If you cancel someone's order, you should notify them. Allow some flexibility with pick-up times - moving is chaotic and people can't always be there exactly at start time. Having to reschedule an order was incredibly frustrating,especially when I couldn't get the truck size I originally ordered while staring at over a dozen of them in the parking lot. The Uhaul app sucks and doesn't function. Instructions for key pick-up at the location were inaccurate. Probably the worst experience for our whole move.

There is no signage to show which business in the strip mall is the right one and the app does not give any information of where to get the keys. After walking around in the heat for several minutes I found the place and got my keys only to walk back to the truck and find it was pad locked, walked back to the store to have them take off the pad locked only to find the dolly I ordered was not present. The employee shrugged and told me to come with her to I guess go get my dolly and wheel it back myself? at which point I had walked back and forth to the store too many times and I was very overheated so I declined to get the dolly. Drop off process was fine though

It was very noisy, hard to hear and understand over the phone but when the guy got there and we left the place to go to the truck, it was fine after that.

I was told to pick my truck up from this location because someone from U-Haul called me and told me the original location I booked my truck with was closing early. I had to go to that original location to load a u-box container and they told me they didn’t close early. Was giving no explanation why I had to switch as they had plenty of trucks in their lot. When I got the truck it was missing the dolly I reserved and when I tried to explain it in the office, the only person there barely spoke English as the people who deal with the rentals wasn’t there. Luckily I was able to get it, but I was not pleased with the whole experience.

The problem was not the pick-up location, but misleading advertising. After 43 miles of driving, less than 4 hrs, I ended up paying $152, far cry from the 19.95 that it’s boldly printed on the trucks.
