Location was great. U-Haul online was not. Trying to book a trailer in my area the best the rep from U-Haul could do was to send me an hour from my home staring point. I checked for myself and this location had two. Glad I checked. I can only assume that the rep from U-Haul wanted to move me to a different location that had more trailers ? Poor customer service.

Jerry RCould not use the tralier. Your "6ft" trailer has a door on the back which is only about 4 1/2' wide. Returned and had to pay dispite not being able to use it.

KEVIN FVery upset that U-Haul changed the drop off location today while we were already in the process of moving items. We had extreme difficulty finding the lock box at Grease Monkey. Also, the self drop off process was horrific. We called U-Haul for help. Got disconnected, and had to call again. Finally, we were told where the lock box was located. We spent an hour trying to figure out the process. We had asked to drop off the truck where we picked it up which had a live person who said could not receive the truck. We had to drive another mile down the road.. So much for convenience!!!
CRAIG CNightmare trying to get a vehicle!! Location changed by u-haul mid-day today, but same vehicle. At the new location to pickup Van, I was told I could not have that van after hours, but would get another one. After great help from Natasha, I learn that I had a 15’ truck and not a Van!! 45 minutes later checkout was finally completed. Ugh. Bad experience. Location was too dark and instructions to find key not clear. Again, thankful Natasha stayed on the phone with me. Truck was older model. Could not adjust outside mirrors. Very frustrating that vehicle promised was NOT the vehicle I received because of u-haul error. I’m sure it ate gas much worse than the van promised. I will seek future vehicles from other vendors before u-haul.
Dan WBefore calling customers asking them where the truck is they need to walk the lot. The truck was returned the same day it was taken, and he called me asking where it was. Should be pretty easy to find business is the biggest truck that they have in their fleet.

ROLAND MStaff very friendly and very polite. However, they tried to give me a 6 by 12 trailer that was rusted , dirty and a fender almost dragging the road. I refused this trailer, to then have to accept another trailer with a running side light NOT functioning--electrical wires sticking out from the fender with no light attached to it. When I questioned the employees, they implied it was not their responsibility to inspect the equipment, that all inspections were done by UHAUL prior to delivering the equipment to them.
KATHERINE EWell i think 100$ added on to my bill was a bit much. I didnt want to drive your truck as tired as i was last night so i took a nap and accidentally over sleot a couple hours and got charged an extra hundred $ i just think that was a bit much but otherwise ok

Michael JThe app is terrible, it took me ONE HOUR to take my truck off the lot bc it couldn't detect my location (even though all permissions were enabled). Then the verification took forever because I have a MD DL but live/rent in VA (there should be some reciprocity for DC/MD/VA folks). I wanted to cry because I had arrived early and because of the app n verification my move helpers still had to wait for me - I don't like wasting ppls time. I brought it back in half of the time I had requested. Please improve the app (bc I un/reinstalled several times but the browser worked) and allow DC/MD/VA (maybe even NC) ppl from renting without a hassle.

Vicki JI came got a rental truck used it bring it back . Got an email two days later saying that I needed to pay $26 for gas and mileage. I had no problem with that. My problem is why the amount adjusted when I returned it. Why did I get charged double that price for a late fee. When the money which is the $26 should’ve just been taken out of just like they took the money for the late fee unauthorized. Why would I have to give authorization for the 26 dollars to be taken ? When you charge me a three day late fee, which doubles the $26 and turn it to 50 some dollars and took that out of my account. It seems like they waited to take the money out so that it could be overpriced why wasn’t . When is it I owed that? Why would you wait and take money from me. I don’t recommend anyone use U-Haul. I will be leaving the same comment for the reviews for Google and all other search engines.

Sandra QThe online drop-off instructions just say to place the key in the drop box... but they don't say where the dropbox is. It isn't in the building or near the self storage... instead someone decided to put it on the fence that surrounds hides the dumpster. Took us a long while to find it.
Francis L26' truck had undocumented damage. Had to take photos prior to trip and document with traffic office.
Boyd AWe rented a 26' truck and an auto transport trailer. Spoke with the traffic office prior to pick up to arrange that transport not be attached until we returned with truck loaded. When we arrived, the trailer was already attached and had to be detached.
Boyd ATell them to put signs indicating office area! Would not go over check in with me or complete in my presence. Added 3 gallons of gas when level was same as was at pickup! The check in lady was very curt and not wanting me to wait for final checkin. Said would just send me an email.

James MThe truck I rented didn't have a ramp which was a HUGE inconvenience. I should've check, and will in the future, but it doesn't make sense to me that a MOVING truck wouldn't. Especially considering the truck sits more than a foot off the ground! Uhaul should indicate no ramp in bold letters on the back of the truck or ask during the reservation process.
