The software in the uhaual website takes you for a walk. it asks you to locate the vehicle first and then tells you to go and get the key for vehicle. in this location the vehicle and the key were in opposite ends of the building. it would have been better if the website had showed both the location of vehicle and key at the same time; so that people would not have to walk back and forth. Nevertheless the details in the website and the location were accurate and easy to follow. thanks for this.Hariharan S.
Fix the app. I couldn't return the vehicle on the app. It would not allow me to upload a photo of the odometer and fuel and refused to let me go any further in the return process. I finally figured out that I could go to your website and return the car that way.Edward W.

This location was very far from my house and the original location that I requested. When I called to ask about it, the customer service over the phone was very poor and rude. I had to go out of my way to get the truck 40 min each way.Faith K.
We actually rented two trucks from two different locations in Palatine IL. The location on Dundee Rd. was very nice and professional. The man at the location on Colfax was was of the meanest nastiest people I have ever encountered. I have worked in customer service for over 30 years. The vehicle location is isolated in the back corner of an unlit parking lot. Ordering was messed up as usual. And customer service sucks( I was on hold for 15min then when I gave info,the line was still connected by when silent for another 15 min. No one said hold please or let me look into that for you. Just silence! And like an idiot I waited!) And check in check out sucks in general. I feel like An unpaid employee doing all this check out work. Where's my $50 dollars for my time wasted. I will only recommend as a last resort! But you don't care and nobody will even read this! So what a sucker I am twice!Timothy S.

The owner came in late and left my workers waiting around while I paid them. He also wrote the wrong mileage and gas down which resulted in me paying more. Complete disaster and I may never rent from you again .STEVE F.

If I were you, I'd investigate who you allow to represent your company. Maybe send in a "secret shopper" so you can see how your customers are being treated. Or should I say lied to and screwed over. The owner of the shop is a lying, neglecting and shady person. I will NEVER step foot on his property again and definitely let everyone I know to not use him either!!!Jill K.

I am glad that there was parking. I was able to leave my car there for a couple of hours. The location is not easy to find with the GPS but I did find it quickly. It is hard parking the van because it is so big with the building shape. I had fantastic service when I needed to verify my documents. It would be helpful to know if I needed a passport prior. I am glad that I was able to verify with a friend. I am impressed that this worked and will rent again.Claire C.
I had to involve the police to return the vehicle. The odometer malfunctioned, and upon returning the truck it showed that I had accumulated approx 20 thousand miles in a 3 hour period!!!!! When I returned to the location the day after I returned the truck, I was simply told there was a problem and that I had been charged X amount of miles with no way to verify this. Im supposed to simply pay what Im told without any proof of the actual miles???? Im thinking of filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney Generals Office. I was very disappointed in the service I received before picking up my truck. My initial location was less than a mile from my apartment and it was moved to 25 minutes away. It made for a much more stressful start to our move. Then when we arrived, the inside of the truck had something red and sticky on the floor and seat with garbage thrown in the back. Aside from this, the pick up process was self-explanatory.Emma B.
