I actually had a horrible experience with U Haul. We had made a reservation two months before we needed the 20ft truck. Less than 24 hours before we get a call saying that the truck we needed was not being returned. Now we had to be out of our apartment on June 30. How can call to tell someone one June 29 at 6pm that we would not have a truck to remove our belongings. Also, knowing that this is a long weekend and majority of people do move. This put my family and I into a panic because the person who called prettt much said “oh well nothing I can do for you”. Well there is actually a lot that can be done to rectify the situation. For starters call around to other locations to see if a truck is available. Second if there is one available elsewhere get it to the location near us OR compensate for the extra mileage we would now be using to get from a further location. But of course not because that would be good customer service and too easy of a job to do. Finally after calling U Haul customer service back a gentleman was able to help us find a truck. Was it a 20ft truck? No it wasn’t but what can we do, we needed to be out. We had to pick up the truck from a further location and then make multiple trips to load and unload the truck. What should of cost us less cost us way more because of the very poor customer service we received. I am beyond appalled and disappointed in this.

The manager and the representative at the location was very rude.. I am 9 months pregnant and they made me come there three times and made me fill fuel twice.. just because the fuel after 2 days of dropping the truck was a pinch below the quarter.. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.. WORST LOCATION EVER

The truck itself was very much in need of work. The drivers side mirror did not stay in place after it was adjusted. The brake and gas pedals were very unresponsive to where I would need to hold down the pedal for 3-5 seconds before anything would even happen. When it finally did respond it was took forever for it to change gears. On top of that once I had loaded my belongings into the truck it wouldn’t start! When I did get it started it wouldn’t stay running unless I put it into drive. This truck should not even be on the road never mind charging people extra for fuel that was refilled properly. Overall a very poor experience.

not sure why I was asked for an alternate contact... I had none, and ended up providing my boss' info which I am not comfortable with at all. I rent from other places and never have to do this... this is not my boss' business, and I will think twice next time



This was not a standard pickup facility from Uhaul. The employee was fine but don't go to this location expecting to find their moving products.

I was very dissapointed with my latest experience. I have rented and been in may Uhaul vehicles and this by far was the worst one I have experienced. The alignment was very off as I was steering straight but the steering wheel was very crooked. Also when steering there were weird sounds coming from the steering wheel. The truck was very sluggish and uncomfortable to drive. Also the passenger side door did not close properly which was very loud and distracting. Overall this experience was horrible and dissapointing considering the amount of times I have used your services.

I filled the vehicle up with gas to the same level as when I took it out and the clerk tried to yell be it was below the level. I wish I had taken a before and after photo of the fuel gage to prove it was the same. I spent money filling it up with gas AND I was charged $30 dollars by U-Haul for a gas fee. I’ve used other locations before, but I’ll never go back to this one

I am very disappointed with your service and your ability to pass on information to your customers. It is important that you explain to your customers verbally in combination with the bulky brochure you give us to read. Moving houses can be a very stressful process. So I expect that At the point where I am signing the contract you explain to me all the charges I would incure. I rented your truck for a few hours and was only informed that i was going to pay about $1.52 per litre if the gas went below what was in the truck when I picked it up. It sounded fair to me considering that I was in a hurry. I was not however informed that there would be a 30 dollar service charge. However to my dismay when reading the receipt I noticed that the actual cost of the gas was about 11 dollar something and the service charge was $30. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am not sure if your staff usually informs your customers or if she was distracted the day I picked up the truck. Because I recall there was a new staff under training and we had to be patient as the new staff was just been taught what to do. I am absolutely disappointed in your service and would not be recommending you to any body.
