Nick is a great ambassador for UHAUL. He is very competent and takes the time to explain all the options. When I picked up the van he made sure I was comfortable with the features and and questions I had.

I was two hours late returning the vehicle and I was not charged anything extra and I also put too much gas in and I think I'm very pleased with the service I acquired. I had to wait approximately 1 hour before my invoice was ready to leave with the truck but overall excellent service

The mobile process took over an hour to complete at the time of pick up. I was not happy or impressed with that. Had I known it would take that long I would have just waited for the regular business hours. We chose the mobile way because we needed the van earlier . I would suggest to do all the verification for the rental agreements before the desired pick up time.

went to 2 other locations before finding one that would take back the trailer (others only take trucks) - dealer had to call around because trailer did not match info on sheet (wrong size wrong numbers) - acted like we did something wrong...plus 2 phone calls from Uhaul wondering where the trailer is and an email that didn't know we returned it already...it would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic...never again

The mobile cell pick up is ridiculous. It took me over 35 minutes with your chat rep, who couldn’t help me and your 1-800 rep to finally pick up the truck. Apparently I had to provide a secondary contact to verify that I was renting the truck but that info wasn’t provided when I booked the truck over a week in advance. Horrible horrible cell pick up process.

Everything was fine this time except explaining how the costs worked. What I was told I had to pay on my reservation was substantially less then what he told me and I wasn't able to figure it out until I got my bill and seen how the bill was broken down. More patience when it comes to questions, didn't go over vehicle or anything. Nothing was really explained. He took my ID and bank info and printed me out a quote and when I asked questions, it felt like he was brushing them off. Sayin it will be figured out in the end, but I wanted to make sure I knew where the costs were coming from so I could keep them as low as possible. He did explain some things, but quickly. It wasn't a bad experience, but it felt like if everything was good to go on the computer, he just wanted to give you a quick rundown of what he needed to and then be on your way. No time to make sure you were 100% comfortable driving and knowing how to drive it. They were as friendly as you'd expect though. If your a seasoned driver of larger vehicles and know how the costs work from previous experiences, you would be happy with this place and the speed. If not, you may want to find another place that isn't as busy and more geared to new customers. One thing I will say, the lack explanation and being fully informed could be due to how busy they were and the demands of the customers. Like I said, not a bad experience.

Give me a Truck that works. Had to boost battery to even get started on my trip. Got stranded twice because truck would not start. Owner was not helpful. I will not return to this location next time. U-Haul should approach this site owner about his poor service and attitude. It was a waste of my money.

Very convenient location. Lady behind the desk seemed a little confused by the registration process. She asked me all the relevent questions though (who was driving, did we want insurance, ect.) The process was quite painless. Drop off was very quick.

Fuel was less then half a tank. I adjusted on my paper and went back in. He said he changed it in the computer.. I returned the truck with more fuel the it had when I got it and I was charged $15 top up fee. Inside of box was dirty and their was food wrappers in the cab... When i called pickup location to book the truck he mis spelled both my first and last name. So I never got a call about my pickup and called uhaul.ca to confirm I was over 30mins trying to get my booking as my name was spelled wrong(badly) my name is Lance. He had Noance. My last name is Parsons he spelled it Person. I spelled both for him when I called. This location is poor.. and over charged cuz of lack of organization and just flat out lied to me. Not happy at all!

Allow me to clarify- U haul as a corporation provides excellent service when it comes to customer service. Perhaps there may be some issues regarding refunds issued and contracts, but AT least the staff you speak with from U haul corporate directly are very professional. HOWEVER, as I've learned from Nick Patel- their "propriators" are not held to the same corporate standard. Nick colourfully (while pointing to his 5 year U HAUL dealer plaque and calling me a Cocksucker) told me that he has nothing to do with U haul beyond drop off and pick up. I rented a trailer from here and set up a drop off location of province. U Haul called me on my trip to ask to change locations, and I asked if I Could just return the trailer to where I picked it up. They indicated this would be no issue and that was that. Well, as I learned from Nick, U HAUL is a mess of paperwork and managers of managers. If he issued me this refund, his manager, or manager of manager (I cant quite understand) would come down on him. From my perspective this was kind of confusing, and I asked if he would at least call U Haul to figure it out. He said no, and of course this was upsetting. As the situation continued to escalate- he managed to turn his computer around to me and show me the entire back end of the U haul system. Very interesting stuff I guess from a customer perspective to learn? Not something I've ever really had anyone do. If your going to rent anything from this company, DO NOT go to what was explained to me as a contractor for U haul. I called and made my arrangement at a U Haul centre and they sent me to this lovely paradise on earth, The Glen Haven motel. Do yourself a favor, stick with the corporate locations to get the same type of treatment you'd expect from any reputable establishment. Even though Glennhaven has a ton of U haul's there (more than anyone staying at the motel) they apparently "run their own show". This guy cusses like a sailor!

So far, the rent has been charged twice to my credit card. Once the "pending" status has been removed, I will see if it is charged wrong. Then I will need to follow up !

15ft truck we reserved was unavailable, apparetly due to engine breakdown. Replacement 1uft truck had drivers side door latch broken. Dealer assured me I could drop off vehicle next door at U-Haul rental office (1865 Adelaide St, London ON) but the next day they refused to accept it. Had to drive to Clarke Rd/Trafalgar location to drop off and pay $35 cab fare back home. Main U-Haul call centre gave me $50 credit on my Visa card, but the $15 extra did not offset the time loss or the frustration of my experience.

They invoiced me, and I called to question why I was charged a cleaning charge when I cleaned the truck. I was late but I had told them we were going to late as my some was sick. We moved 4 large items in, and that it it was not a mess. My boyfriend called to ask why we were charged for cleaning and he said he won’t talk about it further my boyfriend said show me a pictures. 40 mins later I received a new invoice he charged me an extra day, we called back he said he charged us because we don’t deserve it

Sadly we had a terrible experience. We rented an enclosed trailer for 2 days and called the motel to verify, and the man I spoke to was rude, threatened to NEVER RENT US ANOTHER TRAILER, as he said the trailer had to be returned the next day, not a 2 day rental! He HUNG UP on me twice!! Extremely disappointed as we have rented NUMEROUS TIMES from this dealer.(was the father that treated us beyond poorly) NOT IMPRESSED! I would be happy with some sort of compensation for this experience as it was appalling that a dealer would treat a customer this way!!! NO EXCUSE!! They charged me over $100 for ($60) for not returning the blankets which I never received. $30 for gas even though I returned half full just like I got it. I returned the truck exactly like I picked it up and now I have to fight the charges.
