The Chinese guy at the front desk doesn’t speak English at all. We picked up the truck in the morning, and the front bumper wasn’t properly attached — we noticed it but didn’t say anything since we had insurance. We returned the truck 3 hours before the deadline. The Chinese guy saw that bumper. When we told him that it was already like that when we picked it up, that it’s all on U-Haul’s building cameras which he can check, and that we paid for insurance, he just got furious at us. We tried to explain and resolve the issue, but he just ignored us. For another 20 minutes, on a loudspeaker call, we had to explain to another person who works with this mister that we wanted to resolve this and that we have insurance. The Chinese guy at the front desk is absolutely incompetent at his job. We were helped by the person he called on the phone. Wasted time and nerves
