The staff at the location were super friendly but a few things were lost in translation. I asked the guy if my drop off location could be in Elkhart instead of granger and he agreed stating that was smart but never updated end location causing additional fines. Also the location where I dropped off the truck in Elkhart IN of in Linconway decided to charge me for missing equipment. I rented a dolly and some furniture mats. The mats were left in the bed of the truck folded up as the drop off instructions described and the furniture dolly was secured to the truck just like when I picked it up. With the incorrect drop off location as well as the “missing equipment” charges my bill went from roughly $350 to $750. As a customer I’m livid and quite frankly I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone. I’ve spoken to the granger location and they stated that they would remedy the situation and I haven’t heard back from them afterwards.
