Upon realizing that the truck was on the lot and locating the keys the young man began insisting that he DID'T SPEAK ENGLISH. This was baffling to me since he had been interacting with me and everyone else that walked into the store with in yup, you guessed it, PERFECT ENGLISH! The two agents that I dealt with, one via live chat (Brian) and the other over the phone tried calling multiple. times to figure out what was going on and the person behind the counter simply ignored the calls. After one of the men from the FaceTime video showed up to the gas station realized that I was on the phone with an agent he began to demand that I hand over my phone in order for her to talk to him in which I informed him that she's been calling his establishment for quite some time now and that the ringing he was hearing was probably her trying to get a hold of him he finally answered. I was brought to tears by the people who represent your company, forced to participate in a video call that I did not want to be on. Such unprofessionalism is something I would expect from a new company, but not one that has been around basically since the birth of America.

I reserved a rental for pick up on 7/11, when I went to the Langhorne location I was told they had no rental and was told to go to alternate location 25 minutes away. Julian at Langhorne location did not help to fix the issue, only gave me the address and said uhaul policy was not to hold rentals, why than take my rental?

The store smell like weed. You have to way until the all other customer are waited on even if they come in after you of your getting a vehicle. The truck was not clean and I had to ask for the extra things I paid for. Ince done they try to charge my debt card again. Which would have put two holds on my account I had to wait until the own came and ask them to call the cop before I could leave. If uhaul change my pick to that store again I would never use uhaul again.
