Overall, there is a problem with your system. I had to travel to Barnesville to pick up my one way rental. This is not right for the customer. There are 3 uhaul dealers in Hazleton, PA where my request was made for. One had 7 units the same size as the one I requested. I somewhat understand that I wanted a one-way uhaul and not a return to Hazleton. But still this needs to be corrected where uhaul delivers a one way to Hazleton and not force client to go out of his way. I will not use the Hazleton Uhaul system again if this policy continues!

Truck dropping oil in several spots. Man not knowledgeable. Last minute pick up location change, not enough miles, fuel not filled to half tank as supposed to be, charged for insurance without asking. Drop off location charged for extra day, for extra fuel and extra miles. After disputing charges, drop off location said they'd remove extra charges. Still waiting!

Why did I have to go so far away when there is a location less than 5 minutes from the zip code I listed? I passed it. The whole experience was no good. I cannot believe it. For what I paid, a few bucks more with another vendor I probably will be more satisfied. I will be thinking that next time.

I canceled the rental became they charg a $15 extra fee after the signing and uhaul fee and I told them what kind of crazy thing is that then I showed them a recipe from a place I rented in another location and they said they charge there own Processing fee and the trailer is only rented till 8 p.m the same day I rent it every rude and Arrogant people when u dont agree with there terms I will never ever rent anything at this location and I would never recommend anyone there either that's crazy !!!

Well ill start this with the trailer i reserved was not the trailer i needed. I wanted the trailer with motorcycle chock. i had to use a regular trailer no others there. Next I got no help on hooking the trailer up to my truck. I wasnt sure if i did it correct in which case i didnt it came of the ball and damaged my new trucks bumper the guy told me where it was and that was it and he got in his truck and left. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.And to top it off the office/store was a total disgrace. If i were you id go and make a visit

The milage was wrong compared to the paperwork. Paperwork last 2 digits said 20 but it was really 50. Took photo and kept going to my destination because truck was being rented at 5pm by someone else that same day. Explained to man at desk and he replied you should have brought the truck right back. Truck return mileage was 74. So over charged for mileage.

Inform the customer about the truck, and the cost of how much it costs to fill the gas tank. When a customer reserves a place to pick up a U-Haul, and they’re none available and the customer has to go to a different location please accommodate the customer to the best of your ability. Lastly, inform the customer of the process of dropping the U-Haul at the drop off location and that the customer needs a smart phone.

Owner didn’t even know if he had my requested trailer on the lot. Then he left me with doubts about my truck pulling a 6x12. It pulled just fine. Unit was dirty. He never came out to look at the trailer with me or check my truck to make sure I had the right equipment. Also no helped offered to pry this trailer out of the snow and ice it was sitting in when I went to hook up. I had to clean out all the snow and water from the plug end before I could even plug it in my truck receptacle. Because it wasn’t on a level solid surface it took everything I had to get it up and hooked on my truck by myself. Also since I didn’t check inside the trailer before I left it wound up having a hand truck in it that I didn’t request. Horrible experience.

I dropped the truck off 3 hours after renting it and they did not check it back in the next day comes around and they still did not check it back in I had to call corporate so I would not get charged for a second day

Business did not open at 9 as described. I went into adjoining gas station and attendant was able to process the rental agreement after telling me that they should be here soon. The location also did not have the correct number of furniture pads I needed and upon leaving the location the fuel gauge only had 35 miles to empty (way below 1/4 tank).

First these ppl didn't even have our reservation. Their system wouldn't work we were there for an hour. Then the milage is automatically estimated for you, at 25 miles. We moved 6.. I've rented this on the 28th, never had a problem any where else with credits from milage from u-haul, and I'm still being charged the whole amount and no credit is on my account when the guy said the 29th after 9am. Now it's 3-5 days. Clearly not going back.

The service was horrible the individual renting the truck cursed and screamed then told me my truck was not clean and refused to name what wasn’t clean about the truck. Along with him telling me to stop acting like what I know I am. I asked what did he mean by that? He said stop acting like a asshole and what I know what else I am. If this is the type of racism UHaul supports I want you to understand that this will be my last rental. (Check history)

No one was there when we got there for pickup. Store hours said closed at 10am. But our reservation was for 11am. Someone from the gas station helped. He had to call the uhaul guy to tell him what to do. He cursed while doing the transaction. He hand the receipt over and lit a cigarette and walked away. No help with connecting the trailer. Upon drop off no one was there to assist. When someone did appear he said put it over there and pointed. He offered no help at all until I showed him my bandaged hand. I had recently got 5 stitches. He then came over to help and he needed my help doing it.

Hire people that will actually be there in the office when you go to pick up the truck. Bryan who is the uhaul representative was no where to be found when arriving at the office. Office was messy and not clean and the front door was wide open. He left the contract and key to truck on his desk. No one ever explained the contract nor did anyone explained where the truck had be dropped off. Apparently you can't just drop of at any uhaul location like I thought. Charged me double the price even though I only had the truck for 2 days. Bryan charged me for 4 days. I will never use uhaul again. Not only did I have the stress of moving but I also had a this guy harassing me via phone and threating my fiancé. I would never recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever go to this business again.

I am very unhappy with uhaul I went to minersville auto in minersville pa to pick up my truck which was suppose to have the key under the seat but of course there was no key so I then had to call Larry who informed me that it should be there and he would call around to find out what is going on I am now 30 min past pick up time.an hour after I was to get the truck Larry called me back and said I needed to go to hazleton pa to pick up a truck because the guy told him he did not leave the key.I drove to hazleton pa which is another 30 min from minersville pa I'm not happy I should not have to go through what I went through when I got to hazleton the man there named Brian was very helpful and friendly uhaul should make sure all of there people are like this.

I could have had better instructions on how the 24 hour drop off worked. I had to drive from my house to the drop off site with my own car to check and see if I could drop it off because their posted hours showed they were closed. I am a first time U-Haul user and was not sure how it was to be done.

The dog almost bit me and did not stop barking the entire time it took 45 mins for him to make his coffee talk on his phone then come out to process my truck, he was not there when I dropped off the truck at 1pm on Saturday and did not process my payment until today, ( he is open on Sundays) he was very rude did not give us the pamphlets did not tell us where the night drop box was, it was a very bad experience, did not inform us how long the renal was for

The facility was not scheduled to be open until 9 am. I was unaware of this. The Mechanicsburg facility, where I scheduled the truck, opens at 7. That difference in hours caused problems. In addition the attendant did not arrive until 9:15.

I arrived with my truck still loaded because I was dropping off the trailer a while. I immediately asked the uhaul rep for help, never got his name. He immidately became hostile, stating that he WILL NOT help me because my car was on the trailer. I said the other uhaul place said you would help me. I am unable to get my car off by myself and unhitch the trailer in the location you want it, can you please help me. He again said no. I moved the truck up more, and began unhooking my car. He didn't even help assist guide me off the trailer, this took about 20 minutes. He stood there watching me and offered no help. I tried several times to back the trailer into the desired location with continuous fail. I then turned around and was going to drop the trailer where it was and have them move it by pushing it into the spot, before I could suggest this the uhaul rep starting screaming at me. His words, "you fucking crazy lady, you can't put it in the middle of the lot. I will not accept it and any damages you will pay for. Look, you can't even drive the truck, you have it jackknifed and that'll cost you 1,000 dollars. I can't help you don't know how to drive a truck." I then was in tears, I yelled back to him as he is walking away, "I can't do it, I asked for your help and you denied me." he then screamed back at me, " I'M NOT DRIVING YOUR TRUCK." there was a bystander who then assisted me in parking the trailer and removal. He took it down to the end lot and unhitched me. I was so upset I left in my uhaul to go unload it. I forgot my car was blocking one of the gas pumps there. As my truck was being unloaded, I remembered my car and immediately called the uhaul place. The same rep answered the phone and was very demeaning and belittling. I said I am so sorry, I can have someone there who lives 3 miles away in 10 minutes. He then proceded to lie to me, I found out after the fact it was a lie. He told me, "oh well the police were called, it's being towed. They're loading it now." I asked him to please let the police know someone will be there in 10 minutes to pick up the car. He said, "oh, well they're already driving away." I asked to speak with the officer there and he replied, "yup they're towing it away, off to the impound it goes, hahahahahahahaha." I asked where is that and can I speak to someone else. He then said, "ok, someone will be in contact." he then hung up on me and denied my next 3 calls to immediately follow. He was the most disrespectful person I have ever encountered. He treated me with such chastise it was repulsive. I can't believe anyone would ever have that kind of attitude toward a paying customer. I paid just under 300 to uhaul for a 17 foot truck and a car transport plus 33.68 to refuel the tank, and this is how I was treated. I would suggest replacing that representative. It is apparent he is not customer savvy nor savvy enough in people skills to show respect for others. Again, this all started because I asked him for help.

Add to the information online the length and type of extension required for the trailer being rented. In my case I needed at least a 3 foot extension since the cord on the trailer did not even reach the end of the trailer itself. Provide all information and requirements in the online rentals.

After filling the truck up with gas at the gas station next door, went into the office...it was a mess and nobody was in sight (the grounds around the building were also a mess). After yelling "hello" a few times I went back to the gas station next door and asked if they were connected to the Uhaul, and was asked if I was dropping off...then told where to park it and to put the keys in e key drop off box. Very sketchy operation, glad this was just a drop off, can't imagine doing a rental at this location.

Scheduled pick up time was for 9 a.m. The representative did not arrive on site until 9:30 a.m. They did not have the furniture dolly that was a part of my online order and they did not have any moving blankets. I also ordered these online.

Extremely rude, charged for gas when it was returned with the exact amount rented to us. Very ignorant sales person. Oil light was on in truck, battery died. Charged $176.54 for an extra day because no one was in the office to take it upon return. Was screamed at because it was parked in "an incorrect spot".
