Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The issue I have is I was suppose to get a truck from another location. Received a call two days prior saying the truck won't be available to get from this location. When i arrived the 26 ft truck I was suppose to get was not there and wouldn't be back until the next day. They had one truck but it had a bent axle. I knew I needed a 26 footer so I took the chance driving a truck that could have broke down anytime. Just not happy I reserved a truck and got bumped twice.Trevor S.

Make sure the equipment works properly. We had a bad experience with the car hauler we rented. Could not get the trailer unhooked from our truck. Literally had to remove hitch ball from truck to get it out of trailer hitch. Your help line was NO help at all. Was not a happy customer.WANDA M.

We were confused on what to do for after hours drop off. We were going to drop trailer and go. I got an email that explained how to on-line return, which helped us. The gasket on the rear door was broken and it allowed moisture to enter the compartment and got several boxes wet. The part needs to be replaced (I told that to the person at the dropoff location). Employees were otherwise helpful.Que B.

I only dropped a trailer off, after hours but they posted my return receipt the next day. Place was clean and organized. I didn't personally deal with any staff but if I would have, I am sure they would have been professional and courteous.dennis K.

The truck was not swept out and even though it ran fine it's still had over 150,000 miles on it I have used UHAUL many times in the past and I've never had such old truck with so many miles on it that was this dirtyRichard L.

The problem I had was not with this location but Uhaul itself. I reserved a car hauler trailer a week ago, including payment, at the Wayland location. Late in the evening the night before I was to use the trailer, I got a phone message saying the trailer had been rented by someone else and if I still wanted to make my move, I'd have to drive all the way out to Hastings to get one. Not only that, but if I wanted to avoid a ridiculous upcharge, I'd have to return it to the same location in Hastings. It wasn't my fault that Uhaul double books it's equipment. I rented in Wayland and should have had a trailer to pick up in Wayland. I work in retail and sell lawn equipment. If I was to sell a customer a lawn tractor in Wayland and then tell them Oh sorry I sold the tractor you bought to someone else, you'll have to travel to Hastings to pick another one up, or I can go get it if you'll pay me extra, imagine how long I'd be in business. What should have been a simple move for me, taking only a couple hours ended up taking all day from having to shuttle the trailer back and forth to a location completely opposite where I was going. Uhaul should have offered a discount for making customers go out of their way to retrieve equipment that was double booked, and should have eaten the return to same location fee. This will surely be my last Uhaul experience. Again, this does not reflect on this dealer personally...Uhaul itself needs to reform it's policies or the already enormous list of angry customer reviews online will only get bigger. They take full advantage of customers in need and exploit the fact that most are bent over a barrel and are forced to go along with the racket.marc S.
