MICHAEL SThe location itself was fine, but I had originally scheduled to pick up a truck in Keswick and didn’t know the truck would only be available in Pefferlaw until 24 hours before the scheduled date and time. If there wasn’t a truck available in Keswick first thing in the morning, why even offer that option?
Caio MThis was the worst experience I have ever had! Check the call logs. I don't have the energy to explain through text . I want to be compensated for the unprofessional disaster of a day i had. The only thing that would improve my experience is to NEVER use uhaul again.
Brook HLocation was easy to get to, super convenient. I was dropping off on a Saturday and no one was working. Unfortunately there is a lack of cellular service as well as the the app was glitching out and not working. Had to wait on hold for 20 minutes so I could talk to a U-Haul representative to return the truck.
Spencer WGood experience with the location but horrible experience with the overall process of booking and securing a truck. Original location was suppose to be in Oakville, 5 KM away from my home. I received a phone call less than 24hrs before pickup indicating me that I needed to travel 280 KM return to the nearest location. A modest $50 was given to me to compensate for gas and wear on my car. The location in Pefferlaw was spotless and clerk was friendly and redirected me to UHAUL to address my concerns. He even commented on the fact that I had to travel all this way up north for my pickup. Compensation Additional KMs is not what I was looking for as , it was U-Hauls responsibility to give me a heads up ahead of time and not 24hrs before my pick up time. I was told that a monetary compensation would be applied. No other communications since. I have yet to be contacted by anyone to follow up on my original calls.
Stephane LLocation was great, the app was absolutely awful. It crashed like 6 times while I was trying to sign out the truck.... the push to automate is too far. There was a person there that could have help, a live human... right there. But he was unable to bc you are now so wholly dependant on your buggy app. I will be deleting the app and likely using a company that has in-person service (rather than app based) in the future.

Marilyn CThey switched our vehicle to a smaller one without notice. They changed our reservation to something called 24/7 which was impossible to manage using the app and web options. It took well over an hour and two phone calls with U-Haul to get the code for the key to pick up the truck. The app kept crashing on us.
Naomi EI've rented u-haul trucks many times. When things go right, it is a good experience. This time, I spent over 2 hours getting the keys to my truck that I booked over a week prior. Somehow the reservation was linked to my account, but not properly linked (whatever that means). I have no idea why I had to spend 2 hours on the phone with u-haul to get the truck. Very frustrated.

Debbie CI was told if I called the traffic number all would be easily sorted out on the phone. When called was on hold 10 minutes, then transfered to another number and waited again. All needed to be done on internet. My 32 year old son, fairly tech savy was frustrated with the whole system. Took around 30 minutes of total frustration to say the least. Megan tried her best with great patience and we thank her. I hope to never have to go through this again especially for the money spent.
Ryan GUnfortunately, due to the customer service supports of the over arching uhaul company and their lack of any sort of remorse for their rude staff and the games they play when putting you in contact with a manager after they suggest it, I will be telling everyone my honest and truthful experience and recommending no one use uhaul in general.
Rob CThe app check in was a problem iit took 45 min and 2 phone calls to get it done. Possibly because I booked by phone? Anyway it could be great if it worked. I could not get to the pick up my truck window. I had to photograph my license twice and myself. I chose not to drop off with the app to avoid frustration

Michael BThere was a truck blocking the entrance to return the trailer so I had to unhitch the trailer and move it around to the return area by pushing it .,.,.,., the entrance should be clear !
Chris KNo information on what to do to get access to keys. Had requested a dolly and other equipment but nothing was present in the truck. Had to call UHaul to figure out how to get access to the lockbox with the keys which took about an hour.
Stuart LThe experience on picking up the truck was the worst experience in renting a vehicle I have ever seen 3 different times my pickup location was changed. I finally was able to sucker a vehicle half the way to the location I was going to only to come back load and drive pass where I had picked the vehicle up. CRAZY. Would never use Uhaul again I would try one of the other vehicle rental companies.
Peter MThe Pefferlaw location had very slow internet service. My check out took almost 45 minutes because the drivers licencse and credit card entry part of my check out kept "timing out" The people were great. The trailer was clean. The problem was with their terrible internet service.
