I returned the trailer to my local dealer and had no issues. I returned it after hours but had plenty of safe options for parking and it was well lit. Great place.

This was the best Uhaul experience I have had. I have rented from Uhaul numerous times in the past, with some being quite negative experiences. This was not the case for the Edgemont location.

Edgemont U-Haul was great, but there is a problem that this survey does not allow me to bring up. I am using this dialog box to bring the problem to your attention. I am moving to Florida this February and decided to get my Honda Civic there before the formal move. Via a mid-December conversation with U-Haul online & phone staff I was informed that my truck (2004 F-150) did not have the trailering capacity to handle a car transport trailer. The staff stated that I had no alternative but to rent a car dolly and arrangements were thus made. I planned to rent the asset during the Christmas weekend to transport my Honda Civic to Florida but canceled due to an unexpected situation. In a later interaction, U-Haul's online staff arranged for me to rent the trailer for the re-scheduled move that was to be accomplished over the New Year's weekend. Additionally, U-Haul's online staff informed me that no local U-Haul locations had the needed asset, thus forcing me to travel to Edgemont SD to get one at that location. I expected that I was going there to get a dolly. After traveling 90 minutes to Edgemont, I discovered the problem. Thankfully, Edgemont U-Haul also had a dolly, so at least I could get what was needed. Per my request, Edgemont checked the U-Haul system and verified that my F-150 was the only vehicle on my U-Haul profile and that I was set up to receive the trailer. They also verified that the U-Haul system settings should have flagged this, due to the trailering limitation of my F-150 per U-Haul policy. There is no way this could have occurred without a person, having the proper system override rights, adjusting whatever was required in your system controls to allow me to get a trailer. The action wasted my time and gasoline. Also, per your policy guidelines, it could have placed me in danger if the previous conversation did not happen, thus leading me to wonder how I was set up with a trailer when your system specifies that dolly was that maximum that could be matched to my truck.
