The staff here are not friendly at all and talk over you when you are trying to talk to them and get mad and yell when you continue to try and finish what you are saying. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. Do NOT book online. We rented a space there by accident , never moved in or anything. We called to try and get a refund so we could get a unit at the right place. The lady would not refund us but told us to call someone else. The number she gave us was for a man who said he had nothing to do with units for U-Haul. We called the 1800 number and they talked to her and she then changed her tune and told us she would refund us. We paid $36 and she only refunded $6 stating the $30 was administration fees that were none refundable.. which is a joke because all she did was literally pick up a phone and talk to us. 10/10 do not recommend. Since this incident I’ve heard this place is well known for poor customer service. But if you enjoy being talked over, not listened to, yelled at and not receiving a refund then book away. One receipt I got a copy of had the name Farrah as the employee. The lady that screamed and only refunded $6 dollars sent an receipt and the name on it was Stacye R. Go to the U-Haul storage unit beside Lowe’s. Amazing customer service and they apologized multiple times for the treatment we received from Guntersville Self Storage.

Had to change pick up location because truck wasn't available at original location. Checking in at a closed location was ridiculous. Couldn't verify me. Had to give several phone numbers for them to call to ID me. Check engine light was on in truck. Originally paid extra for furniture dolly. Truck didnt have dolly or blankets.
Isaiah BI had to remotely return my U-Haul as they didn’t open until 10:00. No customer service at all and never saw the inside of the building. I suggest going to a location with better hours.

JOSEPH JKeep reservations. My equipment and pickup location was changed 3 times. I eventually drove 2 hours away for pickup . I was connected to scheduling where the person was very rude. I called customer service where an employee worked diligently to help me and helped me secure equipment.

loren tYou U-Haul can call and confirm like you are supposed to - I had to look up the number and call the pickup location myself. You U-Haul can actually provide the information input when the unit is prepaid to the pickup location and not waste our time good over the same information again. Based on your guarantee you owe me the $50 credit.
James BMake them answer the phone and not let my calls go to the national Uhaul number which will not be answered. Every time I called them I got transferred to the national number and was on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes, sometimes as long as 1 hour. This is such a big problem that I will not use Uhaul again if I have any other options.
Tom Pstaff went over and beyond to answer all our questions. was very helpful in reporting the minor damages we found before leaving this location.
Charles AWe reserved the truck for another location. On the day that we were to pick it up U-haul called and wanted to know why we had not picked up the truck in an entirely different location. About 20 miles out of the way from where we needed it. That meant a 40 mile round trip just to pickup and drop off the truck. After a great deal of conversation a truck was found closer to where we needed it. When you make a reservation (3 weeks in advance) you expect the vehicle to be at the location where you requested. We are not happy with UHaul's way of changing locations.

Kay LHave better instructions for getting U-Haul when location is closed. Have better phone help that listens to what the customer is saying. Had a BAD experience since Uhaul said I had truck 2 days before I picked it up and when I called U-Haul after hours number, I had more issues for over 30 mins before scheduled reservation to pick truck up.
