First, it took almost 45 minutes in line to get the vehicle. Only two customers ahead and one person attending to them. Store manager was using an iphone 7 with a tiny screen for the rental details. Slow!! Slow!! Slow!!! The initial vehicle assigned to me was barely roadworthy, noisy power steering and noisy brakes; didn't seem like it had been driven in a while and yet the store manager assigned it. The vehicle was still at the location when I returned my rental and will likely be rented to another person.Olurotimi F.

when we tried to pick up our rental it was double booked, so we had to go into store and sort it out. Took half an hour to get another van, so was a little bit of an inconvenience, and when dropping of it was not registered, so I had to go in a few days after and it was showing that we had not returned it when we had. the staff were helpful an solved the problems for us.Jordan H.
I had requested a dolly. None were available at this location. I was only advised that none were available nearby. The staff did not check if any were availalbe. On a long trip cruise control would be benificial.Jerald M.
I found it a bit disorganized as 2 customers were booked for the same truck ðŸ˜…or so we thought...but great service to get the issue sorted out... a customer though they had rented the same truck I was about to drive away with( they were using the mobile site though and I had reserved it shead of time) none of this was in any way the fault of this pick up location-but they did help us resolve the issue 100%Trish C.
We still don't know how much the final cost was 24 hours later. They wouldn't give me the bill and said it would be emailed to me, but never was? He just said it would be the same as the estimate I got when I picked it up. Seems random that they only estimated the mileage at pick up as they had no idea where we were going. Their estimate seemed much higher than the actual mileage. He was actually kind of rude and dismissive. It wasn't the same person there on return as when we picked it up.Norman S.

I specifically called in and said i did not want a Mobile checkin, but when i got there the agent said i had booked a mobile checkin. Which made unhappy - so he proceeded to process me in over his phone and took pictures of my license WHICH IS SPECIFICALLY WHAT I DID NOT WANT!Peter W.

When a person rents a vehicle for more than one day and you start getting phone calls the same day saying you're late in returning your vehicle I think they need to read the contractgrant M.

The vehicle was damaged all along the left hand side from a previous rental, the front left tire was low on air for pick up and the alignment was out oh the vehicle quite bad. To top it off the vehicle didn't have a ramp as advertised on the site for loading nor did it have a flat box all the way through like advertised, the vehicle was also in mph opposed to kph and this affected who could drive the truck. The pick up for after hours was drawn out and horrible and took much longer then it needed special considering I gave most of the information preemptively as suggested after making the reservation, also the process makes you agree on condition of truck before you're able to get the key, which wouldn't of been a problem if it didn't have another vehicle so close beside it I was unable to see or get beside it to view it full on top of the extremely poorly lit surrounding and lot due to this I was unable to see all the damage along the left side. Over all I was extremely disgusted and disappointed with this U-Haul rental as in the past in other city's it's been a painless, quick convenient experience. I would not rent a U-Haul from this location again and I would think twice before renting another U-Haul in general.John W.

Was charged for items I never had over charged for extra days on dollies (charged for 3 days) requested a furniture dolly but never received it, than confronting the owner of the store got yelled and sworn at. Problems with the computer registration on pickup and drop off. Took 20 minutes on pickup and 15 on drop off. Truck did not seem to be sanitized inside. No walk about to point out damage etc. Pretty uncomfortable with only one person in the store and other customers are lining up when problems arise. Other rental locations including Uhaul locations provide more customer service. Truck oil change light was on the whole trip.HARVEY T.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, Iwas told inPERSON rates when I made the reservation and cost for truck and gas . On the daofpick up I gottexts telling to pre-register for pick up,I did and Noticed the RATES WERE NOT the SAMEas I had been told IN PERSON when I made the reservation I called,the guy on the phone was Rude and said,I dont have to rent the truck to You.I got to the location and of course that guy WASN'T there.I complained and told my stiry to the lady,who wasmuch nicer!!.Then Ihad to take the truck out MYSELF from the Back yard SMALL COMPOUND and it was VERY DIFFICULT. NOBODY HELPED and I literally wasted 20 minutes trying to inch by inch get the truck out of the back yard with about 10 other huge trucks .When I returned the truck the NEXT DAY I thought because I used LESS THAN 30KMS that $10was Enough gas.The attendee said it was ok HE WONT CHARGE ME BUT HE DID ANYWAY ,NASTY !!!! I was very disappointed in this Locationand having rented from UHAUL MANYtimes I can HONESTLY say This Place was very DISAPPOINTING.Nora L.

The store is dirty and the owner is grumpy. The lady who helped me after I returned the equipment was very nice. Overall an ok experience, communication is needed. None of the apps worked properly. They did not have the equipment we booked and paid for. It was impossible to find the lock box for the 24 hour pick up. We were told late the night before that they had changed our pick up location from where we had booked to this one which is 20 km away. Terrible service. The apps crashed constantly and th promoted mobile pickup was a complete failure.DAVID C.

The customer service, from reservations and booking to pick up to return, was very helpful and courteous, each person. One thing though, I was charged for two dollys but I only had one. The person at return send it would be fixed because sometimes the system (computer) just adds things. But, in the end I paid for a second dolly that I never had on my trip. The Staff insisted that I park my car on the street, without checking if there was actually a space. The greatest disappointment for me was that I told him I'm only renting for less than 2hours and there was enough space in front of the store to accommodate additional 4 cars. The voice tone was more like someone who got pissed by something not sure what it was but I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.Mohammed A.
They charged me 18 dollars for fuel even after I filled to the correct level. Unprofessional to say the least. They did not have adequate staff leaving the responsibility of taking in 4 different uhauls to a 20 year old kid way over his head, who did not do a bad job due to his situation. They are basically taking advantage of people with no other recourse on the first of the month. When it comes down to it most of the people renting these can't afford any other charges, when the rental market is unhinged and unaffordable this uhaul location is anything but your friend.Curran C.

There was no drop box even though we were told by Uhual to leave the key in the drop box. A random guy walked by and called the owner of the store (it 11pm), who told is to leave the key in the mailbox of the barber shop next door. when I called Uhaul all they could say was we'd have to come back the next day when the store was open to give in the key. The truck we wanted was not available upon arrival. We were instead offered a smaller vehicle, in a shorter timeline. To make up for this we were discounted a rate, but it was a challenge to get it all sorted. Would no longer recommend Uhaul or this location. I had called the night before to confirm that the truck we rented would be available, however, when I arrived it was not there, and would not be so for hours. I was ignored given the run around, with no offer of guidance advise, or concern. There was nowhere close to park my personal vehicle, while I used the rental. So, I had to park 3 blocks away, so I wouldn't get a ticket, or towed. I felt like an annoyance to the store owner, and was not given any sense of respect as a paying customer.Tyson G.
