The gas gage was marked under half full on the paper I received at check in. Once in the truck, the gage read at half a tank. Returned the truck the same day, later that Saturday. I made sure to gas up and make sure the gage was at half a tank, just like when I first picked the truck up. Today (Monday 14) when I called to see if I owed anything, after my move and the owner wasn't in until today, he said I owed $29 and some change for not have the gas gage where it was at pick up, which definitely wasn't true. I explained everything to him that I stated above and he waived the $29 and some change, which was greatly appreciated. Trying to over charge someone unless they say something is not right. I was warned that this happens a lot with uhaul rentals. Just some insight on my part as a renter. Have a lovely day.Jessica D.

I was supposed to pick up my rental in Kentville NS and was advised I had to drive to Kingston NS to pick up. This was not convenient for me, especially being advised 48 hours before my designated pick up. UHaul did add free miles and extra days for the inconvenience. I appreciated that.darryl B.

Make sure the truck is clean and not littered with dog hair. Also only 1/4 of a tank of gas in the truck. Office was poorly managed as well. My stuff got soaked due the the poor condion of the truck. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!Melissa M.

Online booking has a lot of issues. I had to continually call head office to correct things I had already requested online. Also received larger truck than requested as the truck I requested was not available at this location. I got it for the same price but because it was a larger truck I had to put more gas in it so really felt that it should have been cheaper since I requested a smaller one to begin with.Charles B.

Need to clean trucks. Sticky and stinks. Returned truck to metro equipment on green St, hali. Would not refund my deposit and I had to drive to horshoe lake Dr to get my refund. Not impressed with dealer at metro. Roland at greenwood rent all is great. No issue there.anthony A.

The U-Haul equipment at this site is all in good order. The site itself is the equivalent of a junkyard and does not represent U-Haul well. Lots of non-repairable equipment strewn around the property creating an unsafe and unsightly venue. I would recommend U-Haul change its neighbourhood dealer for this area. It was an after hours pickup so no interaction with the owner was available.David L.

The guys at Rent-All are great. They are very friendly but the truck I got was absolutely disgusting! It smelt like either shit, or old work boots. The truck itself drove like it would fall apart, and to top it off the tires were bold. Luckily I did not have far to move but I don't feel that makes it a good excuse to rent a poor truck. As I said I like the guys at this location, I have rented trucks before from them, but the truck was a poor choice. I will still recommend them but hope in the future they will check over their trucks a little better.Jenna B.

Spent 1 hour looking for the lock box that had the keys in it, it was in the back of a junk lot on the corner of a fence that was blocked by junk. Had to call u-haul to see where the keys were and it took them awhile to see where the box was. Very frustrating and was a terrible place to have the lock box.Melissa P.

I am very unpleased with the service I received from Uhaul. Thursday I had it set to pick up my truck at 7AM. Showed up 15 minutes early and my truck was not ready. 1) it was blocked in by another truck 2) it was dirty/uncleaned (which is terrible considering the time we are in) 3)the truck still had items from the last driver in it 4) the system wasn't working right and my reservation wasn't prepared 5) got my truck 1 hour after arriving, even then it was very inconvenient 6) the hour wait to FINALLY get a truck after a reserved it a week prior to ruined my entire day. 7) not only was I pushed off my original schedule, I was unable to get my new apartment key in time having to rent a room else where. 8) the man who I dealt with at the dealership had no idea what he was doing 9) I had reserved a 10ft truck and the reservation was set, the day before you no longer had the size I needed and upgraded me to a 15ft truck (with no extra charge) which ends up taking and using more gas I hadn't originally planned for. 10) I had paid for my truck online prior to picking it up and when I picked it up I was charged an additional 47 dollars. I paid taxes twice! 11) I rented a truck for 2 days, that's 48 hours. I had my truck for a little more than 24 hours and was charged a whole extra day. This trip ended up being more expensive then originally planned and it was because of the lack of communication and preparedness on your behave. I would like some sort of refund or compensation for the inconvenience you have caused me during my move! I do not accept all these additional charges.
