The truck was parked next to a fence with tall grass which made it concerning weather I was going to step into something not visible. The seat had brown mud or grease on them. The driver seat was ripped and the app did not allow me to post more than one photo and would not allow me to erase the previous photo to take a photo of the ripped seat to prove it wasn't done by me.SULAIMAN A.

Pre u-haul pickup, you advertise boxes on email. Why not send notices like "lmportant! You picked self service. No one will be present at the pick up site." We were clue less, called the number and after 30 frustrating minutes, we figured it out but it would have been really nice to have this clarified better pre trip to pick up the truck.Denise B.

The truck reserved was supposed to be at the location but then once we arrived the truck was at another location nearly 10-15 miles away which is the 915 Koontz Rd location. This is not were we researve to pick up the truck. In addition, after receiving the truck and doing the normal walkaround out in some remote country location at a facility that was closed and had to have someone drive in to open and give us the truck we left, then loaded and went to fill up and get on the road. At that point I noted something hanging down under the front of the truck. Upon inspecting it I found that the front sway bar was broke lose and just hang there. It wasn't even in the bushing mount it was just hanging there by a single bolt. I informed U-Haul of the issue. While on the road the truck continued to shift into a lower gear while going down hill creating hardships with traffic as well as timeliness. Upon arrival at Crescent City we noted a noise coming from the transmission area and reported it to the receiving facility and requested they pull this truck from the fleet until properly maintenanced. I have attempted to contact U-Haul to discuss this issue but have not received any response in over a week. I am GREATLY Displeased with this entire experience. Trailers could use a trailer jack for mounting and dismounting from the ball as 6 x 12 trailers with brake systems can be quite heavy.Mitchell G.

The young lady that I worked with did an outstanding job, and I was able to get the paperwork done and on the road in less than 15 minutes. She had everything lined up and in order, so I didn't have to waste time with the paperwork.ILA V.

Good service. The only problem was that when the vehicle was reserved, I wanted a 10' Van. We were offered a 14' Truck for the same price. This would not be a problem, however 12 mpg vs 10 mpg over 1200 plus miles made fuel costs higher. When reserved the drop off was Williston N.D. When picked up Williston was not available. ( this was our destination) Not knowing a problem we rented the vehicle, thinking Williston N.D. was an approved drop-off.DOUGLAS W.
they were very helpful and informative. Allow trailer returns to any Uhaul location in the county. I needed two days and wanted to drop in Toledo. The difference in cost for one way plus a day was prohibitive. But overall the cost for the trailer was very reasonable. Thanks EEUGENE FRANCIS O.
The representative was super nice but it took us 4 hours to get our U-haul. The U-Haul gas tank was empty. We had to go back to the location and they had to bring gas then we followed them to the gas station only to find that someone has vandalized the truck and poked a hole in the gas tank so we had to go to another location to get a truck. We had made a reservation for a 14 ft U Haul Thursday morning to be picked up in Chehalis WA Friday morning and when we got there it was not available. The people who had it werent bringing it in until the next day. We spent 4 hours trying to get our Uhaul. We were granted a 50 Credit to our card for the inconvience and we have yet to recieve that. I feel we should be get something more then that seems we had to wait 4 hours and got the wrong truck and information. We had an 1 1/2 drive to get the U haul and a 4 hour wait to even find one when I had made a reservation already and it was double booked. Then get sent with the wrong truck.........MELISSA D.
