I was given a vehicle with a mirror out of adjustment. When I tried to adjust it (by forcing it into the proper viewing position) I ended up breaking the mirror. Although reasonably priced, I don't think I should have been charged for the mirror repair. Also, the choice of vehicles at this location leaves a lot to be desired. U-Haul has become a very expensive option compared to discount or enterprise truck rental. It was a last-minute rental so I decided to use you again. Your mileage charge is excessively high. Additionally, I was charge for an extra 3 L of gas which makes no sense as I filled it appropriately. Regardless, for 3 L of gas to charge almost $14 is a pathetic absolute joke. Never again.PAULM S.
Was told that a 9 ft van was available. When I got there they found out it was due for repairs so I was given a 10 ft instead which I was uncomfortable about driving. I soon gained confidence with the vehicle and all was well.JAMESL M.
I rated cleanliness with no as it was the case. Since however it was far below zero degrees I might just have been the reason for not being pressure washed on the inside. There would have been ice quicker than it could possibly dry out.Arnim H.

I can honestly say that I got excellent customer service from Jess at the Wasaga beach location she was very courteous to us and when we were going to be late returning the truck she walked us through the process. The only negative thing I have to say was that when we returned the truck we needed to put a little bit of gas in but no gas stations were open and I was charged $30 for something that would have been about $10 dollars to top up and that's not fair, so I feel uhaul could give us a break on that cost. But other than that young Jess provided excellent customer service.ALEXANDERJOHN A.

We were not able to use the truck at all because it was not safe for the road. We dispute this charge completely and expect a full refund. We have been in touch with the local U-Haul center and with the central call line and they still charged our card. We arrived for our pick up time and the Truck was buried in 2' of snow. It took us 45 minutes to uncover the truck. Finally, after that, the employees arrived. The truck got stuck several times before we even got to our first stop. We then discovered that this truck didn't have snow tires. At this point we realized that it was dangerous to even try to use this vehicle. We called U-Haul and were told there are no trucks with the snow tires necessary for Ontario winter driving. It resulted in us having to quickly find another vehicle which we rented from HOME DEPOT and it had proper tires! This ended up costing us another rental, time and scrambling to meet our delivery time in Toronto.Lembit J.

On Saturday drop off during normal working hours, there was no staff present at the location. I called the phone number on the office door and they directed me to just drop the trailer in the parking lot.Bryan B.

My drop off location was different from when I booked. I had to drive an additional 10 km from the location on my initial online booking. Was not told this at pick up. Called in to UHaul and was transferred around. When I finally was speaking with someone who could help me the call dropped. I did not receive a call back. I wasn't about to go through that circus again. The employee at the drop off location was very polite and helpful even though the location was busy at the time. She was able to process me quick so I could get on my way.Bradley M.

1928 Mosley is good place but Barrie location not so accommodating. Truck and flat bed trailer was booked well in advance but not available together for pickup. I had to travel 60 km to get trailer trailer. Very disorganized set up.MANUEL V.

Make sure all signal lights work! One was out on the trailer I rented and it made my brother nervous driving to our location...2 turns were necessary and the signal light was out..............staff knew about this before we left the lot but didn't say anything.........MARIONK K.

Maybe Uhaul should check with place of pickup to see if equipment is ACTUALLY available before they confirm and book. I am happy with the place of pickup, NOT so happy with Uhaul booking!Robert R.

On the day before pickup a rep from head office called to say my rental trailer was two and a half hours away one way to pickup. Totally inconvenient but at the last minute what other choice did I have. I will not do business with U-Haul again. However the Wasaga Beach location was exceptional for their service level when I arrived to pickup the trailer.WAYNE H.
I was happy to find a new U-Haul location in my area. As for service I was disappointed (as was the person behind the desk, whom in their words received little to no training) that it took nearly 30 minutes to process and secure payment (Visa), especially since most all of my information was already in the system as a repeat customer and through the booking.JAMESW A.

With the covid pandemic I would of assumed cleaning be mandatory. The truck had coffee stains on the seats, in the cup holders and the truck was full of cigarette ashes and crumbs. Inside the cab there was leftover Wendy's with old food and drink and used tape on the floor.Doug H.

Are you kidding me? U-Haul sucks. I drove over 200 km to four different U-Haul locations even though originally I had reservations and two other times I got reservations before I could actually get a trailer. You were all horrible at U-Haul. I doubt I will ever rent from you again.STEPHENL B.
