The owner was rude and didn't offer to explain how to use the controls in the truck. I also snapped at me anytime I asked a question. I was also very unhappy that I had to drive so far to get the truck which ended up using a lot of gas for the way back to where I lived, (even though I saw 3 10' trucks in a local Uhaul facility by my home). You changed location of pick up 2x right before the day I was supposed to get it which was very frustrating and inconvenient. The truck I received was a piece of crap and dangerous on deep slopes due to shitty brakes. I most likely will no longer use Uhaul because of this experience Awful, awful!!!!!!!

Be on time for the reserved pick up time. Do not tell the customer to leave when we clearly want to discuss what we will be charged. We did not have a good experience at all. Service was just horrible.

I rented a chevrolet pick up truck, Silverado. it is 8 cyclinder. I drove 10 miles total. I Had to put $4.40 of gas, at $2.99 a gallon in to bring to the level I got it. ALMOST 1 1/2 GAL OF GAS TO DRIVE 10 MILES... According to Chevrolet, this model should get 14 miles to the gallon, city driving. I got just less than half that... Poor vehicle maintainence? I told proprietor, but just attributed it being an 8 cyclinder, which is why I researched it because it didnt make sense. Note vehicle was not loaded with any heavy cargo that might have impacted mileage.

9 ft cargo van. good vehicle for the job. Only disappointment, the side mirrors require manual addjustment. No electrical control.

when one advertise a price of $19.95 per day and once you start the paper work, you get this bate & switch deal as now you have to pay for every mile and other items which brings your original to 3 or 4 times the 19.95 price. why not just advertise $19.95 plus mileage in bold letters?

The lot was small and overcrowded. Picking the van up was fine, but dropping it off was terrible. They had 2 U-Haul trucks blocking the entire lot. I had to wait 15-20 minutes just to pull the van into the lot to return it. There was no one around to assist either.

I arrived and the vehicle that I rented was not available so I ended up having to rent a truck which worked but was harder because the vehicle was open so it caused us to have to take several trips so that the items would not fall out.

The clerk took too much time to set up my account and give me the keys. I couldn't take a uhaul before they opened because the driveway was blocked. So I lost 35 minutes of my rental time. There were no other clients, so imagine if they were more! When I was waiting to get my bill after I return the car, another person came and distracted the clerk. It was very rude. Customer service was not good, but the car was in good condition.

I was never told to do a pre inspection on Saturday when I rented a 10' box truck and on Sunday when I rented a cargo van. I was then charged for $100 for a scratch that I did not cause after I did an after hours drop off. I have driven vans and box trucks since I was 16. And yes sometime those vehicles in working conditions get damaged and go through wear and tear but there is no way in hell that this scratch was caused by me or someone else while I was renting this as I was within line of sight of the van for the whole move on Sunday as I had just a few boxes to put inside of it.

I had the truck for less than 2 hours and was charged almost $85. The place wasn't well kept, the one worker who helped me was rude and unorganized, and he didn't even describe what the papers were that I was signing. Sure, it did the job but $85 for an hour and a half and only putting 5 miles on the odometer? I won't be using this U-Haul location again.

It was not a uhaul only had to drive in Wendy's and back out and back into parking lot to get trailer. had to wait almost an hr after time we were told for someone who spoke english to come hook up the trailer. Poor customer service and lots of our stuff had black marks on it from dirty truck!

The guy was late, he didn't have the vehicle I needed, was unclear about several things, did not listen to me when I explained how long I needed it and seemed to get mildly hostile when I tired to explain the situation. Not coming back to the uhaul will go to a different location.

Social distancing safeguards were not in place, and that made me uncomfortable, because the office space was small. But the office was open at the hour it was supposed to be (even though lots of businesses close early these days), and the check-in was painless.

Only issues was I wasn't explained the entire pricing process. I was only told the $19.95 to rent and insurance that I added for $10.00. Nothing else was explained at all, and then I receive a piece of paper that has other charges with a total being $69.00. I'm a person who hates surprises and would like to be told all information up front. I was a on a tight budget since moving is expensive, but a friend was letting me borrow a truck. I thought I was getting a deal, but I was wrong. It's not an issue about the money, just wish I had all the information up front to make a decision that was suitable for my situation. Other than that the guys were nice, vehicle was very clean and the process was easy.
