Uhaul experience itself was fine, but this location is awful. This is my 2nd and last rental from there. Each time, the customer service rep at the counter, an older, long gray haired woman is extremely rude. the 1st time in January 2026, it took 40 minutes to set us up and she was in a heated argument with another woman the entire time. It was very awkward and unprofessional, but everybody has bad days so we left it alone. This time, we booked and did all online so we did not have to have this experience. She came flying out the door and asked my dark skinned husband what he was doing standing at her door. He had been standing there waiting on me to finish checking in online. We told her that we were there for 1pm pickup of a 10ft truck and she stated there wasn't one. I pointed to the truck sitting several spots away and she told us we couldn't have it because it was reserved TOMORROW. She kept arguing and saying "I hate when they do this shit to me, but its all about money" referring to uhaul booking us an entire day before a different reservation. We stayed silent, got key, and left. She followed us outside and told us to move our car away from the front door because it wasn't safe and asked us to park at the far end of the completely empty parking lot. we did. Upon return, I went inside to drop off the key and she was sitting on her cel phone, looked at me, kept being on her phone, stood up with her back to me still on her cell, before finally turning around and saying how can i help you? I handed her the key and left. We will never rent from this location again. This employee is driving away your customers. She obviously never learned manners or customer service in the 7 months since our last rental. Cleveland is as small town and word will spread quickly on where to rent and where not to. She has fully torched that bridge for us.

Trying to access and use the U-Haul online form for confirming the condition of the vehicle was TERRIBLE! And I am not certain it ever worked. Often, the form app would not take the picture and rarely did it ever process and save the pictures taken. Comments that I added never saved. I ended up taking picture of the broken passenger side rear-view mirror and saving them with a date stamp to my own camera.
