I got a uhaul at this location last week as well, the last week I got one the engine light came on so I only got a little bit done. The first attendant I dealt with this time around was good. The owner of the shop was rude. I wouldn’t want to deal with him or the trucks there again.

They ignored us when we told them where we needed the Uhaul to, and set the mileage as only being from pick up location to drop off location (which, they changed the drop off location to one even further from our destination) and their negligence to our specifications cost us some of our deposit and created some confusion and wait with our drop off.

Rude, inconsiderate embarrassment for U-Haul. He insisted we park on a grade to measure fuel and argued strongly before allowing us to level vehicle to inspect. Loud, obnoxious and refused to sign that the vehicle was delivered in the expected condition. Untrustworthy. Do NOT have anything to do with this location. One star is much to high.

The younger Korean guy is very abrasive for no reason. I reserved a 20 foot truck and two pieces of equipment, when i arrived he couldn't find my reservation even though I had the emails and reservation number. There was a 10 foot truck available and 1 piece of equipment that I needed so I got those instead but the entire conversation even though I was friendly, felt like I had done something wrong because he was so irritated. Truck was fine though and the older gentleman was polite and kind.

They charge more than actual money. My actual account is $70 something with all the taxes on receipt but from my bank they deducted $86.46.

The gentleman that seemed to own (?) the location was EXTREMELY abrasive. There was a language barrier that felt difficult to overcome, and so he called an associate to check us in/out. The associate (Jaedon) was absolutely fine to deal with, but the owner acted completely inappropriately and got irate with us when we made a request to switch from a 15' to a 10' truck upon seeing how large a 15' was. Finally after I informed him that he was acting VERY RUDE, he calmed down enough and was slightly more personable about what I was asking for, but otherwise he was aggressive, rude and left me feeling not confident that I wasn't being scammed. When we returned our truck, we witnessed him badgering another customer who was simply trying to ask if she could rent a hitch. His associate on the phone was also very frustrated with him. This experience left us feeling bullied, confused and exasperated and we would never rent from this location again.

I was at the 1st location ( Miller st) were i ordered my trailer. They had in stock but could not give to me. " My trailer was in Ontario " so I did not get my trailer. 45 minutes later the Miller st location did find me another trailer. I had to go out of my way to pick up the trailer. Wasted my time.... I was not happy I was lucky the service at the other Uhall place was great.he got me on my way very quickly ... Over experience was awful. I wasted my time and had to rush to complete my move. The Miller location ... awful...disappointed in the service

I give the young man behind the counter a 5-star. Excellent customer service 👏 👌 He explains thing clearly, answers questions calmly, and when you don't get it, he would repeat the explanation or the task without the slightest sign of frustration.

Talk to the owner about his behavior, its not appropriate to be yelling at customers over having to walk inside because they don't feel comfortable handing keys to a stranger with no nametag or any indication that he works there. It's unprofessional to say the least

The staff were not there often. We had to work through the carwash operator. He kept putting us on his cell with uhaul staff. The truck worked OK. But the starter often struggled to turn over. It did start, but I worried that we might be stuck in the middle of the prairies. Upon returning it, the staff told me to drive down the block to fill the tank to avoid the $12 fee. It took $11.00 to bring it up to the 1/4 tank mark.I would never rent from this office again.

The man on the location bearly understand and speak english so not good experinece with him. Also, Uhaul charged me double which is also not good. I have opened the ticket but so far i didn't get any update on that

Everything was fine overall. We rented a 10-foot vehicle for a day and paid $72 in total, including fuel and coverage. We drove about 20 to 25 km. The person who assisted us on the first day was okay, but didn’t seem very welcoming—he seemed like he didn’t enjoy dealing with customers. 😶

I felt awful using this location. I made my reservation to pick up a U-Haul truck and it felt like I was wasting the employees time when I went to pick up the keys. I couldn’t even get eye contact from the young man I spoke with. Then when I picked up the keys and got the truck to my first destination, my partner and I opened the back hatch, the truck was filthy covered in fresh mud. (Imagine moving your personal belongings and having to clean the truck before you start loading it up just so you can move large pieces of furniture. It was very disappointing) When we went to drop the truck off, an Asian man instantly took the keys and wasn’t very clear on what we do; do we inspect the truck together, Check the fuel levels and mileage together. It wasn’t very clear. When I complained About the condition of the trucks cleanliness, the man accused me of making it dirty and was prepared to make me clean it when I already had; I showed him my towels I used to clean their trucks mess. He also proceeded to call me “woman” and telling me to “go home”. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I then watched him fill a half gallon bucket and throw water into the truck bed. (It explains why there was wet mud in it when we picked it up) I tried to ask about what to do about finalizing my bill and again was met with “go home, it’s done” when it didn’t feel done. I had no idea if they were going to over charge my credit card or if it needed a refund since my travel was shorter than my estimated trip. I just didn’t feel good about using this locations service which really sucks since I had used it before a few years ago without incident. At the end of the day, I will not use this locations service which again, I will not recommend to my friends or family, I will avoid this location and it’s horrible service.

Need to have a person there in person to due up paper work and get you going instead of doing everything over the phone. Over the phone very awkward and confusing very impersonable.

The location is not good. The customer experience was not friendly. The owner/manager did not speak English. I was greeted as if I was interrupting him. He handed me a phone to speak to someone who then sent me a text so that I could text a photo of my license. It went fine, but this person on the phone also spoke to me as if I was ruining his day. When I would speak he did not reply and then after a few moments of dead air, I would say were you able to gear me? He then would respond with the next instruction. The entire time the noise from the car wash made it almost impossible to hear the guy on the phone. When this was finished, the owner/manager took me outside and handed me a key and pointed at a row of trucks. The end. No words. When I returned the truck and got it backed into the parking space, I was berated for turning the truck off, because he had to take a picture of the odometer. I stood beside the truck waiting to see if anything else was required of me and the dude looked at me as if I was a moron and angrily said you can go home now. No confirmation receipt, or anything to sign...the whole thing seemed sketchy from start to finish. All of this is in contrast to every experience I have had online and in person at Saskatoon uhaul, which is professional and well run. For the record, I booked at the Saskatoon Uhaul location and the day before I was to get the truck, I was contacted by Uhaul and told they would have my truck and I would have to go to a different location. It's not a big deal, but it did add another 15 km to my total trip. Also for the record, I had planned on renting some furniture blankets and a few other supplies, but when I got to the car wash location, these items did not appear to be available and were not offered. Again, I was expecting the experience I had had before at Saskatoon Uhaul. Overall the truck was well maintained and drove well. One small issue was that the driver side sun visor would not stay in place, it completely fell out twice while driving so I just left it on the seat while I was driving. I did not mention this when I returned the truck because, as stated earlier, communication was a problem and frankly the dude was not someone I wanted to even try to explain this to.

No one on site spoke English. I walked in, and someone came out, handed me a phone with someone on the line who finished my reservation. He was clearly woken up (it was 10:30 in the morning), as he kept yawning and sounded groggy. Very uncomfortable setting.

Very unhelpful pick up, our truck was disgusting with every cup holder filled with sticky pop. Pop spilt all over the seats, someone’s disposable nails on the seats.. the car hauler I rented also did not fit my car and I had to incur and extra $3000 charge to have my car privately hauled. I am furious with the service provided by U-HAUL.

Fuel policy has the worst conditions, they will give u 1/4 tank and if u return less than 1/4 , they will charge you $30 . If they had given you full tank , tank would have atleast more than the 1/4 . But uhaul company did that on purpose to rip off the customer .

Was extremely hard to understand. We had issues hooking up to our truck and had to go buy multiple different links to attach the trailer which we feel was smaller than what we had wanted.

The truck was covered in bugs. The gas tank was at nearly empty, between 1/4 and 1/8. Was noted as 1/4 on the contract. On my return they wanted to charge me $70 for 1/16 of a tank difference. Not acceptable. Rental vehicle should always be returned full. Not happy about that part.

Had decent selection, if the attendant knew that a matress didn't fit in the trailer I rented would've been a bonus....I rented a trailer that was too small for the queen bed I was moving, arguably I should've had measurements for the matress, however the attendant might've asked me 'what are you moving?' and if i said 'the 2 mattresses you see in the back of my truck'...he might've suggested a different trailer...and potentially an upsell! The location didn't have any hitches to sell me (lost opportunity). I had to drive to the Canadian tire (20 min round trip) to get one adding time to my already tight time schedule...but I was happy to see there were trailers available!

Waited one hour and a half and then was told to comeback later all systems were down. 20 minutes later got a call from U-Haul saying that their system back up to return to get the truck. I complained and the worker told me that he was going to give me a bigger truck at no extra charges for my inconvenience. Wouldn't give me any paperwork and the next day was shocked to see that I was charged for the bigger truck and gas charge even though I put gas in before returning the vehicle. Took pictures of gas gage before and after. The worker told me that it's all in the system and that he can't do anything.

operater was rude, did not speak english. directly lied about the state of the vehicle and how much fuel was in it, then charged my aunt since i was not there; i was preparing my mothers new apartment since my father died unexpectedly of cancer, forcing my mother to move. anytime some one asks my my opinion of u-haul, i will be telling them this sorry. horrible experience and terrblt managed location. any other day i would have came back with my linguist freind. i have now have been left feeling U - Haul is completely unreliable. will not be back

No one was on site that knew how to do U-Haul. One form was never shown prior to taking vehicle and initials were forged on. Couldn't change my payment card because no one on site and guy wanted me to say it out loud in public place. Judging by set up it likely is common that the u haul trained people are not on site much.

Representative needs to fully understand rental agreement. He did not know how to include insurance in the agreement and communicated to us that if we book the truck for 3 days and bring back after 2 days you still pay for 3 days. The employee came very close to backing into my car. He needsto be aware of his surroundings at all times.

I have to say yes to the recommend, but do so with caution. I have never used U-Haul before and when I dropped the trailer off no one mentioned that return receipts would be emailed. When I asked for one. The person I think was the manager told me to go find one! That to me was border line rude. One of the others then mentioned all this was done on line now. No where as neat and tidy as the employees of the El Centro company. I got the feeling that U-Haul was of secondary importance to the Car Wash business in Saskatoon. How to improve... I don't know. In this I am probably as much to blame as the manager, but I am the customer!
