I reserved the U-Haul online, and I picked it up via the app. I have to jump through all types of Hoops just to get a code to open up the key box. Took me about 40 minutes to finally get my key box. Won't be using the online applicationMarques M.
I rented a pickup truck on your Web page and then it it took me to a rental of a 17 footer I don't want months or didn't wanna order all I needed was a pickup truck to move what I needed to move. Super busy multi-faceted place. It was a gas station/car repair place, and a UHaul pickup place. It made for a very lengthy pick up process due to every time someone came in he interrupted our transaction to help other people first. It felt very disorganized. He also stated I was renting a 14 footer when I had clearly rented a 15 footer online, his response was we don't rent that size...upon further investigation you do rent that size, so again it just did not seam like an organized or informed site.Jaime D.

The trailer was buried in a foot of snow, I had to hook it all up by myself. In the past the staff has all always done it. The tongue was frozen to the ground so it took me a while to break it loose. In short I would not rent from that location again. It took a long time to get everything processed.THOMAS L.

I was quoted a fee of $257 for the rental, when I picked up the truck the fee I was charged was over $300. I was told that was a deposit fee and when I dropped off the truck I was to be reimbursed. Well that didn't happen. I was told that a deposit is not required if using a credit card. I called grady's , they told to call the area manager,I left a message.Have not heard from that person. Well, this is an odd posting about U-Haul, because all I did was rent six blankets from Grady's to use in a trip that I was taking to Oregon. Ummm...the blankets worked great?TIM M.

the person who does the rental only works 4 hrs a day. I had to pick the truck up early to accommodate him. Been to the store twice to get a final receipt and he is not in so no other employee can give me one. That is just poor customer service.daryl P.
I ordered the pick up for the puetz location. The confirmation email said that it was confirmed. The guy there sent us to Packard. That guy in the shop on Packard didn't know what a tow dolly was. I asked if there was paperwork and he said no, just take it then we tested the lights and one didn't work. I got a phone call around 3 PM if I was still coming to pick it up from some lady. I told her about the experience and that I felt entitled to a discount at minimum since I told her that I did take it out of pure honesty. Had I not, it would have been a free rental. 0 stars for a rating. Feel free to let me know why I should use uhaul for anything again. There are plenty of other places I could have done business with but this location was across the street from my buddy who I was borrowing the truck from.Jim R.

I had called the local uhaul number the night I got the truck because it was too small. I was told that there was a 20 footer available at a location. When I got there the location was closed and there was no 20 footer. I called back and they said they would reserve one for me to pick up the next morning by 9 am. I asked for an email and no email came through. I then called the next day and was told that they did not reserve one for me nor was there any notes about reserving one in the system. They said there was nothing they could do and they did not offer any gas coupon or to discount the miles. I put almost 40 extra miles on that I am now going to be charged extra for. I was very dissatisfied with this and would have returned the truck had I not needed to move this weekend.Stephanie D.

No assistance hooking the trailer up. Never even asked if I had ever hooked one up before. Trailer was literally parked on a huge slab of ice and tongue and chains were frozen to the ground. Standing on ice trying to lift a trailer that was frozen to the ground to hook to my truck was almost impossible.RON G.
