I’m not usually one to complain, but It took 30-40 minutes past the pick up time to get the key code for the lockbox. I tried calling again and again and nobody seemed to know why I didn’t receive the code yet, but eventually someone was able to help after the 6th call. My fiancé missed her doctors appointment because she was waiting with me to make sure I got the key so I wasn’t stranded there.

The process to sign up and rent the vehicle is horrible. It took over one hour which set me behind on timing therefor I was billed for extended time. Totally unfair.

John Hactually the location was okay it was just the process. For some reason they switched pick up locations and that messed with my plans and then it was not in the system right for me to sign in on the app and then it took time to find the right person and so on.

The guy at the first location and then the second were great. My feedback is for the corporate U-haul experience… I will NOT be renting again thru the app.

Frank MLocation staff said it was all self-check-in. But when I tried, your app said I needed counter support. Basically felt like no one knew what was going on. Then I was double charged for a dolly cuz your staff didn't know a dolly was already on the truck. Then your call center staff wouldn't reverse the charge. Also, the truck was really old and beat.

David BAt first he said I couldn’t leave the truck there, then he called and confirmed I had reserved to leave the truck there. He told me to move it to a different spot in his parking lot. Overall, it was fine, it just felt like he was annoyed.

Sarbjit SThe website order never stated that the Folsom location was a GAS STATION. Therefore, all of the supplies promised ( tv boxes etc. we’re not available. Plus there was a delay in the pickup in that the counter person was asking for a non existent password - instead of simply looking at the mobile confirmation and receipt.
Kristen vWhen we arrived the dolly and blankets were not in the UHaul, we had to get hold of someone and go to another location for pick up. Also the tank was a 1/4 full, how does that make any sense, so we had to try and guess how much fuel we would use, we ended up dropping off with more than 1/2 of a tank so how is that fair to us. If it was full, we could have just paid to make it full again at drop off, now we spent way more than needed which is unfair and fuel is very expensive.
nels lThe front windshield was covered in dead bugs to the point I could hardly see, creating a safety issue. I had to clean what I could reach to see out the front. Three attempts to clean the window hardly made a dent. Clean windshields would be appreciated, especially for seniors who have a hard time reaching the windshield

Leo ZEnsure that the customer receives the number code for the locker, I was never given it when I went to check in to pick up the truck. I was on hold with customer service for over 20 minutes before I was hung up on and had to ask the gas station manager to help me. Terrible experience.
Lillian LQuit making me sign into my account multiple times and confirm my identity, do captcha, then every location loses internet connection when a cell Tower is in close proximity. Ridiculous!
Daryll KI could not do the online check in. Tried 3 times and the system said please check in on 12/23/20 after 7:30am (when they are open). I was there at 11:15am on 12.23.20. I had to have the gas station employee help me. He was very helpful. Took 30 min to get the truck. On line return was very easy.

KENT Fat the pick up time we couldn't retrieve the key from the secure box even if we entered the code. the convenient store attendant helps out since he had a master key to open the secure box. we were dissapointed.
Patricio MThis location has no one from UHUAL there so you are forced to do everything on line which to be honest was not the easiest to do. After reading the instructions on the phone I was able to follow the protocol and submit it on line. I have always rented and returned a U-Haul to a hard site so this experience was a bit uneasy because I was not 100% that my agreement was going to go through correctly and I would be billed appropriately.

Mark BWhen I arrived, there was no code given thru the pick up website. Upon calling the local manager, he gave the code to both of the boxes and neither had the keys in it. Made for a late arrival to my move out and was not a pleasant experience.

Barbara WApp didn't work. Had to wait until an extraordinarily rude off-site representative from customer service could be reached, so he could manually make the truck available for use. Don't use this service if you have anything close to a schedule that you're trying to follow.
